After a few days, Eve came to Susan's home to spend some days with her. In the morning, Susan and Eve were ready to leave for college and school. Meanwhile, Katie got in while having breakfast in the dining hall and wished Eve, "hello, how are you doing? Eve. It has been a long to see you."
"I'm good." After breakfast, Susan and Katie dropped Eve off at her school and reached the college. Susan and Katie parted ways towards their class. Susan was surprised to see Jake was waiting for her at her desk and wished her waving his hand, "Hi."
She reached her desk, settled, and asked him, "Are you not busy with the classes?"
He smirked, "you know I'm not in the studies." She nodded. He continued, "I came to return your book. That day you left behind." She took the book and thanked him.
"Well. Can we go out for a movie in the evening?"
"Are you asking me out for a date?"
"Nope. After Katie told me I was being noisy and interrupted her dates with Aaron. I changed the schedule of my practice sessions. I have some spare time alone, so I asked you to accompany me to a movie."
"My bad. I'm having a date with someone."
He was stunned, "You are joking, right? I don't think you're committed."
"Why do you think so?"
"You don't look like the one who has a boyfriend. Always busy with stuff and have never seen you with someone else since college commenced."
"Boyfriend? When I say I'm dating—it's with my sister. She asked me to go out for an outing with her."
"Oh! So, you are single, right?" Jake smiled and expected her response with excitement.
"Of course, but I have someone whom I am pursuing." Seeing him distressed to hear that she had someone whom she liked, she continued, "Maybe you don't believe it if I say I kissed him, and it was my first kiss."
Jake was unknowingly outraged to hear that she kissed him while Susan enjoyed teasing him. As the professor entered the class, Susan was surprised to see Jake excused himself without saying a word.
In the evening, Jake plays basketball alone and tries to goal. Aaron saw him unable to plan and to look distracted by something. Aaron approached him, caught the ball when it fell from the basket, and asked, "you look distracted? Something happened?"
Jake sat on the bench, calming himself, no more thinking about Susan. He couldn't, but he was curious about whom she shared her first kiss. To clear his doubt, he asked Aaron, "Kaite has known Susan since childhood, right?" Aaron nodded.
Jake continued, "Does she knows about Susan's boyfriend?" Aaron was shocked to know that Susan had a boyfriend. Jake continued, "Does Katie talk anything about her personal life, who he is?"
Jake stared at Aaron for his response, but he shook his head and said, "She didn't say anything about it?" Aaron looked into Jake's eyes suspiciously and asked, "How it concerns you?"
Jake bluffed, "I am just curious who he might be."
Aaron said, "If she already has a boyfriend, you should not develop feelings for her. I hope you give up and concentrate on finding the girl you are searching for."
Jake gets disappointed, "Of course. I have checked. It's confirmed that it was not Susan. Last time she left her notes in the café. Her writing doesn't match with her."
"Let's try another idea. You should post a secret message to her on your social media that you are looking for her. She might contact you if she knows you will meet her."
Jake, "do you think it works?"
"Let's give it a try. If she is truly into you, she will contact you." Jake nodded. Aaron reminded, "Dad invited me for dinner at home; let's go." Jake followed Aaron to his home.
