Chapter 9 - Face to Face

Thale watched as the brute and the one-handed man went inside the building, leaving the skinny pirate outside. This was his chance to take down the skinny pirate without being noticed, and he quickly formulated a plan.

It was best to take down the skinny pirate first and try not to make too much noise. He took a deep breath and readied his bow and arrow, determined to do whatever it took to stop these pirates.

He took careful aim and let his arrow fly, watching as it struck its target with deadly accuracy. The skinny pirate fell to the ground with a cry of pain, and Thale had just taken down his first target.

Thale quickly retrieved his arrow and took cover, knowing that he had to be ready for anything. The other two pirates were inside the building, and he had to be ready to take them down if they came out.

He took a deep breath and waited, his heart racing as he prepared for the next phase of the battle.

He had to be careful if he wanted to take down the other two pirates. He decided to make some noise in the hopes of attracting one of them out of the building, and then he could take them down one by one.

He banged on the wall of the building, trying to make as much noise as possible. He could hear movement inside, and he had succeeded in drawing one of the pirates out.

He readied his bow and arrow, waiting for the pirate to appear. As soon as he saw the one-handed pirate emerge from the building, he let his arrow fly, striking him with deadly accuracy.

Thale had to be quick if he wanted to take down the brute, and he rushed towards the building, his dagger at the ready. He could hear the brute inside, and he had to be careful if he wanted to survive this fight.

With a deep breath, Thale charged into the building, determined to take down the last of the pirates and defend the girls.

Thale imagined that the brute would be the most difficult one to take down, and he readied his bow and arrow as he walked into the building. He took careful aim and let his arrow fly, hoping to catch the brute off guard.

Unfortunately, the arrow bounced off the brute's armour, and now Thale needed a new plan. He could see the brute charging toward him, and he knew that he had to be ready for anything.

He readied his dagger and prepared to defend himself, knowing that this was going to be a tough fight. The brute was strong and heavily armed, and Thale would have to use all of his skill and strength if he wanted to take him down.

He took a deep breath and focused all of his energy on the fight. This was a battle that he couldn't afford to lose.

Thale and the brute engaged in a fierce fight, each one determined to come out on top. The brute was strong and heavily armed, and Thale had to be careful if he wanted to survive this fight.

Fortunately, the brute seemed to have difficulty controlling his Qi, and this is something he could use to his advantage. He concentrated and focused his own Qi on his blade, knowing that he needed every advantage he could get.

The brute swung his axes wildly, and one mistake could mean the end of Thale. He dodged and parried, trying to keep the brute at bay.

The fight went on for what felt like an eternity, and Thale could feel himself getting tired. But he couldn't give up, not if he wanted to protect his home and his people.

With a final burst of energy, Thale launched himself at the brute, his blade glowing with Qi. The brute fell to the ground with a cry of pain, and Thale came out on top.

He took a deep breath and looked around, relieved to see that the battle was finally over. It had been a tough fight, he had done everything he could to win.
