Chlevern and Kingspeare were sitting in their grand ride, while travelling to the Ballroom of Supremes. It was moving way too fast, but still Chlevern could see the millions and billions of stars, blackholes, quasars, nebulae, etc, outside the window. His vision seemed to be the same as when he used to gaze out of the window in his mom's car, whenever they went for a long drive when she came to meet her son.
"Excuse me Mr. Kingspeare, aren't we moving too fast?", asked Chlevern.
"Indeed we are, probably we are at a speed of 100 light years/hour.", said Kingspeare very casually.
Chlevern however was going to faint from the value of the speed, but he somehow managed to pull himself together.
"So, if we are travelling at such a high speed, then why am I able to see the outside view as normal as it is?", Chlevern raised his doubt.
"This is not just any ordinary ride. This car was made by some of the finest architects and designers with unique and highly technological properties. This technology is kind of similar to what aeroplanes on Earth have. Like in an aeroplane, even if the outside pressure conditions are too low, inside they are maintained to be at ground level, as the pressure which is normally there on ground. Similarly, in this car, even if we travel at high speeds, the ones sitting inside will feel the conditions normal.", explained Kingspeare.
"Wait, you mean architects and designers made this car? Don't you mean engineers made it?", asked Chlevern.
"Engineering, is the field of study which was developed in the human world. But since olden times, the developers of such machines were known as designers or architects. Engineers is just a term for architects and designers.", said Kingspeare.
"Wait, and you also know about the aeroplanes and the mechanism of it?", asked Chlevern.
"Absolutely. I had already told you that I had been watching the Earth develop at a quick pace and plus the knowledge of science was passed down by us, The Gods. And I, being both, the Progenitor and God, have given you all knowledge of science and technology since the start.", said Kingspeare.
"So why do I always get a bad score in science, when it was passed down to me by you, The Progenitor himself?", asked Chlevern.
"The fact that I passed down knowledge does not mean that I have given you everything from the start. You have to work on it and upgrade your intelligence. Even if I place a feast of the greatest delicacies in front of you, can you savour them if you don't lift up the fork?", said Kingspeare.
"Guess you are right.", said Chlevern.
"But don't worry, after you become my successor and gain my powers, my intelligence and knowledge will automatically pass down to you as well. But you will not have complete control of full power. You will have to upgrade and level it up, step by step.", said Kingspeare.
"Okay, I understand. By the way how much time is left for us to reach, the Ballroom of Supremes?", asked Chlevern, looking out of the window again.
"Maybe 10 more minutes.", said Kingspeare looking outside.
"I can tell, it's just not that far away. I can see the Ballroom of Supremes from a distance.", said Kingspeare looking out of the window.
Chlevern looked outside the window and tried looking for the Ballroom of Supremes, but he did not see anything other than a dark space filled with stars and bright bands of dust.
"Excuse me, Mr. Kingspeare, like you said you can see the Ballroom of Supremes, why can I not see it then?", asked Chlevern.
"That is because the power of my vision is highly complex. I can view the tiniest detail with a clear vision and I can also zoom in and zoom out my vision far many times more than the most hi-tech cameras on Earth. That is why when I zoomed a distance of about 100 light years, I was able to see the Ballroom of Supremes.", said Kingspeare.
"Ohh so that's the case.", said Chlevern, looking like a shocked baby.
"Hey, Adonis, how much more time will we take.", asked Kingspeare to his driver.
"We will be there in 10 quints, My Lord.", said Adonis.
Chlevern was confused at this. He had no idea what quints was. It was like a totally new thing for him.
"Mr. Kingspeare, what is Quints?", Chlevern raised his doubt.
"Quints is the unit of time we use in Bright Clouds of Heaven. It is same as seconds on Earth.", said Kingspeare.
"Hmmm m...", said Chlevern.
Chlevern started counting 10 seconds in his mind and as soon as he counted 0, they had stopped in front of the Great Ballroom of Supremes.
'I guess that's how this is.', thought Chlevern looking at the grand sight before him while exiting from the ride.
Kingspeare exited from the car too and stood beside Chlevern.
"Shall we go in?", asked Kingspeare.
"Yeah sure.", said Chlevern with an assuring smile.
'He does not know about 'HIM' yet. But at any cost I will have to protect my successor.', thought Kingspeare.
They both proceeded towards the entrance, where they were stopped by the guards.
"Sir, may I see your ID and invitation please?", asked one of the guards.
"Yes sure here it is..", said Kingspeare.
Suddenly a screen popped in front of them. It said,
[NAME: KINGSPEARE FREDINANCH
AGE: UNKNOWN
RANK: FRAGMENT OF GREAT SIP OF RECREATION, GOD, PROGENITOR]
".... And this is the invitation.", said Kingspeare.
The guard looked at the ID and the invitation and said bowing down towards them,
"Pardon my disrespect Lord Kingspeare. You may go in."
They both entered the Ballroom of Supremes, where they saw many noble clans in beautiful suits, drinking and chatting. There were some pretty girls too who looked beautiful in their dresses. They were the same age as Chlevern but still he did not simp on them.
When they went inside, they saw some people waving at them. Chlevern and Kingspeare approached them and they seemed to be friends of Kingspeare from other noble clans.
"Hey, hello Kingspeare, long time no see my friend.", said the first man.
He was a tall man, who looked like a middle-aged man but was way too young. He was just a few milennia younger than Kingspeare. But he looked older than Kingspeare. The difference in age was not that much for them. It was like the age difference of a year on Earth.
"Yes, long time no see, Zecharia.", said Kingspeare.
His name was Zecharia Dukeworth. He was the leader of the The Gods of War Clan. He was quite tall and looked extremely powerful.
Chlevern could literally see power overflowing from his aura.
"Hey, Mr. Kingspeare, may can you excuse me for a minute?", asked Chlevern interupting the conversation of the two men, sorry, Gods.
"Gentlemen, just a minute", said Kingspeare before leaning towards Chlevern.
"what is it?", asked Kingspeare, in a low voice.
"I can see that this Mr. Zecharia is very powerful, is he stronger than you? As I can see power overflowing from his aura.", asked Chlevern.
"Yeah I agree that he is strong, but he is weaker than me. The Powers of the 'GREAT SIP OF RECREATION', are far more superior. You can see his power overflowing as he has no limiter for his strength. Whereas I have to set a limit for my power so that I don't destroy this entire universe, if the power goes berserk.", said Kingspeare.
Chlevern believed him and they both went back to the place where Zecharia Dukeworth and his disciples were standing.
"Sorry for suddenly leaving the conversation. Actually, my disciple here was a little nervous and so I went to assure him.", said Kingspeare pointing towards Chlevern.
"Oh no problem Kingspeare. By the way, let me introduce you both to my disciple, Kraiven Dragoqin. He is the strongest of my disciples.", said Zecharia pointing towards Kraiven.
"I will introduce my disciple too. This is Chlevern Nollan. He is my new disciple but he is aiming to be the strongest of all.", said Kingspeare pointing towards Chlevern.
"Nice to meet you friend.", said Kraiven, extending his hand for a handshake.
"Yes, nice to meet you too.", said Chlevern shaking hands with Kraiven, with a firm handshake.
Kingspeare and Zecharia watched happily, their disciples getting along well.
Then suddenly the lights in the room dimmed and the spotlight was focused on the stage where 'HE' was standing.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen. I express my gratitude to you all for attending my party. I hope you all enjoy it.", HE said, gaining praises from the crowd.
"hmm, excuse me Mr. Kingspeare, who is he?", asked Chlevern.
"He is Artendo Sadistor, The King of Dark Dungeon of Hell Clan. One of the fragments of the 'GREAT SIP OF RECREATION', the strongest demon and the organiser of this party.", said Kingspeare.
'So he is the one who made Mr. Kingspeare worried.', thought Chlevern. Surprisingly his thoughts were not heard by anyone, even when all were supreme beings.
Artendo descended from the stage and looked around at the guests. Suddenly his eyes saw Kingspeare and Chlevern, chatting with Zecharia and his disciple.
'So he is the new disciple of Kingspeare.', thought Artendo.
He motioned towards the direction of Chlevern and Kingspeare along with his disciples.
When he approached them, he said,
"Well what do we have hear? It's Kingspeare with his disciple.", said Artendo with a smile.
Kingspeare and all turned their gazes to see Artendo. They turned towards him and they met each other.
"Let me introduce myself, I am Artendo Sadistor, the King of Dark Dungeon of Hell Clan, the strongest demon king and here's my disciples behind me.", said Artendo.
"Nice to meet you, Art.", said Zecharia with a wine glass in his hand.
"What about you? will you not wish me?", asked Artendo, turning towards Kingspeare.
"Whatever..... Nice to meet you.", said Kingspeare.
"That's how it is, rude as always. And what about you, young man?", he said turning towards Chlevern.
"Hello, my name is Chlevern Nollan. I am the disciple of Mr. Kingspeare Fredinanch.", said Chlevern.
"Chlevern huh? What a beautiful name, I wish I had someone as good as you as my disciple.", said Artendo smiling towards him.
Chlevern could feel it was an over exaggerating reaction.
'Here he goes again.', thought Kingspeare.
"Hey let me introduce you to my disciples.", said Artendo, pointing towards his disciples.
Artendo's disciples were all females. They were young, beautiful girls, with a cold look on their faces. There were 5 of them.
"Girls, shouldn't you all introduce yourselves? Did I not teach you manners?", said Artendo, looking at the girls with a smile.
"Yes Master!", they all said in unison.
All five of the girls looked at Chlevern and Kraiven and started their introduction.
"Hello, my name is Cressida De'Lava."
"Hello, my name is Jasame Lavendara"
"Hello, my name is Kurashiki Ayaka."
"Hello, my name is Chu Kan-Ha."
"Hello, my name is Liu Chao"
They all introduce with a neutral expression on their faces.
'Aren't they too cold-hearted?', thought Chlevern, sweatdropping.
"Hey bro, listen.", whispered Kraiven to Chlevern.
"Yes what is it?", asked Chlevern.
"Aren't those girls pretty and cute? How do you like? Should I arrange myself?", asked Kraiven.
'I have found another Nick here.', sighed Chlevern.
"I don't know, you can try if you wish to.", Chlevern whispered back.
"Okay then, I will try starting a conversation with each one, after the party.", said Kraiven.
"If you gentlemen would excuse me, I would like to ask Mr. Chlevern a question.", said Artendo.
"Yes what is it?", asked Chlevern.
"So, Mr. Chlevern. Would you like to be my disciple?", asked Artendo, straight.
Chlevern was took back by this question.
"What! this is too sudden. Why are you asking me this? I am already Mr. Kingspeare's disciple.", said Chlevern shocked.
Kingspeare knew everything from the start. Kingspeare has raised truly magnificent and strong disciples from the start than any other clan did. So, Artendo was always jealous of him. So to quench his jealousy, he started brainwashing Kingspeare's disciples to become his disciples by offering them countless power, wealth and fame. And unfortunately many greedy but worthy disciples landed under Artendo. But after they became Artendo's disciples, he used them like a thing. He made them work, he made them fight wars to expand his kingdom, and used the female disciples as his playthings.
Goddess Aphrodite, the Goddess of Lust and Love, was once one of the strongest female disciples of Kingspeare. Artendo tried to lure her but she denied and continued being Kingspeare's disciples. Even the Queen of Succubi, the Sex Demon was Kingspeare's disciple, but she was not as wise as Aphrodite, her sister. She was easily lured by Artendo and was made his disciple. But when she realised her mistake, it was too late to turn back.
"I can tell that you are strong. I can give you anything you wish and anything you desire, wealth, power, girls, anything you want.", said Artendo, trying to lure Chlevern.
"Aslo you can have any of these 5 girls, if you be my disciple. Young boy, make a wise choice.", said Artendo, making all the 5 girls shocked at what their master was saying.
'Haha, young boys are easily lured when offered a girl, he will not reject such tempting offer.', thought Artendo.
But to his and everyone's surprise, Chlevern said firmly,
"I refuse. Even if you can give me anything I desire, it cannot fulfill my needs to become a worthy person. And talking about the girls, if I wanted to I would've easily accepted your offer, if I was a greedy boy. But I would never let any girl lose her respect and dignity for my desires.".
This really touched all the girls standing there. They had never been respected or said something like this in their life. They were among the strongest and the most beautiful of Artendo's current disciples. So, every boy disciple talked about how they would be as strong as them and persue them. But no one talked about their dignity. This was the first time any boy refused an offer like this. They had seen many boys becoming Artendo's disciples by means of greed and lust. But this one was different. They wanted to know more about this boy.
"Very well, now that you've rejected my offer, I will make sure to repay this rejection.", said Artendo with a plain smile and left. The girls stood there with their heads down thinking about Chlevern's lines again and again, but then they heard their master's sharp voice.
"Hey girls, aren't you'll going to come?"
They all shook themselves and followed back their master.
'I think more dangers await me in the future.', thought Chlevern dropping a cold sweat.
'I supposed it to be good, but it was not so good one.', thought Chlevern again, seeing them leave.
The End
