[Within the pitch-black Palace located at De'rath, the continent of the Dead]
A pale-skinned man with a black-colored crown had been currently settled on his giant throne.
"The Demise of Lebradour had finally come." the lich whispered silently.
The said entity was the present ruler of the whole De'rath continent, his name was Abbadon.
"Xerex, please summon all the twelve retainers as soon as possible, I have to privately discuss some confidential information with them right at this moment." Abbadon commanded the vampire butler that had been stationed beside him.
"Yes, Overlord" the butler replied to the Lich's command.
"The disaster needs to be purged as soon as possible. I would never let them succeed in conquering Lebradour!" Abbadon's thoughts.
"I can only hope that my decisions were not too late." He added.
[Back to the "Flaming Ember" carriage]
"We're getting near, we can't afford to lose this battle!" Rubia stated in front of her members while tightly holding the hilt of her crimson sword.
After five minutes of traveling, the "Flaming Ember" members can finally see where the chilling aura came from.
They can see a moving Bone Dragon covered in a thick black aura and it also releases an extravagant amount of disturbing energy that gave "Flaming Ember" members an extraordinary goosebump.
Grandell cannot seem to fathom the existing entity in front of them, and it also gave him a very terrible headache that causes him to nearly passed out.
Fortunately, Tom had given him "Goddess Grace" which can temporarily ignore the negative status effect that had been affecting him.
"How can we fight something like that?" Grandell's reaction to the monster in front of them.
The Bone dragon's length was almost thirty meters and it was as tall as a three-story building.
"We don't have any other choice Grandell, the citizen within the Za'astaroz village will be completely obliterated by this monster. My family was also in that village, I cannot risk their lives because of my incompetence." Yusoph replied to what Grandell had said.
"Yes, I completely agreed with Yusoph on this one!" Rubia supported Yusoph.
"They are right Grandell, the Goddess also sided with their opinion." Tom surprisingly replied.
All of them were quite shocked at those words that came out of Tom's mouth.
"Running was never an option for me, I found my true purpose in life when I became part of this Mercenary Group, and it is to protect all of you, even if it cost my life." Dea said to her colleagues.
All of them were quite touched by what Dea had told to them.
"Flaming Ember, this is a do-or-die situation, please take care of yourselves while fighting this almost unstoppable force." Rubia declared.
"Let us show our full power against this bone dragon!" Rubia shouted these words.
"LET'S BEGIN!!" all the Flame Ember said in unison.
Tom granted powerful buffs to his allies like "Goddess Grace!" "Goddess Blessings!" "Goddess Favor!" and "Goddess Haste!" consecutively.
"Goddess Grace" is a sixth-tier holy magic spell that can negate almost all negative status effects that can affect them.
"Goddess Blessings" is a fifth-tier holy magic that temporarily raises the affected individual's defense, and this is more beneficial to Dea.
"Goddess Favor" is a sixth-tier holy magic that helps the affected individual raises their attack potency on the enemy that they selected as their target.
"Goddess Haste" is a fourth-tier holy magic that enhances the movement speed of the affected individual temporarily, Grandell and Rubia mostly benefit from this holy magic that Tom had granted to them.
Yusoph raised his magic staff which had a white orb at the tip of it and said "Domain of Magic!" sequenced by one strong smash on the end of his magic staff at the ground.
A powerful elemental domain quickly expanded with maximum coverage of around fifty meters.
"Domain of Magic" is a sixth-tier magic spell under the category of buffing spells, it enhances the magic attack potency of the caster.
The Bone Dragon finally saw them because of the "Domain of Magic" that also had covered it.
The Bone Dragon opened its mouth and released a very unique and powerful "Dragon Breath" that decomposes everything it passes.
The "Dragon Breath" was indeed a very powerful attack that was almost comparable to a seventh-tier magic spell.
The "Flaming Ember" members were also quite dumbfounded at the sudden Breath attack of the Bone Dragon.
Dea did not think twice, she hurriedly raised her huge metallic shield and shouted "Shield's almighty defense!", her shield expanded and makes a motion of covering the "Flaming Ember" members like a temporary shelter against the attack.
Yusoph saw this and he also casts the utilized version of "Mana Barrier".
"Mana Barrier" was naturally a fourth-tier defense magic with a round coverage but he utilizes its defensive capabilities which resulted in an arching shape with compressed mana, now it possesses a defensive strength comparable to a fifth-tier defense magic, and it was also positioned ahead of Dea's defensive shield.
The Dragon Breath hits the utilized version of the "Mana Barrier" by Yusoph and it was immediately destroyed.
Yusoph felt the shattering of his "Mana Barrier" and was lightly thrown on the ground which was caused by the impact of Dragon's Breath on his spell.
Luckily the strength of the "Dragon Breath" was slightly reduced before it reaches Dea's "Shield's almighty defense" but of course, it was a continuous attack by the Bone Dragon so it immediately went back to its original attack potency.
A clear struggle can be seen on Dea's face and a huge bead of sweat started to reveal on her forehead. Tom saw this and he immediately granted "Goddess Vitality" to Dea.
Dea can feel her body's stamina going back to its prime caused by Tom's Holy magic, wherein she continued to endure the Dragon's Breath destructive force.
"Yusoph! use some spell that can stop the Bone Dragon from continuously releasing a Dragon Breath. I am almost at my limit again!" Dea shouted to Yusoph who had been on the ground just recently.
"I'm sorry Dea, I was surprisingly knocked back by that Dragon's Breath!" Yusoph replied to Dea.
Yusoph immediately stands up from the ground and casted "Heaven's Wrath!", a cumulonimbus cloud started to immediately appear above the Bone Dragon and released multiple lightning strikes that targets the Bone Dragon.
Each lightning strike was enhanced by the "Domain of Magic" that he casted earlier, and Tom's "Goddess Favor" buffs which temporarily enhances its attack effectiveness.
