[Two Months Later]
It's been a year since Kanzen had reincarnated in this reality, many things had happened, and too many time skips.
"My lord."
Suddenly, a man engulf by pure darkness appeared before Kanzen.
"What's the matter, Hassan?"
Kanzen, noticing Hassan's presence that just emerged from his shadow asked without any prior reaction.
He didn't bother turning back, gently continuing to clean the bow on his hand.
"We have located the remnants of the fallen goblin empire."
Hassan said as he pulled out a large rolled map, respectfully handing it over to Kanzen's outstretched hand while bowing in one knee.
Seeing how respectful his shadow is, Kanzen could only shrug the back of his head letting the matter go.
He kept on advising everyone to treat him normally, there's no need for honorifics, but his request was immediately denied without any argument.
"A lord should act as a lord, a servant should act as a servant."
Those were Liza's words, she is Kanzen's personal advisor.
Kanzen led Hassan to move to the nearby table.
He slowly unrolled the map revealing the contents within, he quickly saw the two red dots indicating the positions of the said goblin remnants.
"They have been separated into two groups, one were the guardsman who had luckily avoided your attack when they've visited the beast territory as emissaries.
Those guys had submitted to another powerful group after hearing the destruction of their empire, this group rules the beast territory, they are called the [Beast Council] the group possessed not too dissimilar power to that of the fallen goblin empire.
The other mark were the one's that had escape after my lord had killed the goblin monarch's, this group created a new settlement slowly consolidating their power."
"Beast Council, huh? Hmm, interesting."
Kanzen muttered, a smirk creeping up to his face.
Seeing his lord's reaction, Hassan couldn't help but instinctively shiver, he could still vaguely recall the harsh training they've undergone two months ago.
He might have been a trained assassin since childhood before being captured by the goblins and joining his lord's camp, but compared to the training he had undergone two months ago, those years of training were like a joke.
From stamina training, mana training, evasion training, tolerance training, recovery training, pain training, intellectual training and live combat practice.
Even for him, an old veteran, it felt like he had been thrown to hell.
His lord might look like a young naïve and innocent cute child to others but to the people who had served him, he is worse than the devil when it comes to training.
But despise such harsh training no one in the clan could really hate their young lord because deep within they knew how caring he is towards them, the harshness he is giving them is just a way for him to express how worried he is for them.
Their lord didn't actually know how to express his true emotions and thoughts without being misunderstood, so everyone in the clan began to develop thoughtful and understanding personalities as the time passed by.
"May I ask what do you plan to do with them, my lord."
Hassan carefully asked in curiosity.
"Do you have something in your mind?"
"I am sorry, my lord, I am not as smart as you think.
I don't have anything in mind except slaughtering them."
"I see, then I wish to use this chance for the young one's and inexperience group to let them experience real combat outside our protection.
This is also a way for them to slowly regained a bit of their confidence against monsters, a form of vengeance I guess to those that had harmed them."
"That's a good idea, my lord, should I informed everyone, or you be personally informing them."
Boom!
Suddenly, the door to the room they're in exploded into bits.
Hassan immediately responded by throwing a multitude of projectiles to the source of the explosion, while at the same time using his body to shield Kanzen.
Kanzen raise his hand using telekinesis to stop the projectiles thrown by Hassan.
"Master, are you ok?"
Nero, made her appearance with her unsheathe katana in hand, seeing Kanzen being shielded by someone, Nero make her move, swiftly appearing before the two sword in hand as she slashed at the shadowy figure.
"Stop, you dumb fox."
Before Nero's blade could reach the shadowy figure, Monica appeared above her, giving the latter a hard double foot kick that sent her shooting straight to the nearest wall, planting her.
"You dumb pervert, you just destroyed the door, that's Hassan you idiotic fox why we're you attacking him.
"Huh, who's Hassan? And who's the idiot, I don't know him, I thought he was an enemy!"
Nero quickly got up, she didn't sustain any substantial damage from the impact, she immediately cleaned her now dust filled body using everyday magic.
"You don't know Hassan? Hmm, right you keep skipping training, I forgot, obviously you also wouldn't happen to know the other executives."
As the two strong-willed women started bickering, Kanzen smile warily, he used telekinesis to guide back the throwing weapons Hassan used to attack Nero.
"Are they always like this, my lord?"
Hassan couldn't help asking.
Kanzen nodded as he replied in a tired voice.
"Yeah, they're always like this, and it's pretty exhausting, if you asked."
"Stop, stop pinching my ears. No, noooo! Not my tail, I am sorry, ok, I'm sorry big sis Monica stop. Young master help me, this pervert is going overboard.
Nero slumped to the smooth crystal ground exhausted, she isn't a match when Monica got serious, a few pinches to her ears and tail is enough to bring the genius swordswoman down.
"Monica, tell Sebastian to gather all the combatants, prioritize the kids who had achieved the combat power of a level 2 adventurer and above, we will be having a conference."
"As you wish, my young lord."
Monica vanished from her previous spot, using long-distance teleportation magic to reach Sebastian.
…
The silent of the night revealed the darkness, for the blissful dreams one may then arise forward to the tomorrow.
It was a cold and silent night, but amidst these conditions a group of people numbering near a hundred silently journeyed their way through the dark woods.
Stopping before a large settlement, one can see dozens of wandering green humanoid creatures guarding the brightly lit place.
One of the people, scouting the settlement before them, almost couldn't hold back his urge to pounced at the group of unsuspecting green humanoid creatures, desiring nothing but to slaughter the creatures that took everything from him.
"Boy, hold your horses."
A elderly man reprimanded the young boy, whose bloodlust couldn't be concealed.
"But…!"
Hearing the elderly man's words, the young boy regained a bit of his sanity.
He glared at the elderly man who had stopped him only to lower his head seeing the stern look his mentor is giving him.
"These kids are on fire, they couldn't wait any longer."
Benimaru one of the executives accompanying this hunt said in a jovial tone.
He looked at everyone before him, a serious expression on his previous always easygoing face.
"How do you plan to deal with these monsters, my lord?"
Sebastian appeared before Kanzen.
