The School Arena was getting heated up with each battle fought. But the spark was lit by Chlev and Nick's battle. It had been a great battle and also it was between two friends, which just added fuel to the fire.
The atmosphere of the Arena Ground was quite heavy. Even if it was indoors with air-conditioners all around, the audience as well as the fighters were feeling the heat of the battles.
"AND THE WINNER IS, THE GREAT THOMAS HOWARD OF CLASS 12A. FROM THIS VICTORY, THE PATH FOR THOMAS TOWARDS THE FINALS HAS ADVANCED ONE STEP AHEAD.", said the announcer.
Chlevern had been watching the fight since the very beginning. Thomas was not someone ordinary. He was powerful and careful at the same time. Also his attack delivered a lot of force, difficult to be handled by most. Some of the fighters handled his first attack but lost to the second blow. But most of them were defeated by his First attack itself.
Chlevern observed Thomas, his moves, his attacks, and from it he learnt one thing that never underestimate him or take his attack head-on. Chlevern had just one fight to win and he would be then going in the list of semi-finalists.
He looked at the screen to check his match-up for the next duel.
'Hmm, let's see who is my next opponent.', thought Chlevern while looking at the screen above him.

'Okay, so I am gonna fight someone named Trevor Marshall. I didn't see his fight, but if he reached till here, he must be impressive.', thought Chlevern.
*In the Arena Stadium*
"LADIES & GENTLEMEN, WE ADVANCE TOWARDS THE 30TH FIGHT OF THIS MARVELOUS ARENA, WHICH IS BETWEEN CHLEVERN NOLLAN, OF CLASS 11B AND TREVOR MARSHALL, OF CLASS 11D.", said the announcer.
Everyone was hyped up to see Chlevern fight again. After his intense 1v1 fight with Nicholas, he had been winning the fights without breaking a sweat.
'Can't believe that the school has been hiding such a talent', was everyone's thought at the moment.
"NOW, I REQUEST BOTH THE FIGHTERS TO COME IN THE STADIUM FOR THEIR FIGHT.
PLEASE GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR CHLEVERN NOLLAN AND TREVOR MARSHALL.", said the announcer.
Both Chlevern and Trevor entered the arena. All the eyes in the stands were on these two faces and both were looking at each other with a determined smile. Both of them then came to the center of the arena to shake hands and exchange some words of encouragement.
"So, you are the Chlevern Nollan, who had been the centre of attraction of everyone's eye. I look forward to a good fight with you, buddy.", said Trevor, with an encouraging and serious smile on his face.
"I look forward to a good fight with you too, let's give our best. All the best, dude.", said Chlevern.
"BOTH THE FIGHTERS, ALIGN YOURSELVES ON YOUR POSITION. YOU WILL START ON THE COUNT OF 3... 2... 1... FIGHT!", said the announcer.
Both Chlevern and Trevor started fighting. Their fight had just begun, but both of them had been delivering strong and heavy attacks right from the beginning . None of them wanted to miss the chance of fighting in the Semi-Finals and so they fought with all their might.
"You are pretty strong.", said Chlevern to Trevor, at a distance.
"Yes, you are strong too. I guess it's worth being able to fight this battle.", said Trevor.
Both started fighting again. There was a storm of punches and kicks and the energy they released was to a much greater extent.
Trevor had been fighting with not only strength but also showed some quick reactions which was just making Chlevern more excited.
Trevor then withdrew from his attack, and standing on a distance, said, "I think I have to activate my Magic power to have you on your knees.", said Trevor with an arrogant tone.
"I would like to see you try.", said Chlevern, not arrogantly but in a little provoking manner.
"I see, you'll pay for provoking me.", said Trevor, approaching Chlevern at a much faster pace.
"I've already heard these warnings a million times.", said Chlevern ready to dodge. But then, he felt his legs held in place by a heavy force. He was unable to move and thought as if a weight of a thousand kilograms had been tied to his legs.
"You like it? This is my ability, 'Chained by Gravity', you cannot move an inch until I undo the ability on your legs. Now be ready for a heavy punch!", said Trevor, with a grin.
Chlevern was not able to lift his legs up. He tried hard to break free from it for a while but then the screen popped in front of him.

Off went the screen. Chlevern now felt his body too light and he was now able to move his legs. Before Trevor could punch him, he jumped in the air and floated for a while. Trevor was surprised to see him break his, Chained by Gravity's strong bind. He withdrew his punch and looked at Chlevern, who was floating in mid-air.
'Phewww, That was a close call.'
"I don't know how you did that, but now I will not let you go back in one piece!!", shouted Trevor.
"I thought I was bind by a thousands of kilograms of weight. You are strong.", said Chlevern, floating in mid-air.
"I know I am strong, and so you are gonna feel my wrath.
YOU ARE GOING DOWN!"
Trevor suddenly lifted his hand in air with his palm facing towards Chlevern. Then with a huge force he pulled his hand down which led to Chlevern being pulled down by extreme gravitational pull.
Chlevern felt that it was Trevor's plan to crash him down with the help of his ability and dig him into the ground. Then again, Chlevern saw the screen in front of him.

"Yes, I want to!", said Chlevern while being pulled down.
After Chlevern accepted to use the ability, Backfire, the effect of Trevor's, The Extreme Pull of Gravity ability was cancelled for Chlevern and it was affecting Trevor now. This saved Chlevern from crashing on ground and getting crushed. Chlevern thought it was successful but it was not so. Suddenly Trevor broke through the bind of his ability. Suddenly the screen popped up in front of Chlevern again.

When Chlevern landed on ground safely, Trevor banged his fists on ground creating a shockwave of gravity causing a small earthquake. Chlevern jumped to avoid its effects but then he was attacked by rocks from the ground by Trevor who threw them with the help of his ability.
"Hahaha! How do you like my skill? Are you scared Mr. Nollan?", said Trevor with an evil grin.
Chlevern was now too sure that if he did not activate his skills he would probably lose. He then said with a heavy voice, "Activate Skill BloodBath!".

"Okay.", said Chlevern with a determined look to defeat Trevor.
"I have to do something about you.", said Chlevern, in a provoking manner.
"Haha! So you finally decide to fight? Bad choice, as you won't last long.", with that said, Trevor sent another rock, a big one this time, flying towards Chlevern's direction. But something did not feel right. Instead, Trevor saw that the rock which was thrown at Chlevern had been broken to bits by his single punch and his shadow was much darker, with his eyes glowing with a dark shade of Red.
"How the fuck is this possible?!!!, the rock was not only big, but the force with which I threw it was enough to break a building? How can you break it with a single punch?", exclaimed Trevor with shock and his arrogance shattering a little bit.
Chlevern could not expose his skills. Instead, he gives an excuse saying, "It's a scientific principle of Physics. If you change the direction of the thing coming towards you at a great force by adding some strength, the force increases to a greater extent. Just like when you hit a ball with a bat with some strength to make it go far towards the boundary.".
'I am not sure if he is going to buy the thing I just said. Even I don't know what the fuck is this reason?', thought Chlevern sweatdropping.
"But still! It is not possible!", shouted Trevor.
"Everything is possible when luck favours you.", whispered Chlevern to Trevor after approaching him a speed, normal eyes cannot trace.
"How did you-",
BANG!
Trevor tried speaking but was smashed into the ground with Chlevern's hand covering his face, preventing him from saying anything further.
"Do you admit defeat now?", asked Chlevern looking at Trevor with his head buried in the ground.
"I.. I lost.", said Trevor, admitting his defeat.
"THIS WAS INDEED A GREAT MATCH TOO, AND THE WINNER IS CHLEVERN NOLLAN FROM CLASS 11B.", said the announcer.
Trevor was trying to stand up, but then he saw Chlevern offering his hand to help him get on his legs.
"Hey dude, it's ok. You gave me a tough fight. Come on get up now.", said Chlevern with a smile.
"Thank you dude.", said Trevor, getting up with the help of Chlevern's hand.
"But you defeated me. Your strength is amazing. I wish you luck for your next matches.", said Trevor, returning the smile back to Chlevern.
"Thank you bro. Ok I have to leave now. Bye", said Chlevern before leaving the ground.
But as soon as Chlevern, turned his back to leave, Trevor called him from behind.
"Hey, can we at least be friends?", said Trevor without a bit of arrogance.
"Sure thing, a good friend always comes in needy.", said Chlevern turning back again and shaking hands with Trevor as a sign of friendship and sportsmanship.
He then turned back and started leaving with a thought in his mind.
'I have a new friend now.'
