"So mind explaining to me why the three of you were involved in a brawl outside of the classroom?" Ozpin took a seat across the table from them and placed his elbows on the desk while his fingers were linked together waiting for an explanation. "It was that bloody team PWND they waited to ambush us!" Alan roared as Mitch sighed "Usually you're the calm one to do the rational talking and I go over the top guess the roles are reversed" he placed a hand on Alan and made him sit down and keep quiet.
"Alan and myself were walking back towards the cafeteria after our physical education lesson had finished when the guys from PWND were waiting for us. We tried to pass by without causing a ruckus but they were adamant about provoking us so merely through self defence we fought back". "Hmmm I see yet they say you guys attacked them?" "Well I'd say they would be lying then".
"Hmmmm" Ozpin leaned back in his chair deep in thought "Those boys have made a reputation for themselves about being rowdy and have provoked others before and this is the first team you lot have been in trouble minus Alan that one little thing in the cafeteria". "And how were you involved in all of this Miss Ania?" "Tom and I noticed Alan and Mitch had been missing for awhile and went in search, then when we found them Nigel, Wesley and Patrick were ganging up on Mitch so I jumped in to even things up" "Yet Tom had the common sense not to get involved?" "I suppose but I wasn't going to sit back and watch my team mate get beaten up" "Awww I didn't know you cared".
"Very well seeing as this is your first offence I'll only lightly punish you guys so for the next week you'll help serve the food at the cafeteria and attend a detention during lunch hours" "Can we eat the lunch during it?" Mitch asked as Ania glared at him to keep quiet "Thank you Professor Ozpin and we promise this won't happen again" she said dragging both of the boys out before they said anything else to get them in further trouble.
"Well that didn't go so badly" Mitch said as the door was shut behind them and Tom walked over eager to hear the news "We have to attend detention and help out with the lunch serving" Ania said as Tom rubbed his chin "Hmmmm still equally harsh but fair given your first sentence" "What the hell are you judging our sentence for?" Mitch said walking past towards the cafeteria to finally get something to eat only to find it was shut until dinner" "NOOOOOOO!" he yelled sinking to his knee's "You act like someone close to you has died" "…someone has my stomach" in response it grumbled lightly as he patted it "I know buddy how will we survive until dinner that's like 2 hours away".
"I guess I'll just sleep until dinner then since classes have finished for today" Mitch turned to walk away to find Alan had already disappeared but no one had noticed. "Where did Alan go?" "Oh he walked off towards the dorm rooms by himself and mumbled something I didn't quiet hear" Tom said as Mitch simply shrugged his shoulders "That kid has been acting all loopy since the fight against Dano".
"Hey Mitch you know how Alan is teaching me how to make friends and Ania is teaching me how to talk to women" "Yeah?" "I was wondering what could you teach me" "Why do I have to teach you something?" "I was just thinking perhaps it would help us bond as team mates and I am curious to see what experiences you could teach me".
They stopped walking for a second as Mitch leaned against the wall considering the proposition "Well you've got combat pretty well done and I can't teach you how to be anti social that goes against Alan's teachings so hmmm what can I teach you". As if to answer his own question Mitch pulled out his flask and unscrewed the lid taking a drink "I always wanted to ask what type of liquid is concealed inside the flask that you always keep drinking" "Huh why it's only the elixir of the gods" "Coffee?" "Even better than coffee here take a sip".
Tom lifted the flask up and let the liquid flow into his mouth as he spat it out and violently started coughing "Jesus what the hell is that stuff it's like fire" "Ha! I love seeing an inexperienced drinker take a sip of spirits" "Spirits you mean like dead people?" "No spirits as in alcohol idiot" "YOU DRINK ALCOHOL!" Tom yelled as Mitch placed a hand over his mouth "Shhh keep it down idiot the stuff is probably illegal here not to mention I'm underage". "Why the hell would you want to drink that foul concoction my father always said that alcohol is even worse than coffee it destroys brain cells and hinders you inhabitations making you do rash stupid decisions" "Yep and best of all you can forget things you don't want to remember" Mitch took another sip as they continued walking.
"Alright I'll tell you what since you've already tried coffee why not give alcohol a go?" "I don't know…." "It doesn't hurt to try anything once if you don't like it then never drink it again I'll even be your drinking coach" Mitch said slapping Tom on the back "So you'll be my drinking teacher then interesting, very well Mitch sensei I shall have you educate me in the ways of alcohol drinking" "….just call me Mitch" "It seems only Alan likes to be called sensei" Tom mumbled to himself.
Back in the dorm room Alan sat at the edge of his bed staring down at a family portrait that had been taken a year ago. His fingers circled around two of the boys that looked to be around his age as he sighed "You two were taken from our clan at such a young age" shutting his eyes he still recalled the battle that his two brothers had fallen in and the boy who had slaughtered them as well. He looked so similar to Dano but the boy had shouted out his name after felling Alan's second brother "Come on Black Dragon let's see if you can defeat the great Anotsu Kaguya".
Opening his eyes he placed the photo back inside his drawer and stared down at his tonfa's Doragon Strike "Once I find out if Dano is part of the Kaguya clan then I'll make sure he pays for his clans slaughtering of my two brothers…." As Alan heard the door open he leapt back onto the bed and placed his usual happy smile on his face as Mitch and Tom walked in "So we got off pretty lucky with Ozpin" "What the hell why are you cheery all of a sudden" "Why I can't stay mopey and quiet for the rest of the day it's bad enough with you" "Darn I was just getting used to some peace and quiet" Mitch grumbled.
