"I promise dad, on the very day we land in Seattle, I'll bring him to you." Lucia reassured her dad one last time then she ended the call and turned to Stefan.
"Great! Now we have to meet my dad"
"Wasn't that part of the plan?" Stefan looked at her quizzically, "that was the first thing we were supposed to do." He said and collapsed on the bed next to her.
They had begun to hack the friendship thing, and soon, tolerating each other no longer seemed like a chore.
"You're making it look like it's a real thing." She looked at him, he was staring back at her. He was seated upright with his legs slightly parted, his halfway buttoned shirt revealed a sculpted chest with tufts of hair that Lucia wanted to run her fingers through. She couldn't hold his gaze any longer, so she turned away. Seeing him laying on the bed in that position brought thoughts to her mind that she rather not act on.
"And is that not the point?" He joked.
