'After that traumatic experience, like seriously why does it have to hurt so much it was like putting salt in a wound, anyways after my mother placed the medical herb they left after looking me over again for any other cuts or bruises.'
"From the memories I gained, I'm a young boy called Allister who's 6 years old and living in a small village called Vile with his mother Daisy and Father Marcus."
"This requires further investigation but I'm tired and my new parents most likely won't allow me to go outside, so it's time for a nap!"
The sun stands high in the sky with a majestic radiance, announcing the start of a new chapter in the villagers' lives, whilst bestowing the land with its golden rays.
Inside a shabby wooden house on a resting child.
"Herr huh? Where am I?"
Allister quickly looks around the small room before stopping.
"Oh, I'm still here."
'Hmm but the question now is how did I get here? Currently, I've come to three conclusions:'
'One, I'm playing an immersive V.R game.'
'Two I'm in the hospital with a concussion and having a very realistic dream.'
'Third, I was transmigrated like in one of those web novels I read.'
'The first option is unlikely since no V.R game is up to this quality and even if it did neither I nor my guardian would be able to afford it.'
'The second is impossible. I distinctly remember being shot in the neck there would have been no chance for the ambulance to even get to me before I died much less take me to the hospital.'
'That only leaves the third option even with how crazy it sounds. When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.':
'But why me? There are thousands of people who would jump at an opportunity like this, so why was I sent here instead of one of them?'
'I wasn't that good in my life or would it be my past life now, anyways it couldn't be for that.'
My only two conclusions for this scenario are that;
'First I went through the process of reincarnation which Hindus believe in.'
'Second I was specifically picked by god or a being of higher power to complete a task for it.'
'The problem with the first is that my memories should have been erased, so if this was what brought me here I would have to be an anomaly.'
'And the second seems more likely but at the same time also has faults to it. If a being brought me here wouldn't it be better to inform me of the task I'm to accomplish? Maybe it's just toying with me that is a possibility too.'
"It makes no sense to think too hard about it, even if I'm correct there's nothing I can do about it."
"What I should do now is get a better understanding of my surroundings, even if I have these memories I should confirm their accuracy."
"Alright, so I have a plan so all that's left is to enact it. Let's go!"
I proceed to go through the shagged door to enter a small, warm, and comfortable room with a small wooden window at the far east side of the room giving a view of the outside world.
And in the middle of the room sat two people, a young light brown woman, and a rugged dark-skinned man.
"Morning mom, morning dad."
"Hmmm, morning Allister, are you feeling better?"
"Morning sweetie are you, okay, oh I made blue bloom pancakes would you like some?"
"Yeah I feel great dad, and thanks I would love that."
After getting seated at the table my mother gave me a plate stacked with what she called blue bloom pancakes.
"Thanks, mom."
"Your welcome honey."
After getting done with breakfast I started phase one of my plan.
"Hey, dad, do you think I can go walk around the village?"
After finishing his pancakes he looked at me and replied
"Sure"
'Oh yeah, it's all coming together .'
"But I'm going with you, I can't have you wandering into the forest again can we?"
' That wasn't the plan but it's not that big of an obstacle, it only stops me from going into the forest.'
"Alright, thanks, dad."
"Go get yourself ready alright."
"Ok dad"
I then sprinted to where the bathroom of the house should be.
"Anything you need me to get Daisy?"
" I don't think so, oh wait yeah I want a dozen eggs, a gallon of milk, and a bag of flour. Did you get all that?"
"Yeah alright I'll get it for you don't worry, and could you prepare some serene tea for us when I get back.."
"Alright dad let's go"
"Alright alright there's no rush "
"Bye mom "
Daisy just waves with a small smile on her face in response.
'After a couple of hours of exploration of the village, I can rest assured that the memories I have are accurate. The buildings remind me of England's Victoria era. But that's the most interesting thing that I gathered from this journey.
'While exploring the village I overheard the villagers talking about some sort of expedition, I wasn't able to get much but basically, some big-shot knight and his group of other exceptional members went into a dungeon and they never came back out even after a week.'
Using context clues, the dungeon I'm used to isn't the one they were talking about. This increases the chance of this being a fantasy world. Hmmm, this requires more investigation to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.'
