The wall that divides the known and the unknown. That of course is the divide between two egos. They span miles apart, the thoughts between two humans so utterly lonely in their box that they consider average, typical, and expected. To follow these rules is almost intrinsically known to every human on earth. Nevertheless, the seem is broken, maybe between friends or lovers. The ability to almost meld into one collective ego and communicate beyond the fence. That threshold bares nothing but pure honesty. Call it love, melding, combining superego, or whatever, but it's the truest, barest form of communication that goes beyond rules or expectations. I am truly terrible at describing this phenomenon but it's looking into the eyes of another on a dark afternoon, florescent lights above, a field of maple covered with people below but none care enough to care what you are doing, and saying with full intent "I love you".
