"Turn back! You won't make it. Turn back, you won't make it! Turn back!! you won't make it! You won't! You won't!! make it!!!!"
This was exactly the voice i heard as i journeyed my way on the tiny little bridge which as well could be called the narrow path.
December 13, 1997 was the day I would be enlisted in the army of heaven.
As I lay my head that night on my couch in the realm of mortality to restore strength to my feeble body, a strong midst encroached and disposed me into the Spiritual.
I found myself in an endless desert, so empty and dried that even dust stayed calm.
I could hear sounds from a thousand miles, if there was, but for none, the valley lay quiet and still.
Far ahead of me was a huge mountain standing in demarcation of me and the people to which I was called to save.
I could envision them beckoning on me to come to deliver them.
Their throats tried, feet quaked with sores of suffering and torment;
They were wounded and dejected. Their honor taken away from them and restored with bitterness and sorrow.
It seemed my coming was still miles away despite the fact that I was close to being with them.
I started running to increase my reach. Shortly, my path became a narrow road that could only contain one foot at a time in a succession.
Deep down the narrow path was a pit dug along and it went towards the mountain.
Suddenly I heard a voice;
"Turn back! You won't make it. Turn back, you won't make it! Turn back!! you won't make it! You wont! You won't!! make it!!!!"
I was scared and tried turning back but I was warned by another voice; "Do not turn! Do not turn! Do not!!!"
The former voice persisted such that I could not resist, so I turned.
When I did so, I saw gross darkness formed into the face of a beast.
It was Lucifer; the controller of the power of darkness.
With much haste, I turned my face back to track. It was at that moment that I lost my step and began to descend down into the pit.
I looked down and saw all kinds of sharp objects awaiting to receive my dead body.
But it was never to be so, a lady dressed in white descended ahead of me and I was suspended in her palms.
With the speed equal to light, she lifted me off the pit and said to me smiling; "go!" She walked me to the foot of the mountain and disappeared.
I began to climb, on and on and on and on and suddenly, hearing the sound of my own feet faintly, I woke up from my sleep to note that this was a vision.
Quickly, I was taught in my local assembly to document visions.
I wrote this down in details, capturing date and time.
When I was done, I closed the book thoughtfully, lay it off, entangled my feet together, shut off my eyes and began to meditate.
When the day had fully awaken from its slumber, I ran to my aunt whom I stayed with to explain the vision to me.
"Ah, David! you again with vision, okay, here is it; you have to focus, are you hearing what I'm saying? You have to focus on Jesus. You know you just give your life to Jesus, so many temptations would come your way but you have to focus and not allow distraction to cause you to turn back."
"Thank you aunty." I appreciated her, asked a few questions for clarification and ran back to my room feeling satisfied with what she had said.
But more catching was the sight of the people waiting for me at the other said of the mountain.
For a greater number of my years ahead, the sight would cause me restlessness as much as I could contain.
After my house chores for the day, I retired to have a quick rest and again, I began to have another vision.
This one was scary and almost caused me trauma.
I was standing outside the compound of my house when the ground opened about a meter apart me.
Armed demons began to crawl out in thousands and were running towards me.
They were shooting, throwing arrows and spear at me.
As I was about to run, a giant dragon with mighty wings and an injury on his forehead appeared on the sky and began to vomit fire.
I was in the middle of a battle unarmed and barehanded.
I was hearing terrible sounds of war-cry and swords crashing against themselves; fallen soldiers giving out their yells and the standing ones charging onto the battle front.
The neighs of horses and cries of eagles filled my ears, all of which were closing in on me faster than I could realize.
"Hahaha!! Small one" Lucifer called out to me "I am Lucifer, You are such a small lad entrusted with so much from the righteous one.
Look at you; humanity! mare mortal, infidel and weak mortals!!"
At this moment his voice became tensed and anger burned in his veins as he continued assaulting.
Bringing his staff, which was obviously a stiffened snake to my chin and lifting it, he mocked;
"Mare mortals! Chosen to take my place. Chosen! to sustain my defeat by the man of the cross. I am not done. I will fight and inflict pains over the entire human race. Even the chosen ones will not find it easy with me until I crush their strength and weaken their faith."
As Lucifer spoke to me, the firmament opened and a ray of light descended from it down to earth where I was brought to my knees.
The place shook causing the demons to tremble.
"What are you doing here Micheal?" Lucifer asked.
"I have come to remind you of the injury I inflicted on your forehead."
"Nooooo!!!!" No No! Do not remind me of it Micheal. You dethroned me of my place in heaven and brought me to eternal damnation. If I should see your Lord, I would cursed him to his face."
"You are too small for my Lord Lucifer. He is busy with preparation for his bride." Micheal replied.
When Micheal made mention of the wound on Lucifer's head, I couldn't imagine how furious he hated to hear it.
This reminded him of all that he lost when Micheal engaged him in battle.
"I vow to chase after this one until I destroy him. I will as well go after his brothers all around the coast of the earth region until I inflict vengeance upon them and humble them on their knees to worship me."
"You need not remind me Lucifer. I already know your mission. Your mission is one; to steal, kill and destroy. The chosen ones are already victorious." Micheal replied.
"Hahahah!!!!" Lucifer laughed mystically and flew away with the host of demons with him.
"David!" Micheal said to me "Do not be afraid. It is normal to fight as a soldier of the Lord. Whenever you stop fighting, something is wrong, but more so, it is abnormal to be defeated. I go now!"
"fsswwwww!!!!" The sound of Michael's disappearance.
"Thank you Micheal!" I said into the air.
"He does not deserves it." I heard another voice behind me.
"All thanks is onto God, maker of heaven and earth and to his son, Jesus Christ." He explained.
"I am the messenger of the Lord. I have been here since you were conceived. Now that you are enlisted into the army, I will be more visible to you."
"David! David!!" My aunty called disconnecting me from the vision.
I stood to my feet sweating and ran out to attend to her at the sitting room.
"Are you alright? why are you sweating like that?
"I was sleeping ma." I answered.
"And you are trembling too. Are you sure you are alright David?"
"Yes ma. I was in a fierce vision that's why.
"Haa, David, you and vision. Well, please get me something to eat." She sigh and instructed as I ran out to make the delivery.
December 20th 2022; twenty five years later, I would give account of my encounters on the battle field as a soldier of the cross.
