"Yeah, breakfast" he giggled as the older one opened his eyes, realizing what he meant.
He chuckled awkwardly, "That's what you mean, I thought it was your girlfriend's name" he spoke not really thinking about it now.
The bubbly boy crossed his arms, scrunching his nose, pursuing his lips"I don't have a girlfriend," he stated clearly.
The older eyes widened, finding it difficult to believe by seeing how charming and strong the younger was, he surely would attract a lot glances his way, "You're truly handsome so I thought—"
The boy shook his head, shutting him up with that simple action, "Having a girlfriend would get in my way to get me a sexy captain, Don't you think so?" He winked at the older, finger-gunning.
Ramon nodded, making fast connections on who he meant, "Oh, right, Captain Johnson. Is he your boyfriend?", the clueless man asked, a dimpled smile on display.
The younger, narrowed his eyes a little, truly indignanted, yet he didn't want to scare the man with his straightforwardness, "Nope, not exactly. What I mean is, I like a man who knows where to lead his boat in life"
He just nodded as the boy smiled, eyes glimmering, "Oh, makes sense. Then let's get moving. We gotta get some strength into those pretty bones, do you love kimchi? We have some left in the fridge"
Ramon spun on his heels, retaking his path, leading the way to the galley.
"Yup, sure. I'm not a picky eater" he spoke honestly following the tall burly and elegant male.
/you could give me an apple in a stick and I'd eat it as a gourmet dish/ the boy thought as he stared at the man's back, creating many scenarios inside his head.
~~●~~~~●~~
The sunlight filtered through the palm tree leaves hitting their eyes.
The dark haired squinted his eyes, opening them slowly, finding the sleeping-blonde clinging onto his chest, snoring peacefully, a gentle grin rose upon his lips in that instant like a flower blooming along with the morning dew.
The boy rubbed his face against his chest, like a feline, trying to avoid the light to keep sleeping.
Josh motioned his finger over his nose, gently poking at it "Morning, sleepy beauty" the dark-eyed teased.
"Hmm.. lemme sleep. I'm cold" the younger refused to open his eyes, even if the older pinched his nose close.
The older petted his head, chuckling, his chest rising up and down as a reaction, "We gotta look for a civilization. You can sleep once we've found a spot to rest up."
The younger frowned, barely opening an eye as the voice wasn't the one he was so used to waking him up every morning.
He jumped off the chuckling male, crawling backwards, his heart off the rackets with that action alone, "who– when– why are you–"
"Josh. Last night we arrived here swimming 'cause you were thrown into the sea. Lastly, I didn't do anything, but it seems you fell asleep on me. Worry not, nothing more than that happened" he answered the half finished questions the young male sputtered.
"Oh…right, last night," Teo coughed to hide his embarrassment as scenes from last night popped into his mind.
The older male stood up, enjoying the boy's reaction, "Now, we gotta look for your ship, I mean, your brother's."
"Right! Ramon, must've been worried sick" he rushed to stand up, however the speed which he did got him dizzy.
Josh reached for the blonde's arm to prevent him from falling on the sand again, "Did you eat last night? I mean, in the ship, you look pale"
Teo shook his head and let go of the older, trying to put some distance between themselves, "I was working, barely had time to do so, anyhow, let's get moving"
He walked ahead, as if running away, taking deep breaths to appease his shaken self.
Josh asked out of curiosity as the younger sprinted off, "Do you even know where you're going?"
The older asked, noticing how Teo took some distance, almost running along the coastline which seemed to expand infinitely.
He commented to himself, not really thinking Teo could hear him, "I don't think this is the right path" he murmured, walking behind the younger one at a calm pace.
Teo turned his head towards him, expressionless, "ok, genius if you know that much then lead the way, mister" his voice a bit harsher than he intended to.
Just then Josh noticed the younger wasn't in the mood to even talk, "I got it, you're not a morning person"
The blonde crossed his arms, halting his step, clenching his jaw, "do you know me now?" He growled, eyebrows knitted.
The older one rubbed his temple, not wishing to trigger him any further, yet he needed to know if they were going somewhere, "Nope, but it's obvious you're not in the mood to talk. All I did was give my option as all you do is run off. Does my presence bother you that much?"
The younger snapped at him, "Nobody asked for your opinion. I've been working with my brother for years and I know these beaches by sight. So yeah. I know where I'm going to" he stated, convinced with his explanation, although a voice within told him to reconsider his choice of words yet his pride made him ignore it.
Noticing the inflexible-boy's wavering sight Josh spoke again, "I don't think you do."
Teo retorted, his stubbornness making itself more obvious, overpowering his doubts, "¿Really? Whatever your reasoning is?!"
Josh tilted his head towards the coastline, which seemed endless, "One, civilization is not going to pop on a death zone inshore, so we gotta seek for them inland," now aiming toward the path filled with tree palms on the sandy beach.
The boy narrowed his eyes, "If you knew that much then why didn't you speak sooner?" growling out.
Josh didn't know how to answer that, yet he said the first thing that popped into his head, "Anyhow, we can always use the GPS" withdrawing his mobile from his clock pocket.
"You could save that thing somewhere else" Teo yelled, covering his peachy coloured face, avoiding stare his way.
Josh tried to turn it on whilst the younger breathed in relief when he didn't notice his flustered self.
The older male commented as his phone screen was a black, "I could've sworn it was charged when I left home", pressing all buttons.
Teo was ready to laugh, "Maybe you didn't–", then images of gaming popped into his head, closing his mouth instantly.
Josh snapped, lifting his head, meeting the younger's eyes, shocking him, "You were the last person who used it last night", he said without an ounce of pity.
The blonde defended himself, "You said I could use it after I called, Are you saying it's my fault now? Shoulda told me to not use it in the first place", disliking the thought of being found guilty.
Josh rolled his eyes, refraining from spilling his thoughts, "I didn't say that, but how did you consume the whole battery in a single night?" Indeed he was intrigued to know how the young man managed to drain his device in just hours.
Teo gasped, offended, scrunching his nose, "It still had 35% left when I—," biting back his tongue, knowing he couldn't defend himself anymore.
The older one lifted an eyebrow, awaiting for an answer, suspecting the boy didn't measure the damage before it was done.
Teo, held his hands together, looking down in shame, hating the thought of taking the shot.
Josh took a deep breath to calm down before he spoke, as soft as one talks to a child, not wishing to hurt him either, "You fell asleep with phone in hand, didn't you?" Rubbing the frown forming between his eyebrows, taking all his willpower to not be so blunt.
Teo still found a way to revert the tables, "I was beaten up! Couldn't help it, my body just gave up, don't blame me for your lack of prevention not carrying an auxiliary battery" throwing the blame on the other male to feel less guilty, doing cute sulking faces.
He found the way the younger swung his head from side to side, pouting, endearing, yet he covered his mouth so as to not let him notice his rising smile, "Says the one who didn't have his phone with himself" kinda wishing to see him sulk a little more.
Teo talked with a pout making him look even innocent, frowning a little, "I was at work, there was no need to. I usually stay in the galley". He wasn't wrong as that was what he always did.
He plopped on the sand, drawing random forms on the sand with his finger, "This had never happened before" muttering, looking down.
Lifting his head up he scowled at the older, "Everything would be fine if you wouldn't have sent Jack to the floor like a broken puppet," he didn't know what he was saying anymore as he was sulking now for an entirely different reason leaving Josh at loss for words.
