As the Sun rises, a new dawn now awaits me. I didn't get much sleep last night, mainly because I was up all night trying to decipher a magic spell that Marco taught me earlier when I left the library. So far, nothing has work and I still don't know if I possess the conditions to learn magic. Though, I overheard Marco talking to the other librarians about a 'Mana Crystal' ? Basically, they said that this so-called crystal can help improve one's mana capacity, not only that, it will also react by shining brightly if a person who possesses mana touches it. So maybe I can find out if I can learn magic or not through that. The real question still remains though, how am I going to get that mana crystal? They said it's a rare artifact that can't be given away carelessly considering the price and quality aswell.
Wait. Did I really just say that? I'm still not used to being a Prince, so I tend to forget from time to time. Anyways, wouldn't I be able to get it if I just ask for it? I mean, I don't think anyone in this Kingdom would dare defy the Prince now would they? I should find out later when I have the chance, for now, let's try exploring the palace to its end.

There I was, walking slowly through the hallway corridors, all in between these fancy and engraved walls. I'm still amazed by it, even though I've passed through here hundreds of times. I could never get used to living luxuriously to this extent. Nevertheless, I should enjoy the perks that come with it. Because, compared to my past life, living like this is like living in heaven. So I really should be grateful for this opportunity.
Up to this point on, William has already been wandering the corridor for hours.
"I should probably start heading to the library, I still need to ask Marco if I could have that mana crystal." William would now say to himself.
I now headed towards the library, planning to seize the mana crystal from Marco as well as to get more recommendations from him.
Upon arriving, I approached the still huge door handle.
I slowly held the door handle with my small hands.
I would then proceeded to open the door, revealing the same room from yesterday, with it's heavy decorations and long bookshelves.
I headed inside and Marco was there to greet me this time.
"Greetings, Your Royal Highness, welcome to our humble Library once more." As Marco was saying this with the other librarians forming a line, welcoming the Prince while bowing respectfully, following customs and protocols.
"Ah yes! Thank you so much for the greetings Marco, and the rest as well, you may go back to what you were already doing, I just need to talk to Marcus." I would now say politely with my child-like voice, dismissing the rest of the librarians.
The other librarians would proceed to go back to their positions to complete their given tasks while Marco still stood there, waiting, following the Prince's orders.
"Is there something that you need, Your Royal Highness? Perhaps more recommendations for magic books to continue your research? If you do need one, I could go and get it for you." Marco would stand there, suggesting to the Prince whilst awaiting for his respond.
"Ah, you read my mind Marco! Yeah, I was actually looking for another magic book to research, but that's not all." I would now say to him.
"Hm, what else do you need, Your Royal Highness?" Marco would ask the Prince as he was confused by what he said.
"Actually Marco, I heard that there is a thing called a 'Mana Crystal' , is that true?" I would answer his question to get rid of his confusion.
"While a mana crystal does exist, I don't think it would be any useful to you, Your Royal Highness." Marco would respond.
"Why would you think so, Marco?" I would ask Marco in utter confusion towards what he just said.
"Huhu, if you're concerned on whether you're able to use magic or not, then I'll answer it for you. The answer is that yes, you're able to use magic, and not just casually." Marco would answer, to clear out any concerns William had before this.
While he did say that I could use magic, what does he mean by 'not just casually'? It'd be best if I ask him right now while I still have the chance.
"What do you mean by that Marco? You said 'not just casually', care to explain?" I would ask Marco once more.
"Well, for starters, you were born with a physique and body that absorbs mana naturally, just like your ancestor, the Founder of the Wilsemann Royal Family." Marco now said this.
"This means that, while other people need to absorb mana across the environment manually, you just need to be present at the same environment and mana will just automatically come to you." Marco continued.
"Other than that, while other people would need to focus on gathering mana from the surrounding while fighting to refill their mana from depleting, you would just need to focus on fighting without ever having to worry about your mana depleting. In short, it also means that you have unlimited mana and mana capacity. Hence, why I said a mana crystal wouldn't be as helpful to you considering this fact." Marco would now finish his explanation and statement.
At that split second, William could be seen just standing there. In awe and shock to what he just learned about. All this time, William was worried that he wouldn't be able to use magic, to be able to absorb mana and fully use it to it's depletion. But after finding out about this amazing information that Marco just delivered, he was relieved, happy and excited all at the same time.
William's mouth could be seen just hanging about, still trying to process Marco's statement.
"So you're saying...I don't need a mana crystal? And I can just use magic freely?!" William would just ask Marco to fully confirm.
"Yep, that's essentially it." Marco would just be smiling whilst tilting his head to the right to confirm for the Prince.
"YES! I CAN FINALLY BECOME SOMETHING GREAT!" William would just say this in excitement.
"Marco, about the book that you mentioned, give it to me quick!" He proceeded to ask Marco for the book he recommended.
"Very well, Sire." Marco would fulfill the Prince's wishes.
Marco could be seen going about his way to get the book. During this same moment, William would find his seat, awaiting for Marco to deliver the book to him.

After a while, Marco was now back with the book that he recommended to the Prince.
He would then proceed to place it onto the table and began presenting it to the Prince.
'Enigmatic's Guide to Learning Magic for Beginners'
"As the book title suggests, this book is a very helpful guide for those beginners who want to start learning magic. This book consists the basics of the basics for magic, and that includes spells and theories. Not only that, it offers the readers some chants and magic circles to use to test out the magic that they are learning. The magic spells are not just limited to everyday routine magic, it also includes battle magic and support magic. With this, I hope you find the book helpful, Your Royal Highness, please enjoy your study time." Marco would present the book to the Prince whilst also giving him encouragement.
"Thank you Marco. You may continue with your original task!" William would now send him off after giving Marco his thanks.
So, a book that consists of helpful guides for beginners huh? I'll take the book's and Marco's words for it. Let's hope it's not like the other book that didn't even bother teaching me.
Here goes.
I slowly placed my tiny fingers on the edge of the underside of the book cover, slowly lifting it up.
I would then fully open the cover of the book.
"This..THIS IS AMAZING!" As William proceeded to read through the first part of the book with an excited expression.
