Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: In Awe.

The next day, Grace woke up early as usual. She likes exercising because she wants a strong body but more than that she prefers exercising through sports and martial arts as she really likes them. So today, instead of the treadmill and all, she felt like playing sports.

It was a weekend today. So when her sister woke up, she told her to come to play with her. They planned to eat breakfast a little late after playing. Lily was obviously happy to play with Grace. She was in a soccer club as she was more of a soccer fan but she also liked basketball.

She learned it and played for the change. When she was small, Grace obviously went easy on her because of her age but now that she has grown up, she can finally play with Grace without any obstacles. Her height was still a little shorter than Grace but it was alright.

It was winter so they both wore black inner inside. Grace's jersey was black while Lily's jersey was white. Then they picked up the ball and went out. The basketball court in their house was beside the garden. So that they could play in good weather.

Lucas and Hasley also accompanied them. They sat in the garden facing them. There was tea and coffee on the table. They had fun watching them playing together after so long.

Grace smiled as she looked at Lily in front of her all ready to fight a war. She found her serious look really cute. She asked her.

" Are you ready, Lily?"

" Yes, Sis!"

" Alright then." After saying that, Grace threw up the ball. When the ball come down, they both jumped. In the end, the ball ended up in Grace's hands. She dribbled the ball and with a swish went ahead of Lily.

Lily was stunned and quickly turned around as she ran. Halfway through, she saw Grace jump in a perfect form and shoot three perfectly. She forgot for a moment that she was in a game and was in awe.

Grace looked so cool at that moment. Her every action was precise and perfect. Her shooting form was so beautiful that it rendered Lily speechless. When they were younger, they just played with the ball. More like Grace was teaching her and accommodating her.

So they never really had a match but now that they do, Lily found out that Grace wasn't going easy on her. When she realised that, she was very happy and got more excited. Most of the time, Grace went easy on her. She let her get spoiled as long as she doesn't lose her manners.

She gave her everything she wanted. So now that Grace didn't go easy, Lily felt that she has grown up and was no longer a child in her sister's eyes. That made her very happy.

Grace's ball went swiftly and perfectly into the basket. As it fell down, Lily picked it up and ran back towards the other basket. Grace ran beside her and soon stood in front of her. Lily dribbled the ball behind her right side. After trying for a while, she took the ball in front again and as Grace was going to snatch it, she went for a three.

Grace backed away and prepared to jump. Just when her feet were about to leave the ground, she stopped. Lily just did a fake and when Grace took the bait, she changed her form and rushed beside her. After running only a few steps, she shot a three. Grace almost touched the ball.

In the end, the ball went in swiftly. A smile spread on her face as she looked at her little sister who has all grown up. That was an amazing play. She was in the basketball club in high school but Lily wasn't. Despite that playing so well, Grace was impressed.

Just like that, they played. One after another goals sounded and an hour later, they finally stopped. The scores were shocking.

Grace has 86 points while Lily only had 42 points. Such a big difference again left Lily in awe. She was impressed at how good Grace was at the game. After that, they took a quick bath and eat breakfast at 9 am. Lucas still had some work matters so he went to the study room and worked. Hasley accompanied her while Lily chatted with her sister.
