Steven walked into the office panting like he had just finished a marathon and said, "Boss, there is some important news for you."
Fixing his sleeves in a dapper Tuxedo suit, the man turned away from Steven, his manager.
"What happened to make you sweat like a donkey," -his boss said. His dark, velvety voice was enough to make anyone shiver as he hissed.
His voice and eyes were sufficient. a man shudders. To find out why he had been expelled from his home and thrown on the streets to beg at a young age, he was searching for the previous thread.
To know what was his mistake!
Why did they let their kid eat the trash can leftovers by the road? Why they had abandoned him?
Now he wants to know the reason why he was treated like a trash piece.
Steven lowered his head and inhaled deeply before speaking the truth. He feared that he may provoke his boss' wrath.
"The chances of Lord Osric surviving are extremely slim. He is in a coma," Steven spoke quickly and with all of his courage.
As soon as the BOSS heard it, his face grew pale. Lord Osric can't pass away without responding to him, which is his last chance.
"I'll keep him safe,"
(HOUSE OF LORD OSRIC)
Because the family's lord was still very ill, everyone gathered in a room of a villa owned by the Lucius family and appeared anxious.
They patiently awaited as they observed Alphonse, one of the top healthcare experts in their community, treat their lord.
The doctor paused as one of the family's attendants said, "How is Lord Osric doing?"
Alphonse laid the tools on the table after first wiping his sweat.
He gave a headshake. "Very bad. I've tried everything, but I still can't figure it out. The
Lord's health. I'm unable to change the situation at this point."
When they learned the doctor had bad news, everyone began murmuring.
Does this imply that Lord Osric won't awaken ever again?
How long will the villa last?
"Who will succeed him?"
The entire villa might be destroyed if we don't have a leader, thus it can't be.
"Where will the wealth of Lucius go?"
Because of this, the siblings all exchanged confused glances with one another. The family's eldest son had a thought.
The eldest son of the family, I... Cole Lucius, will replace him to lead you all, Cole said. "Please calm down everyone, we will make sure that Lord Osric will wake up and everything will be fine," Cole said.
A man entered the residence in the meantime. He quietly knocked on the door before stopping, but no one answered or opened.
"I'm curious, where is everyone." said Aiden.
He wrenched the door open after a short while and entered the lobby, but there was no one there.
"Strange," he thought, so he decided to circle the entire room. However, nothing happened.
"I suppose nobody is present, huh?"
Aiden had no choice but to go after scanning the entire first floor, but just as he was ready to depart, he remembered something.
He abruptly heard sounds coming from the room on the second floor at the same moment. After hearing some conversations, he listened for a few more noises to confirm before grinning.
When he arrived, he found the individuals in the foyer whom he had anticipated meeting. When everyone turned to look at Aiden, the worry on their faces instantly disappeared.
The Lord's eldest son questioned, "Who are you?How did you end up here, sir?"
Aiden simply gave him a quick glance before focusing on the doctor standing next to the Lord. He began to make his way through the crowd to the doctor's office.
"What happened to the Lord?" Suddenly, he inquired.
Alphonse trembled and felt uneasy "He is suffering from a deadly disease, and it's been a while since he last woke up. I've already exhausted every option." Aiden simply nodded before walking over to the Lord.
"Hey, what the heck are you doing?" Cole spoke out loud.
Aiden did not respond to him once more and kept examining Lord Osric's entire body while he slept.
"Who are you, and what are you doing to Lord Osric, please explain?" The doctor quietly questioned him, appearing to be shocked.
But Aiden didn't respond either; instead, he inhaled the lord's face before turning back to face the physician.
"W-Why?" Alphonse was adamant.
Aiden simply turned to face the snide people in the room who were observing him. When Cole abruptly punched Aiden, who was unaware, everyone was taken aback.
"Cole!" Felicia, another of Lord Osric's daughters, started yelling at him.
"Who are you, and what gives you the right to approach our dead father? You've never heard of the word respect?" Cole yelled at Aiden as he lay on the ground.
Aiden rose up after silently wiping his blood from the side of his lips.
Cole, who is now furious, is facing him. "As you can see, I am knowledgeable about the medical industry. Regarding having rights, too... I have the right to file a lawsuit against you for striking me without cause."
"Why—you!"
Aiden turned his back on Cole as he prepared to punch him once again and turned to face the perplexed doctor.
"I came here to mend something, but I didn't anticipate this kind of situation to take place. I apologise for interrupting; I was unaware that Lord Osric was unconscious," After apologising, he turned to face the crowd.
"And yet... Why are you all here, I wonder? Are you genuinely concerned for him? Or do you simply want Lord Osric's potential inheritance after you confirm that he won't awaken again?"
"You bast**d stranger, what the heck are you saying?" Cole shouted.
"Let's be honest here. I'm aware that some of the attendees may be seriously concerned about Lord Osric, but let's face it, some of them are also probably just intrigued about the money."
This time it was Felicia who said, "How dare you slander the people of Lord Osric, they are here because our father is dear and vital to them."
As he grinned. "Just facts, please. the sight of everybody's faces? I am already aware of their thoughts."
They all remained silent.
Aiden has a point, which cannot be disputed, but no one has been found guilty of confessing their genuine motives.
"I apologise, Mr. I understand that your main concern is for our family, but leave everything in our hands. I've already told you to leave since you've been making difficulty," Lady Irish remarked the wife of Lord Osric.
They all agreed right away.
"Yes! How did that One get here?"
"Pull That One Off!"
He should just go, he has nothing to do with the Lucius clan.
It's not what it claims to be,
Aiden ignored the commotion that the entire room was making once more. He simply gave Lady Irish, who was now in front of him, a disapproving glance.
Aiden nodded, which shocked Lady Irish.
"Hmm, I see your argument," said Aiden.
" I'm sorry to let you down, but I won't be leaving until I speak with Lord Osric."
Cole sank once more.
"Can't you see? Why can't you see that Our father's illness is the reason he is unconscious?"
Aiden said, "You're wrong about that."
What do you mean, Felicia questioned.
They received a heartfelt smile from Aiden.
"Lord Osric is not ill. I can demonstrate that he does not have a serious sickness because I attentively observed him previously, therefore I am confident in that," He clarified.
"But then, after a few hours, why is the Lord still unconscious?" questioned Alphonse with furrowed eyebrows.
"I believed you to be a doctor?" Aiden questioned Alphonse, who appears to be aware of what is going on.
"Oh, I get it. I assume you are aware of the real cause. You simply avoid saying it." Aiden answer caught off guard Alphonse.
"What are you talking about, exactly?" Alphonse stammered a question.
With delight, Aiden replied.
"Lord Osric was "poisoned," which is why he is unconscious."
