[Chantal's Point of View]
The last day of the vacation or "honeymoon" has arrived.
Mateo and I decided to spend the last day on personal time.
I couldn't help but feel how comfortable this situation was because the surroundings are still lovely.
The breeze was pleasant, and I'm just lying on the beach chair with an umbrella.
I didn't want anything from anyone, especially business, but because everything would return to normal tomorrow.
I must make the most of today.
I got up and thought of pampering myself by the near spa. Everyone knew that it was a crime to go home without pampering yourself.
I decided to post a picture of my Villa online and captioned that it was for sale since I didn't want to use it again, after that was done, got my things and went ahead to restore my day.
Inside the spa, a very accommodating employee approached me, "What can I do to assist you, ma'am?"
Chantal smiled from ear to ear and said, "A seaweed scrub, mani-pedis, and a full body massage."
I'll try to do these at once since I had time for myself.
The employee nodded her head and said, "right this way, Miss."
Chantal was led into a room where she was given a locker to store her things and she was asked to wear robes.
After that was done Chantal quickly entered a room where the employee guided her, she placed Chantal on a bed and asked if she could remove the robes down to Chantal's waist.
Chantal nodded as she close her eyes and then let out a sigh of relief.

[Mateo's Point of View]
I need some alone time. So I suggested that we spent this day separately which Chantal effortlessly agreed to.
I was seeing what she was doing from a floating bridge by the water, and as I saw her being unbothered that I wasn't by her side made me frustrated.
Chantal was unaware that I was here because she agreed when I told her I would fix something in a nearby city.
She's easy to get along with, but I should also have some time alone because I'm still worried about Phoebe.
I was in awe when an open number rang on my phone.
"..."
The person on the other end of the phone chuckled and with the sound it, I knew it was Phoebe.
"Hi, I was wondering if—how are you?"
Even though our relationship eventually ended, I knew it was still her not until I met Chantal.
I was speechless and left the phone hanging.
"Uhmm—I guess you are busy. Err... Give Uncle and Auntie my regards, I'll see you soon."
My heart continued to sink and I sigh deeply, "Stop that, you know what circumstance we're in. Thus, I think you should keep your distance from now on," I informed her that I felt her sorrowful expression even though I couldn't see it.
My parents have never been interested in what I and Phoebe had since we graduated from college.
I'm not sure, but they didn't even somewhat like her, no more reason explained. However, I didn't keep our relationship a secret; instead, I accepted it and informed my parents about my relationship with Phoebe before I agreed to take the position of President.
Phoebe was a typical girl. Despite not coming from a wealthy background, she has a higher IQ. Phoebe was a girl a family could ask for the reason why I didn't get my parent's reason to hate her.
The one time I asked why they hate her so much, they believed she was exploiting me for financial gain, the main reason they don't want us to be together.
"I'm so—" Phoebe said and I didn't talk to her that long and switched off.
My mind felt numb thinking of the thought that Phoebe never gave up even though things have changed since then.
I'm merely doing this to cleanse my identity. I can't believe I got to the point where getting married would be necessary, but I had to keep the news from spreading.
I might be able to wed Phoebe after all of this. She would comprehend everything, I'm certain of it.
I purchased a floating room, and when I got inside threw my phone on the bed, went to the back sliding door, and dove into the crystal-clear water. I let myself float and let my thoughts drift away from my conflicts.
After a quick swim, I climbed up on the small deck to dry off by myself. When suddenly my phone rang a notification.
I had just taken down my shorts and covered my lower body with a towel.
"She's selling her villa?!"
[Chantal's Point of View]
My appointment was finished by the evening and I was not hungry because they had food to serve and they claimed that it was free because I had taken a lot of their promo but I asked them if I could pay because I knew they must be exhausted and I had extra money, so I maintained that if they wouldn't accept my payment for their food, I would leave a tip.
I needed to fix my things and walked to the villa. After all, we were going to return right away in the morning.
Due to the lights being on and the pleasant aroma, I assumed Mateo was inside when I arrived at the front door. He was cooking when I entered right away without knocking.
I don't object to it. He was indeed good at cooking. He paid no attention to me, so I simply let him go and walked right to the bedroom to organize my things, after they were packed into my luggage. I was double-checking my stuff when Mateo suddenly shoved me, causing us to fall into the bed and ask, "Why are you selling this villa?"
I was taken aback that it made me speechless, his hold on my wrist suddenly became more firm as I was only looking at him.
"Mateo, it hurts—" I said to him.
Mateo did nothing but stare at me and sigh, "I know you're sorry we spent our night here, but don't sell it—" Mateo frowned, and I was confused.
Mateo gave me a catalog filled with different villas, some of which were extremely expensive.
"Selling this Villa had nothing to do about what we had done, why are you putting yourself into this?" I asked and felt so confused.
'Was he being carried away?' I asked myself.
Mateo merely stared at me and put his hand in his pocket without saying a word.
"Pick one up and tell me over dinner that I don't care how much it will cost; just pick one up." When he said it, my mouth immediately opened.
"Don't sell it and delete that post, but if you wanted to, I'll buy it from you..."
