Chapter 32 - Cleaning Up 2

Kanzen was standing atop the very peak of a tree observing what's going on below, after replaying his desire to let the young ones have their revenge against the monsters that took everything from them and treating the matter as a form of examination, everyone was hyped up as they immediately moved.

They began their travel as the sun disappeared through the horizon, they journeyed to the area where the goblin settlement that had begun to consolidate their power had gathered.

He crossed the idea of infiltrating the beast domain, as in his standpoint, the [Beast Council] is too dangerous and clearly far stronger than the Goblin Empire.

Beast instincts are a problem, the moment they sense a threat they'll surely swarm you in a group.

Moreover, unlike the goblin empire that only has the power of a single S grade level 5 and that's the goblin queen, the beast domain has more than 5 of such beings.

The only reason why the previous Goblin Empire was able to maintain power is due to their numbers that are tens of times larger compared to the Beast Council.

He might be able to handle them if he goes all out using both his bodies at the same time.

But the same couldn't be said for his party, surely everyone did grow stronger.

Unfortunately, the difference in strength and experience is too massive of a gap that it can't be compared.

He couldn't spare time fighting the beast bosses while also trying to protect his people.

Moreover, he isn't too confident in confronting them in the first place, he hasn't gathered enough information about the beast council.

Surely, he wouldn't just barge in their territory just to perish due to the lack of information.

So, for now, Kanzen decided to just let the so-called Beast Council do as they pleased.

He already deemed them to be exterminated, so it's no biggie, he isn't in a hurry anyway, hunting the beast council would only be a matter of time.

"Divide yourselves into groups of five to six, don't go solo, you might have grown stronger, but that doesn't mean you're invincible a small mistake could result in your death."

Benimaru began his speech advising everyone.

Neon took advantage of the darkness as cover, silently slipping through the backs of the goblin guards watching over the gate without being noticed.

Successfully infiltrating the camp, Neon headed straight for the inventory of the settlement, aiming to set it on fire.

At the same time as Neon is searching for the inventory of the settlement, every archer aimed their arrows at the unsuspecting goblins station at the towers waiting for Neon's signal to strike.

Boom!

Just as everyone's tension is increasing, a loud explosion resounded inside the settlement.

"That kid really did it."

Sebastian beside Kanzen muttered, seeing the tick smoke begin to rise from within the settlement center most quarters.

"He really does have talent in assassination."

Hassan chimed-in in response.

Receiving their signal, the archers on stand by let go of the strings as the arrow tore through the wind resistance, speeding straight to the distracted goblins station at the towers.

ATTACK

The remaining melee fighters and mages of the group began their assault after hearing the shout, the mages blasted the gate using their magic as the melee fighters rushed straight trying to get the agro of the goblins.

Surprised by the sudden appearance of the humans, the goblins quickly responded fighting back.

The ground trembled from the pounding of the many feet running across the ground.

It was utter chaos for the after goblins being caught off guard.

"Front line don't break the formation, mages use explosion magic!"

The group of young humans and demi humans wielding shields assumed a V-Formation, protecting the mages chanting behind them.

The hoard of ferocious goblins rushed to throw their lives just to reach them.

From the rear a black hair green blue-eyed young girl made her appearance, wielding a pair of twin short swords in her hand she is like an unstoppable wind as she tore her way through the group of enraged goblins, engaging the unsightly monsters in a head-on confrontation.

"Little Alicia is hype up, she seems pissed for some reason."

Suddenly, a volley of arrows rained at the group of young ones.

But before the volley could even touch a hair on them, a tick transparent membrane prevented the arrows from harming the group.

"Barrier squad great job, maintain the barrier, and continue to protect the strategic squad."

"Jean your squad left flank please, teach them a lesson."

Jean, the young girl who kept pestering Kanzen every mealtime.

She leads her group dashing forward cutting down every goblin in sight.

"It doesn't matter how many we killed, they just kept on coming."

"Stop complaining, dammit, these guys are too smelly."

"For real, how did young master Kanzen able to face these many enemies all by himself.

"Don't compare these measly numbers to the army young master had faced."

"Grandfather told me it's more than a hundred thousand, compared to the number we're facing, what the young master faced is literally an entire ocean of monsters."

"Moreover, those were high-level ones comparing what young master Kanzen faced to these small flies is an insult."

"You're probably right, young master Kanzen is really the best."

Amidst the chaos, Jean's group looked like they were on a picnic, leisurely talking their way through the hoard of goblins like a grinding machine slaughtering everything in sight.

The scenes straight out look like a nightmare.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three more consecutive loud explosions resounded in the center most area of the settlement.

Neon is having fun detonating his magic around the area, causing more chaos to ensue.

"That kid is having fun toying with those fellas."

"Just what took the goblin chief so long to make an appearance."

"Don't know! It probably hides out of fear."

"That's likely the case!"

This time Kanzen chimes in the conversation.

Hearing their young lord's words, everybody looked at each other, as they gulped at the same time, the same thoughts running through their minds.

--- The young lord most likely traumatized the poor fella.

"I have the power to inflict fear status with enemies who became scared of me, these fear status would last as long as I live.

Every time I am nearby someone that has been inflicted with such status will find their overall combat power decreasing drastically.

The goblin chief likely only has a combat power comparable to that of an elite hob goblin or below."

Kanzen discovered this hidden effect of his Venerable Aura as he continues to analyze the skill.

Even though to this very moment with the help of his detached thoughts he is still at work trying to analyze anything he found interesting.

Skills are literally fragmented laws that took shape.

Before a skill becomes one, it was a technique, to improve a technique one needs to understand their self and the technique before integrating the technique to one's self.

In due time, through one's effort and mastery over practice, the technique would then evolve into a skill after receiving recognition from the world.

Understanding a skill is actually comprehending laws.

The skill could then be developed in many ways, creating new techniques from the origin, increasing your understanding over the origin skill and discovering new-found powers hidden within the skill.

After discovering this, Kanzen decided to prolong his stay and develop the clan for the moment as he endeavors to better comprehend his skills trying to empower them before going on a journey to Orario.
