Chapter 2 - DESTINY BOX

A sign appeared in heaven. In the realm of the spirit, whenever such a sign appears, it means that it is time for battle.

It was a mighty bang of ball of light. As soon as it broke, the demon didn't wait. He started attacking furiously.

It was early Sunday morning_December 14th 1997.

"Brethren! It is testimony time, is there anybody here whom the Lord has blessed who wants to testify before the Congratulation?" Brother Kunle asked glaring his eyes and zooming into people's faces to strengthen their courage so they could testify.

A hand raised, another went up and the third fell on me.

"Church! put your hands together as they match forward to testify." He instructed smiling broadly.

The congregation clapped jubilantly as the platform was given for the two others to testify.

When it got to my turn, I collected the microphone and cleared my throat;

"Brethren, it is good to testify about the things the Lord has done for us, but mine isn't a physical testimony. It is a testimony of how the Lord gave me victory this early morning before coming to church."

"Yes, yes, that's correct." The congregants nodded in affirmation.

"I went to bed last night" I began "Early this morning when the day break, at around 5am, I came out of my room, it was a bit dark. As I was going to ease myself, I saw a rat ran out of the chicken coop. I went after it, pursued it and smashed it by the head.

I thought the rat was dead but then I began to feel it increasing under my foot.

shocked and surprised, I removed my foot and stepped aside. That was when the rat stood to it feet and began to grow."

"Ehhhh" The congregants shouted in shock as I continued.

"The rat grew and became mighty, taller than I, as huge as a rock with muscles all-over it body. I thought it was over but it kept growing until it turned into a giant demon."

"Ahhahaha!!! young one, I have come to eliminate you." the demon said.

I was afraid, very afraid, so much that I shrink to the ground.

Then noticed that I too began to grow. I increased in size and became almost mightier than him in height.

I saw the sky broke opened and a sword descended from it and entered my hand.

A sword appeared on the demon's hand as well.

A sign appeared in heaven. In the realm of the spirit, whenever such a sign appears, it means that it is time for battle.

It was a mighty bang of ball of light. As soon as it broke, the demon didn't wait. He started attacking furiously.

I didn't relent as I was now EMPOWERED and strengthened.

We engaged in a fierce battle of swords.

"Your end is here young one." He said.

"Why don't you keep quiet and fight me. proof it to me that you are capable of defeating me." I responded.

We continued fighting for a long time until the demon overpowered me and brought me to my knees.

I fell on my knees weak and despair.

"Surrender now! Or I will kill and destroy you." He warned

"No!!!" I yelled and rose to my feet, flew into the air and fell back upon the head of the demon, cut it off and slot the sword into his body.

He fell to the ground and disappeared.

I fell to the ground, struggled back to my feet and staggered, beckoning on my strength to be restored.

I turned to the right and saw a dry guava tree with another demon hanging on it with a golden box in his hands.

The moment I took a step to the tree, a force carried me to it and I began to battle the demon.

I tried severally to quote 'At the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee must bow' but it was not coming out. I tried and tried, saliva was coming out of my mouth and at same time losing Strength.

Finally I was able to say it. The moment I mentioned "Must bow," the demon disappeared and the destiny box landed into my hands.

I held the golden box which was made of gold. I had the awareness that this was the box containing my destiny which the enemy wanted to snatch and keep with him.

The box cannot be destroyed but can be stolen and hidden by the powers of darkness which was what I had just witnessed.

Since the day of my birth, the demon had hijacked my destiny which was contained in the box until this day when I took it from him."

The Congregants clapped their hands jubilantly as the church prayed for me and I retired back to my seat.

In the archives of the tribes of ink and pen, of which I soon became a part, it was permissive of us to chose dates and occasions of choice for us to communicate our tales to mortals in order to preserve reality till it due time.

My journey in faith began September 1997. I was in my room when the master of the host of heaven appeared before me and the beam of his rays permeated into my mortal body.

It was at the occasion that my eyes opened and i began to see.

After Church that day, I returned home, carried out my duties and had my food to eat. I spent three hours on the table, two and half of it reading and meditating upon the word of God while the remaining thirty minutes were spent on the food.

Since my encounter with the Lord, this had become my habit. I developed hatred for eating and sleeping, those which I did rarely, for survival sake.

Fasting had become a daily routine until it became an issue to those I aboard with as I was accused occasionally of witchcraft for so many reasons.

My life became weird to humanity as a result of the fearful and inhuman things I became fond of doing.

For the rest of my life, I would never forget the encounter of my destiny box as I became a mighty soldier in the army of the Lord.

This is my story, the tales of battles between light and darkness; the adventures of war between the cohorts of heaven and hell.

The struggle for destiny survival. My journey to hell, the abyss, the river of the lake, the battalions of demons sent to hijack the glorious of mankind.

The intervention of the host of angels, to rescue mankind - the journey to how Nam David, secured his destiny and defended his faith against the kingdom of hell.

"Life is spiritual. He who fights and wins spiritual battles is a victor in the realms of mortals and would rule over all things."
