Adrian was standing inside of the kitchen in the Inn, which he named Root of the World, because it was next to the base of World and its roots. He was definitely great at naming things.
He was standing looking at the stove in front of him as he frowned.
"I don't know how to cook!" he said looking at the pots and pans and different utensils.
He turned towards the goblins who were currently inside of the dining room and looked over the counter that faced the room. "Hey, do any of you know how to cook?"
The goblins looked at each other a few looking towards Gabbie upon which she shook her head and denied it.
"Nope"
"No"
"Nah"
A series of negatives was heard from the dining room and Adrian sighed. How had he overlooked this! He had spent so much DP on this kitchen but no one knew how to use it!
He decided he was going to purchase a monster that would be able to cook for him!
He had a few qualities that he was going to look for, as this would be one of the poster children for his Inn, Root of the World. It had to be humanoid for one, as people don't want some tentacle monster cooking their food. And two, it had to be pleasing to the eye. He didn't want his customers throwing up the food they just purchased when they looked at the chef!
He scrolled through the different monsters he was able to purchase and settled on a few.
[Fox Beastkin]
[Fairy]
[Pixie]
[Dryad]
These were the monsters that looked the best for him to purchase. He decided to opt out from choosing pixie because they were just too small, and that might get inconvenient. He also crossed the Dryad off the list, because as a tree spirit he didn't know if they were good at cooking.
That left just the Fox Beastkin and the Fairy. "I did say earlier that I was going to eventually purchase a beastkin" Adrian said as he was about to choose the Fox Beastkin.
As his eyes moved past the Fairy he noticed something that caught his eye. There were subcategories for the Fairy. He opened it up and looked at the different types of Fairy before his eyes stopped on one.
"A House Fairy!" Adrian's eyes lit up! He had found his chef!
House Fairies loved anything and everything to do with housework. They loved to clean, cook, decorate, etc. They were the perfect housewives! Adrian promptly decided that he would choose the House Fairy.
He spent 5000 DP purchasing the House Fairy, and then spawned it right in front of him.
In front of him a beautiful woman with flowing green hair and a black and white maid outfit appeared. She had enormous breasts, and transparent green wings that were folded on her back.
"Hello Master! Thank you for summoning me!" She said as she curtsied.
"Welcome, You shall be named Dahlia" Adrian said as he motioned her to stand up. He gave her the name of a flower because she was very beautiful.
"What sizes are you?" Adrian abruptly asked
Dahlia paused and looked at Adrian as her cheeks began to flush a bright red.
"no! no! no! I just want to get you some new clothes!" Adrian tried to explain himself to her.
"It's okay master" she said shyly giving him her measurements, upon which Adrian was confused she already knew.
He purchased some more maid outfits as when he was looking for clothes she said she liked them. He bought green ones that matched her hair and gave her a few sets.
"Okay, I am very hungry now, and so are our goblin brothers and sisters," Adrian said as he handed Dahlia the clothes.
"What food do you want to eat master?" she asked as she began to walk around the kitchen to familiarize himself.
Adrian leaned over the counter as he asked the goblins.
"Meat"
"Meat"
"Meat"
"Salad," Goblette said looking towards her stomach trying to tell if she had gained weight.
The rest of the goblins turned to her in disgust and the stares even made her feel embarrassed which was a rare occurrence.
Adrian turned back around as he said "I guess some sort of meat dish then, what ingredient do you need?"
Dahlia thought for a moment before she listed out ingredients for Adrian to purchase.
He selected them all from the DP shop before handing them over and going out into the dining room to wait with the others.
"Say what do you think about the new chef?" one of the goblins asked
"As long as her cooking is good I'll be happy" another said
"Her cooking doesn't need to be good with boobs like those!" another snickered upon which a goblin sitting next to him smacked him, which was most likely his girlfriend.
Another goblin turned as he whispered "Don't talk about her like that! Don't you know that she is going to be Master's Mistress?"
Adrian was dumbfounded at this remark because he had never said anything of the sort. These goblins were spreading rumors! He had just spawned her as well so these rumors had spread to all the goblins in such a fast time!
He cleared his throat to interrupt their conversation and said "How is your training going?"
"It's going great master! A few of us have made some good progress, some of us not so much." He side eyed Goblette.
"Enough to become D rank adventurers?" Adrian asked
Gobble paused slightly ashamed as he said "We are working on it"
Adrian continued to make small talk until the food was finally served.
He looked at the plate of steak in front of him and was salivating at the smell. It was the best thing he had ever smelled since he got to this world!
Dahlia watched as he took the first bite, her face lighting up in joy as he said "Fantastic! Thank you Dahlia!"
She was definitely an expert chef and would be a focal point for Root of the World Inn.
"It's my pleasure Master!" and it truly was, because she gained joy from watching people eat her food.
