I stretched my limps as I walked towards the wolves camp site. Frankly, I feel a little sick after that spider injected me with something when it stopped me from draining the wolf. I guess its poison must be a lot stronger that the air around here. Well, no harm no foul.
"YO, PACK! What's happening these days?" I greeted excitedly the wolves once I had arrived.
"Look who has finally decided to grace us with his presence?" Red ridiculed once he approached me.
" I'm not here for your minor insults, Red. Where's your brother?"
"Those are your first words after meeting the most powerful wolf in your pack? If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're glad to–hey! Don't ignore me!"
I surveyed the area and saw that the wolves had improved greatly with the boost of the essence they had earned during our last trip together. Most were already in the peak grade A stage with the rest in the middle ranks of that stage.
It looks like they are still in a deep sleep, even after all the time they had. Maybe raising a rank took a lot longer that I had anticipated. Red moved up beside me, looking pissed off but nonetheless knew when to shut his mouth if the need arises.
"He's in that cave if you are searching for him. But he's still not finished yet," he muttered.
I took my time around the wolves, leaving a few more beast essences for them to ingest and grow more powerful. We eventually came up to the cave.
"How is he still sleeping?" I asked Red once we arrived to his brother.
Murasaki looked much more different than I had left him. He seemed more grown up, around the size of his brother, his fur turned a dark purple with stripes running from his head downwards.
It also looks like he had acquired a sort of purple mane during his growth, and his face looked a little more pressured than I would have liked due to the stress of conversion.
"Transitioning to a higher level monster is not always easy, that's why he still hasn't regained consciousness. But from my point of view, he's growing into a different type of wolf, far from what I am," Red commented.
"Are there been any issues that have arisen since I left?"
"Nope. Seems like the monsters that usually came out from the dungeon eased off once the goblin king was killed. Except the occasional beasts around, it has been quite peaceful,"
"Good, that. I'll leave you pups to get stronger for now. Wouldn't want anyone to die on me during our first trip to the dungeon,"
I left Red with the rest of essences I had gathered and made my way around the planet. Bradley said that we had to visit somewhere he promised me.

[ So, where are we heading?]
[You mean to tell me the H shop is on this planet, with these terrible conditions?!]
[Now that insult was uncalled for. Anyways, why don't we just head over to the one on earth?] <*sigh* Dude, can I ask you a question?> [Fire away] [I'm not sure cause I'm not familiar with– wait a minute, was that a...?] [You know, I don't need mockery from a loser system that crushes on an invisible girl] [Oh? I'm I right?] <....> [Smooth. Changing the subject like that.] [Now if you had just said that without insulting me, we wouldn't have any issues now would we?] <....maybe> [So, about this girl–] ––– He's lucky he was right about arriving. Contrary to what I had imagined the shop would look like: a large mall-like house with large golden gates with a mighty 'H' printed firmly in the middle, it looked like any normal convenient store. It was so out of place with the dark clouds and red sand of Jupiter that it seemed unnatural. The battered down sign plastered on the front, which was a large rusty 'H', didn't give me a lot of confidence about this place. "Hello?" I whispered when I stepped into the shop through the dusty doors. Inside, it looked even more disappointing. The shelves were stacked with normal weapons, a few pills here and there, and a young man laying on the counter with a blue shirt with white stripes sleeping soundly. I cautiously walked up to the front. "Hey, sir?" I tapped on his shoulder to wake him up. "Mm... not now, Dan. No ones coming today either," he muttered. "Ah... I'm not so sure about this Dan fellow, but I'm here to purchase some things?" He raised his head slowly and I was almost taken aback by how handsome the guy looked. Even with drowsiness, I'm sure he would've pull up any girl in the world if he wanted to with those clear blue eyes and blonde hair completed with a sharp jawline with dimples to finish. His eyes cleared when he realized I was an unknown and he quickly rubbed his sleep off. "Welcome, Welcome! How can I help you today good sir?" he greeted cheerfully. I was still mesmerised by his face but quickly regained my composure. "Uh...just here to see what you guys got," I answered nervously. "Good! Good! Right this way," he beckoned me to a back door. "But before that, I have to ask, do you have gp coins for purchase? Protocol and all that," "Yes, of course," Bradley informed me not to mention how much I had exactly, to get a much more profitable purchase. He directed me around the back and I gasped at the sheer quality of all the weapons that were there. Now this looked more like a god's shop. Weapons of every kind were paraded on the shelves, their levels at an impossibly high class skill. The armor plates around looked like they'd give my adamantium spear a run for its money. And the sheer size of the shop itself, I couldn't even see the end of it! "Surprising isn't it? I'll suggest you inform me of what specific weapon you are in the market for, to save us some time. Though I'll have no problem if you stayed a little longer," "Not many people visit our shop in Jupiter. It gets awfully boring just standing there for centuries with no one visiting even to buy a dagger," he told me dejectedly. I raised an eyebrow in question but figured that he might be an immortal sales man. *** [Anything in particular on your mind, Bradley?] [OK then.] *** "I haven't quite catch your name yet, Mr... " "Philip. Call me Phil. So, what would you like?" "Got the means to contact a god?" His smile vanished from his face. He looked a bit shaken even. "W–who do you have in m–mind?" he stammered as he stared fearfully at me. What's wrong with him? Is it a crime to contact a god? Or I'm I missing something? "Can that info be a bit confidential?" "I–I see," Phil immediately went on his knees and began pleading. "Please don't report me to Hermes! I beg you! Punish me how you see fit for neglecting my duties but please, don't tell him I've been slacking on the job!" "Dude, what? Why would I need to contact that god?" He looked confused by my question. "So you were not gonna report me for sleeping? You know many disciples always report the attending for such mistakes. At least, that's what I've heard from my friends," he answered, confused. "Oh please. I'm not like the rest of them. Now, calm down and show me the method," I comforted him as I lifted him up. We'll just ignore the fact that he knows I'm a disciple. "Bless you child! Bless you. Though young, you might be one of the very few disciples who aren't arrogant. Anyways, let me show you where you can contact that god of yours," He led me further down the shop all the way showing me a few of the weapons on the shelves and mentioning their abilities and who would be more compatible with them. "...so, Mr. Randolf, that watch your wearing is also a personal favorite of mine," he continued as we turned a corner. "How do you know my name? Wait, more importantly, how did you know about my watch?!" "The initials on the watch are kinda visible, so I guessed that was your name. And that weapon your holding onto ain't bad either. It is probably around five hundred thousand gp points," "WHAT?!" I shouted flabbergasted. "Serious. Due to customer confidentiality, I can't tell you who purchased that weapon, but how in the world did it end up in your hands?" "I was just handed it by the government saying that it was a gift left by my parents. Before they left me of course." "Randoff, a word of advice, that guy that purchased this was by no means a deserter. So if he was your–ah... you know what, let's stop from there. Here you are," he said and pointed to a certain type of well. The guy just withdrew info about my parents. Wait, one of my parents was here?! Huh, at least I know they may still be alive, maybe. This minor deity might know a thing or two about them. Back to the shop, the well I was shown looked like any other normal well one would see. "Things about the contact Well you should know. You can't contact a premodial god nor one of the twelve olympians, you are granted five minutes on your call, and finally, don't try to come close to it. It can and will devour you if you do so," he warned. I gulped when I saw the dried blood around the well. Looks like it won't kill you easily either. "How does it work?" I asked. "You toss one gp point in the well and shout the god you wish to contact. Oh, forgot to mention, if you summon a god who's busy and probably pissed off about something or doesn't favour you, the shop will not be liable for your death." He said it with such an easy going attitude that I almost didn't that part about a god killing me. Almost. "Sorry, I can't tell you more about your parent due to rules, but I hope this will make up for it," he handed me a gold coin with gp initials on it. "Best of luck!" Phil quickly closed the door and left me staring at the murderous well. *** [Something dumb] [Girlfriend still–] [Good] *** "Oh wise carnivorous well, I summon the god Archeron, one of the rivers of the underworld!" I shouted and unceremoniously tossed the coin in the well.
