"Hey Mitch come take a seat with us" Ruby and Yang called out patting a spare seat as Mitch spotted they were sitting with Team JNPR as he sighed "God more people to deal with" he groaned sliding in as he sat there enjoying his burger and listening to Nora explain about this particular dream she had been having for a month as Ren sighed "You're over exaggerating the dream here I'll explain it better". As he was busy explaining the dream Mitch zoned out staring across the room to where Tom was sitting with Sky again as he grinned "Seems he's getting pretty cosy with Sky over there".
"Whose getting cosy with whom" Yang said leaning over as Mitch realised he was speaking out loud as she spotted Tom with Sky "Ohhhh seems your friend is becoming pretty close with Sky". She then nudged Mitch in the ribs "Why don't you find a girl to get close with eyyy" he waved a dismissive hand "Like I could be bothered I'd rather train" "Can't argue with you there although I don't mind a good looking guy either".
"Say I thought you said your friend Mitch was anti social" Sky said pointing towards the table as Tom looked across "Oh that's just Yang and Ruby they somehow seem to rope him in to being social and what not much to his displeasure".
"So I've noticed both of you are pretty popular with the ladies" she suddenly said as Tom looked at her confused "Really I've never noticed?" "Never noticed the girls staring and giggling at you as they walk past in the hallway?" "No, not really most of the time I thought they were being friendly" "Jeez you don't know to much about women do you" Sky said sighing "Well the only interaction with females would be the members of my family" "Then what's Mitch's story?" "He doesn't say to much" "Ahh the dark and mysterious role I see" Tom didn't though and looked across at Mitch sitting there staring off into the distance ignoring everyone as he made a mental note "Dark and mysterious attracts women hmm interesting".
Across the table from them the cries of a young female Faunus who was named Velvet could be heard as Tom looked across to see Cardin and his gang standing around her while their leader tugged at her ears giggling "See I told you they were real" he snickered pulling at them "Please stop" she begged as all it evoked was a laugh from team CRDL.
"Man there are some real jackasses in our year" Sky said looking away as Tom tried to figure out why Cardin was abusing the girl, he never quiet understood the concept of bullying and why others picked on those weaker than them. By merit the strong should protect the weak not abuse them "Hmm I might ask Alan this later on and see if he can shed some light on the matter".
"Cardin is a major jackass" Yang scoffed as Mitch looked across towards where Velvet was being bullied "I'd do something but there's no point creating a pointless fight over nothing" he thought to himself and simply looked away as her cries for help went in vain. "To be fair Cardin bullies everyone" Jaune commented as Mitch had noticed the young blonde had been targeted by him numerous times like that time he was stuffed in the locker and rocketed off to some unknown location.
"I dunno he hasn't bothered bullying me" Mitch commented as Jaune seemed surprised by this "Maybe it's because of the whole dark and mysterious attitude he thinks you'll kick his ass" Yang said punching the air "Well if he did piss me off I wouldn't really bother doing anything creating a fight without a reason is pointless" "To be honest I would've thought you'd jump at the chance to fight him?" "In an official fight sure but outside forget it that'd cause to much of a hassle". Pushing his seat out Mitch stood up "Anyway I might head to class and take a nap before it begins".
Meanwhile Tom had been standing outside the classroom awaiting his lesson as a man appeared right in front of him from out of nowhere. He was a young looking man for a professor with messy green hair and brown eyes hidden behind giant white glasses, his attire was dishevelled with his white shirt tucked partially into his green paints and the collar raised while a yellow tie was half undone.
In his hand he held a mug of coffee as he took a sip and continued staring at Tom. Remembering Alan's lessons he extended out his hand "Hello I'm Tom" "Ah yes Tom Sai-Ling one of the first year students a pleasure to meet you" the professor rattled off his words like machine gun grabbing Tom's hand and rapidly shaking it. "Yes, yes I'm Professor Bartholomew Oobleck and will be your history teacher, indeed history is a rather important occurrence because without we cannot learn about the hunters of the past and have their teachings applied to this day and age, interesting indeed is it not?" "Ermm" was all Tom managed to say trying to decipher what he had said during that entire sentence before he continued talking "Well I've heard great things about you from the other professors and hope we can get along well" with that his darted off in a blur through the class room doors straight into the middle of the room sipping on his coffee.
"Made a new friend I see" Ania's voice came from behind as Tom turned to face her still slightly confused with what had just happened "Err I think so?" "Aren't we becoming Mr Popular first that cute girl Sky and now even a Professor" "Wait I'm friends with Sky?" Shaking her head Ania leaned forward "I think she might want to be more than friends" "What's more than friends?"
Sighing Ania lightly whacked him over the head "It looks like you have a lot to learn about women and I'm the only one capable of teaching you" "Couldn't I ask Alan" "I don't think a males perspective would work in this case, believe me when I'm done educating you I think you'll understand how and why Sky talks to you the way she does" "Hmmm interesting I've acquired myself another teacher very well Ania- sensei I leave myself in your capable hands" "…..yeah don't call me Ania-sensei just my normal name works fine"
Walking over they both took a seat next to a slumbering Mitch who was awoken by a poke to the face by Ania "When did you get here" "Like 5 minutes ago I was taking a nap before class began" "You'll just sleep through it anyway" "So?" "Baka stay awake" she yelled whacking him over the head as he grumbled "Fine cause me to be sleep deprived" "Whose fault is it you never sleep at night" "Hey you don't either" "At least I stay awake during class" "Yeah well… shut up"
