Nathan's warning served as a wake-up call for Felix.
He couldn't allow himself to be a one-trick pony else it could come back to bite him.
Since the system allowed him to use any weapon as long as he came into contact with them, why shouldn't he use them?
This way, his fighting style will always remain versatile no matter what situation he found himself in.
Thus, he opted to use the Multi-shot Pulse Gun without hesitation since he was already outnumbered by his targets.
Taking the fact that he had the element of surprise, he attacked without hesitation.

He aimed for a headshot, hoping to at least take down one before the others caught on.
With a pained grunt, the struck beast staggered as green blood spluttered from the holes in its head, melting the floor as it made contact.
Felix instinctively frowned. "Acid blood as well."
Hardly had he finished speaking when the injured Hyena whipped its neck to glare at him, its red eyes reflecting his image.
With a low growl, it designated him as a target, slowly turning toward him while maintaining eye contact.
Felix clicked his tongue as he quickly retrieved his sword from [Weapon Vault].
He didn't expect to take the Hyena down immediately even though it would have been nice if that happened but the fact that two bullets to the head had done nothing more than aggravate the beast was enough to let him know that he hadn't thought his approach thoroughly before executing it.
[Do you require parallel processing to use both weapons?]
"Do I have a choice?"
[…No]
"Thought so." Felix noticed the other four Hyenas slowly moving with their intentions clear as day.
"They are planning a pincer attack." He casually said as he gripped his sword tightly.
[Aren't you afraid?]
"Sure I am… but learning in a controlled environment won't help. I came down to gain on hands experience with Battle. If I can't take this much danger, then I have no right to seek revenge against them."
[Understood. Equipping Gladiator title]
Felix revealed a look of anticipation as he zoned out the presence of the other Hyenas to focus on the one he attacked.
"You first."
As though in response, the injured Hyena let out a Howl, disrupting Felix while two others lunged at him from the left and right.
Unlike earlier today, Felix didn't stay put despite his ears ringing, causing his balance to falter.
Using Time Difference, he hastened his thoughts and quickly made a decision.
He staggered forward and fell to the ground, avoiding the pincer attacks of the Hyenas.
The moment his vision cleared, he immediately used Time Difference to hasten his thinking just in time to catch the injured Hyena rush toward him while the previous two attackers tried to regain themselves after knocking into each other.
The moment he made his decision, Felix canceled the skill before leaping to the side and swinging his sword vertically.
A bright glow flashed as he activated [Vertical slash] and cut the hyena's legs.

Its legs were severed cleanly as it fell to the ground, its blood spluttering about as it tried to stand back up.
"Oh no, you don't." Felix was about to charge at it to deal the finishing blow when another Hyena rushed in from his blind spot.
Felix immediately turned around and pointed the Multi-shot Pulse Gun at it before releasing six rounds in a single breath.
[Rapid fire activated]
The Hyena's head exploded like a watermelon with its green blood splashing everywhere.
Felix quickly leaped out of the way, barely surviving the rain of acid.
[Notice. Host has received considerable damage from the acid. I advise you be more careful]
"Yeah sure." Felix brushed off the burns as he got to his feet, well aware that he still had enemies to handle.
Meanwhile, the Hyena that had its legs decapitated was currently whimpering on the ground while the one whose head had exploded staggered about in a manner that gave Felix the creeps.
"Indeed, it can survive without a head," he muttered as he turned his attention to the remaining three that were currently staring at him warily.
After a few seconds passed in the standoff with no one attacking, he furrowed his brows. "Why aren't they attacking?"
[Notice. They are scared. Though they are undying creatures, they value their lives greatly. Once more than a single member of their pack suffers significant damage, the others would rather retreat than continue fighting]
"I see." Felix nodded before smirking. "Then I just have to take the fight to them."
He wasn't about to finish things when he was gaining such valuable experience for future endeavors.
Planting his feet on the ground, he designated his first target before pointing his gun at it.
Without waiting for a warning, the targeted fellow leaped to the side to avoid the attack.
"Interesting," Felix remarked as he slowly lowered the gun without shooting.
[Notice. They are learning]
"As they should," Felix remarked.
Based on the knowledge Nathan instilled in him during their two-day journey, it was normal for mutants to learn, after all, they were just bloodthirsty, not completely stupid.
Once upon a time, they were beasts capable of cultivation.
What would stop them from recognizing an opponent's fighting pattern?
Felix once again understood just how dangerous the world was while also strengthening his resolve for what was to come.
"If I can't even defeat these beasts…I have no right to look further above!" Felix declared as he dashed forward full of fighting spirit.
The Hyenas reacted the moment he moved as they dashed in different directions to confuse him.
Felix paused in his tracks as he attempted unleashing a [Vertical slash] in one direction before turning in the other to shoot down another.
Before he could do so though, the last Hyena turned and released a Howl, disrupting his subsequent actions.
As his ears rang from the deafening attack, Felix gritted his teeth and spoke. "Activate Berserk Mode."
