Chapter 19 - A Broken Piece of Sword that still had Some Strength Hidden Away.

"It's enough warming up, let's go for real now."

The entire time, Abaddon was primarily testing the sword's strength and its capabilities, while at the same time getting used to the sudden cultivation realm that he just got cause of the fortune system.

Moreover, he wasn't used to this body at all in terms of movements, much less fighting. Cause he didn't experience this feeling of the godly realm since a very long time ago.

After all, he was a demonic emperor for thousands of years of his life, and he didn't experience much of the godly realm cultivation base as he quickly got through it and reached the next realm.

Demonic cultivators had a single pursuit in their lives: power. and they gained that power through any means possible, filled with dangers and ruthless natures, so their cultivation was automatically way faster as they didn't take things step by step.

Because of that savage pursuit, demonic cultivators were always seen as madmen, resorting to any despicable means to further their might within the least amount span of time.

This was why righteous cultivators feared them. Cause fighting them was tantamount to fighting a madman who wasn't in his right mind.

Meanwhile, righteous cultivators took the opposite approach, taking things one step at a time. They weren't as impressive as demonic cultivator experts, but they hardly encountered any problems with their cultivation.

And that's cause they followed a set of rules to form a solid foundation and advance through cultivation realms one step at a time, their way is safe and assured to take them far away if given enough time and they had a decent talent.

Ben was feeling no cold at all despite the freezing environment caused by the broken sword, while Abaddon on the other hand was feeling the cold penetrating deep inside of his bones despite his cultivation realm.

Regardless of whatever he was experiencing, he circulated his spiritual energy to defend against the freezing air generated by the sword's innate technique.

He effortlessly got his body to its warmth state, and in but an instant, the claws on each of his hands vanished as they got replaced by two pitch black swords, dark energy accompanied by a sinister evil aura leaking out of them.

Woosh!

Abaddon's figure disappeared without any trace, while Ben watched the fight that was soon about to break out between his sword and the old man with complex feelings, sweat drenching his back as this fight would literally determine if he would live or die.

The sword vanished out of its place as well before it reaches Abaddon's spot. In the next moment, they could both be seen In mid-air facing each other at a distance of only 10 yards away.

Boom!

Over a hundred collisions took place in the blink of an eye, the resulting explosions and shockwaves making it feel as if over a dozen soul palace cultivators were going all out fighting each other in mid-air.

At this moment, no one under the godly realm can keep up with the flurry of exchanges in mid-air and comprehend what's going on, since they will only be seeing sparks of light frequently cause of how weak they are.

After several hundred explosions erupted in mid-air, the sky had already transformed into a world of light again, being illuminated by the different martial arts taking place.

Ben's fearful and anxious feelings were somehow overshadowed by the excitement that he was experiencing deep down in his soul right now, at the end of the day, reaching such heights was always his goal from the moment he transmigrated into this world.

Abaddon's eyes were flickering with murderous intent as he kept fighting this sword that still had some of its power left. His gaze was focused on the exchanges taking place right now, while his senses were on another place.

' I can't keep going like this, I don't think my current cultivation will allow me to destroy a piece of the catastrophe sword, it's time to finish this.'

He wasn't the least worried about his safety as he was 100% confident of his fighting capabilities and current limits, so he knew that this sword won't be able to injure him if this was all it got.

After all, despite both of them exchanging more than a hundred moves in the span of seconds, that was only the superficial scene that many people will notice while neglecting what's really going on in the sky.

Matter of fact, Abaddon had the upper hand the entire time and that's why he is able to place half of his concentration on the fight while the other half is on an entirely different matter.

But despite his upper hand, he could do nothing to get past this sword with simple means, as it was fairly strong for a tattered piece that was collecting dust for millions of years.

And that's cause its metal was simply indestructible while its speed was extremely fast that it could keep up with his two swords without showing any signs of losing its momentum.

' Darkness Domain.' Abaddon muttered under his breath as he got ready to finish this hassle and get his rewards.

Subsequently, the world that got illuminated by the several martial arts and exchanges taking place in mid-air dimmed again.

Darkness that was way darker than night itself enveloped the whole of the Fang Clan mansion, making Ben that didn't understand what just happened barely able to see his hands.

The sword began intensely shaking as it spread its cold energy everywhere, its aura kept skyrocketing as it seemed to predict what was the old man really after.

It instantly vanished as it appeared in front of Ben, a bubble made of ice covering his whole body keeping him safe from all dangers of the outside world.

Simultaneously, the clouds in the sky started moving, thunderous explosions started suddenly erupting out of the sudden, making everyone inside the city shudder with fear.

In their whole lives, never had they bore witness to such clouds or thunderous sounds, this scene was simply unheard of for them and a lot of them couldn't help but close all their windows and lock their doors, thinking that a one in a hundred year's rainstorm will soon take place.

" Thanks for the luxurious rewards. I'll send you back to your world as a display of my appreciation and goodwill."

A familiar voice reached Ben's ears while his eyes were greeted by Abaddon's evil grin.

" S-spare me..." Ben was in shock.

" Die."

Abaddon's demonic voice echoed In Ben's ears inside of the ice bubble, yet as it seemed like things were gonna be over and Ben was about to die a horrible death, a sudden phenomenon and something that no one could ever hope to predict occurred.
