Chapter 19
Adira.
I sat down on the couch in my apartment with my legs stretched out on the table as I watched the Netflix series I had been watching.
Greg was sitting on the same couch with me but I made sure I maintained a distance between the both of us. He was staring at the TV but he look bored as hell.
My mum was in the kitchen making dinner, I offered to help but she refused because I was still recovering from the allergy attack. Greg also offered to help but she wouldn't let up.
Something about the way my mum always adored Greg and always treated him so specially annoyed me. I know he has done a lot of things for this family, but that doesn't mean, she has to do so much.
The episode I was watching ended and as the credits came up I skipped it and went to the next episode.
I noticed Greg move in his chair and hissed quietly.
"Isn't it over? Can we watch something else?" He suggested in a boring voice. Like I care, I internally rolled my eyes.
