...I was transported into this new world, I don't exactly know why, but it is a far better life than the one I've had before this, so I'm grateful for it. But the fact that I'm being treated like a dumb baby just irritates me. Like..."WHY CAN'T MY NEW PARENTS JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!"
They've been hugging me for hours on end without a single rest and it's tiring, I'm begging you guys, please stop! It's not fair if you're the only one who gets to have fun. I want to have fun to! I want to rest! But so far they've just been carrying me everywhere around this massive palace, I think it's safe to say that one could get lost within these corridors easily and that's not a good thing, let's just hope that by the time I'm able to walk, I would already memorise the whole area. For now, let's focus on current situation. Let me think...Ooh! I got one!
"Maybe I should just try and start crying? Maybe that way they'll know to place me back at the cradle and let me rest!" I thought of this so-called 'Brilliant Plan' of mine. Hoping that it'll work.
Let's try it then!
"WAAAAAA! WAAAA! WAAA!" I now began crying, the tears were now overflowing my face and I began snorting.
SNORT!
"WAAAAA!!" As I continued crying soon after.
"Oh? It seems like our little one is tired, perhaps you would like some rest?" Queen Rosa now said with her elegant voice.
Through this she proceeded to bring me back to the cradle room that I was in before, and she softly and gently placed me back inside the cradle and even tucked me in bed, how nice of her to do that! This was honestly a new experience for me, considering that before this, in the life that I had before I came here, when I was a child, even my own mother didn't bother tucking me in bed and not once did she even say that she loved me, her own child, her own flesh and blood. This new life was different, different from what I had before, it's like god decided to give me a present after I've suffered for so long.

As the time went on, as each day passes, and as years go by. I keep learning something new everyday. For example, my now so-called new father is actually the King of this prestigious Kingdom. I've come to learn that this Kingdom is called 'The Great Kingdom of Elysium'. A Nation that resides towards the Eastern Coast of the ocean. Additionally, there exists only 7 nations in this whole world, unlike my past life, where dozens of countries existed. To add on, 'magic power' or just simply 'magic' exists in this world, and each of them have their own sub-classes such as 'Internal Magic User' or 'External Magic User', these sub-classes all have different way of usage.
Furthermore, the currency here, is abit...complicated? Well to me it is; There exist a currency called 'Yul', which is essentially like a coin, and it has 5 different types with different conversion rate for each; To show;
100 Bronze Yul = 1 Steel Yul
100 Steel Yul = 1 Shining Yul
100 Shining Yul = 1 Platinum Yul
100 Platinum Yul = 1 Noble Yul
Bronze Yul was considered the lowest form of currency whilst a singular Noble Yul was considered to be the highest.
Moving on.
This world isn't the same one that I was in before, in this world bandits, thiefs and warriors are a constant and common existence and they usually bother people who cross their territories or path, mostly asking for the bypassers for a price toll or precious items and trinkets. They usually reside in the mountains or areas where there aren't much people.
War between Kingdoms also exist, but they aren't that common. Each Kingdoms have their own respected region with either Kings or Queens leading the nation. These Kings and Queens aren't the ones who just sit at their thrones, enjoying a life of luxury with no worries and servants to serve them, no. These Kings and Queens are the ones that would die for their nation if it ever comes to it, they go into battle, leading their garrisons and cavalry in defeating their enemy. They are the ones who are considered 'Heroes' as only the strongest of the strong can become a leader.
So to also infer, I would expect my father, King Schweizer to be insanely strong aswell.
But enough of that. I was mostly intrigued in this world's magic, considering that I didn't have that kind of thing before this. They say that, one could split mountains easily just by mastering 'Sword Aura', or one could sever the seas only using magic alone. Had I not been reborned into this world, I would've just thought of those as some kind of theories that were made by a crazed mad man. I wanted to learn more about magic, so I resorted to reading books. Alas, my enemy has come before me again. I've always hated reading, this is solely due to the fact that my daily life before this was just reading paperwork before doing them. Though, to read, I would need a book, and to get a book, I would need either a book store or a library. But fortunately for me, this palace has a large library within it with a variety of selection of books.
So I headed towards the library that was held within the palace walls.
Upon arriving, I was in awe to see that I had down-played and underestimated the size of the library. It was massive, large enough to hold millions of people inside. Its walls were covered with marble material, its pillars were coated with gold and even the door entrance was huge!
Though, the real trouble now came, how the hell am I suppose to find a book about magic in such a massive place? Would the librarians there be able to help me? It wouldn't hurt to try now would it?
Let's do it.
I now took a deep breath, and large steps.
I held the door handle tightly.
Then I pushed open the doors slowly.
As the doors opened, it revealed plenty of beautiful arts, paintings and sculptures that were most likely priceless. Through the heavily decorated mess, dozens of bookshelves with the length of a giant snake that extended to the back of this said building would be seen. Each bookshelf would be filled with a whole ton of books. One could say that this place is a knowledge haven considering that it contains this much books.
Up until this point, I would still be amazed upon seeing the sheer size of the place.
"I could get lost in this place and noone would even be able to find me after." I had now said.
I was just there, standing still, gazing at the wonderful selection of books.
It was only after a while that a Librarian noticed that I was there, just standing still. The Librarian would approach me after only realizing so.
"Your Royal Highness? I apologise for the sudden disturbance, I did not greet you on the way in. My name is Marco LeBlanc and I am the Head Librarian for the Palace's Great Library." The Librarian would now say this.
"Ah, Marco is it? It is quite fine, I'm rather intrigued in learning more about magic, do you have any suggestions on where I should start?" I was now asking the Librarian, as I needed a foundation on where to begin.
"Ah! I would recommend starting with the book, 'Magic Theories and Their Uses'. It has a very good explanation to magic as well as their theories. Not only that, they also word their theories easily so it's easier for beginners to understand. If you would like, I could grab it for you, Your Royal Highness." The Librarian had now offered to help.
"Oh, that would be amazing. Please pick up the book for me to start reading, Marco." I would smile as I politely agreed to his offer.
"Very well." The Librarian would say this and began heading towards where the book was.
Magic in itself in this world is a complicated subject to learn, like how Mathematics made no sense to me back in previous life. But maybe, just maybe, I might have a talent for magic, hence that's why I'm here trying to learn magic. I don't want to be useless anymore like the me before this. I want to become someone, become something and do great things.
And so, that was the start of my magic learning career in this life. I shall do my Kingdom and Parents proud. I shall no longer back down from a challenge and move forward.
With that mindset, with each passing day, I grew to become better and stronger.
