Breakfast was quick, with all six members of the group sitting at the same table, eating the same chicken salad with extra chicken. Alexander still leeched off Xiao's peeled apple slices, and he also started leeching off Raxithak's cherries too, because his grapes weren't enough.
"I've never seen so many winners sitting together outside a ceremony." Uncle David's voice alerted them, and all the teenagers snapped their heads towards him.
It's weird seeing the secretary outside of his office, but Xiao still gave him a friendly wave in greeting.
"Great minds think alike." Alexander grinned.
Next to him, Raxithak snorted. "It's truly amazing whenever you decide to use your brain, Alexander. Do it more often."
