Selena's POV
"What are you doing here, Selena?" Neil asked with a stern voice, and I was fidgeting. I used to see him with a happy face, which is why I love his company; there is no dull moment every time I am with him.
But right now, all I could see on his face was anxiousness, and it felt like he wanted me to leave immediately.
"Aren't you happy to see me? I came to see you, Neil. I was worried about you." I softly answered, and his face softened as he looked at me.
"I am sorry, but you can't be here," he said as he looked around, and I could tell he was afraid someone might see us talking.
He looked haggard, and I could see dark circles around his eyes, which meant he lacked sleep. And the fear I saw on his face was making me worried.
"Are you in trouble, Neil?" I asked as I looked him in the eyes, and he quickly averted my gaze.
"Come on, you can tell me anything; I am your friend, Neil," I added, and he shook his head.
