"I don't like the water!" Lucia stubbornly said and sat back down in the car. "Why does the surprise have to be in the ocean?". Stefan refused to tell her what the surprise was and had driven to the marina. The memories of the events of the last time she was on one of his yachts came flooding back.
Once bitten, twice shy.
"Come on Lucia, don't be difficult. You were here once, a second time is not so bad. Grow up." He sounded like her father.
"The last time I was here, I was desperately trying to hold down my gut contents so I wouldn't ruin another one of your stupidly expensive suits!"
Stefan rolled his eyes.
After what seemed like an eternity, Lucia sighed. "Fine. Let's get this over with. What do you wanna show me anyways?"
"Like I said, it-"
"A surprise. Ughh! I get it."
