I stared at Liam as he walked away from me, hoping he'd turn back at least once, but no, he did not look back, not even once.
'Ethan might be searching for you' The voice echoed in my head reminding me of the man I was supposed to be with.
I don't think he'd be searching for me, he might be busy with the woman finding a way to be inside her. That is him. I shook my head, shrugging off the thoughts, and walked back to Mike to check up on him.
"Your husband was searching for you," The nurse informed seeing me get close to Mike, and there was something in me that felt relieved but that did not last long as I glanced back at the woman on the counter smiling.
'I guess he gave her something-' I shook my head trying to stop the thoughts, it is not me. I shouldn't be doing it.
The nurse glanced at me watching my stupidity. "Thank you," I said, getting up from the bed. It was the best idea to run away.
