"Can you please explain to me that what I hear is not true" Chance finally looked up after the silence which had become uncomfortable. I looked at him trying to understand how he took in the little 'false' information.
"You believe them Chance, you believe I killed my father?" my voice couldn't be smaller. I knew somebody who hated my small voice but loved it later.
"Of course not Rosalina" he used 'Rosalina' "I don't believe them you're more than family to me so I know you wouldn't do such a thing" not so convincing.
"You know very well I've never left the castle since I don't know when or how would I have gotten the knives from here" I argued.
"Right" not so convincing either, "I believe you Rosa but we have to figure what is this game being played here because somebody is setting you up" the probability of that being true was more than a hundred percentage.
"How do we do that Chance am new to everything even the world"
"We'll figure it out" he said standing "now cheer up and lets go see the mountains put on pants now" smiling he walked out to his room. My mood elevated and I decided to forget everything about my father and murder and stupid court and royalty in total.

"So open your eyes and look now" the light was overwhelming as I looked at the high mountain in front of us. It was high, too high four high peaks with snow at the top. Each peak magnificent in all its ways.
"Mount Reina, one of the most beautiful and magical places in the continent all the peaks have special names which I don't remember for now but each peak has its own special magic" Chance told me as we took a narrow path to another spot to have a better view. The top was snow going lower was the woodland and heath then lower was the bamboo land and the rainforest lastly.
I would have loved to climb it one day but my nausea and sicknesses wouldn't allow me to. "What?" Chance was speaking with me.
"Take off your ring and give it me" he stretched my palm and I frowned.
"Why?"
"Trust me Rose" I slipped the ring out of my finger and placed it on his palm. That's when I felt it, the magic of the mountain I breathed and felt it on my skin on the hairs of my skin.
Power. The last time I felt such a surge of power was when I was with Axel when he kissed and touched and when he taught me how to use my abilities.
"Calm down Rose your trembling all over" he chuckled and came to stand beside me lifting my hand up. He placed my palm on his and caressed the middle of my palm
I laughed "It tickles"
"I know now concentrate" I concentrated and blue light formed on my hand glowing brighter and brighter. I enjoyed the feeling of power coursing through each of my cells in my body. It felt nice to feel whole but my power was and had never been kind to me, it could erupt any moment especially when triggered by emotions.
"Now stop" Chance reminded and slipped the ring on knowing what would happen if I didn't stop. My black hair all over my face and I pushed it back smiling at the beauty before me. "let's go now, we'll hike to that point and hike back later" he tugged at my arm and we went up.

"Give us the names of all the people that came asking for the knives and on what date and time her majesty came here and when the messenger brought back the knives" Chance acted like my emissary as he barked out orders to the priests who gathered data on everything he asked for.
"Right away Sir.Riley" Chance Riley, my best friend and emissary. He could only be my emissary if and only if she was ever queen as if that could ever happen.
"Let's go am already fed up of here" we left immediately after.

"Did you find anything?" my brother asked curiously as he dropped the sword on a table and sat right beside me. He was dressed in knight's attire just like the one my father used to wear during training. He reminded her of him, the one I supposedly killed. Chance left immediately we arrived at the palace saying he had to attend to the names given to him.
"No nothing useful," I hesitated not knowing if l could tell him the truth or not "but they said that there were a couple of people who came for the knives after the death of father" it was a half truth of what I was told anyways.
"What about before his death?" he asked.
"Nothing" he nodded and smiled re-assuringly, Lloyd was beside him with a smile which I could say was un-nerving and scary. After the night he mocked me I had avoided seeing his face as much as possible, he looked like the one who would root for trouble with me to bring me out of the castle.
I left them and went to rest in my quarters
