Chapter 43 - Unknown town

[.. The Ogre's Village ...]

After some fierce fights between Christopher and the Ogre, none of them wanted to die.

Christopher was abusing his regeneration factor to the fullest extent and the Ogre was now sitting on the ground, holding a fifth greenish flask while smiling like mad man.

The environment around was destroyed with numerous craters and holes in the ground while blazing flames were consuming the last remnants of grass and houses.

Cuts on the walls surrounding the Village were signs of survival while droplets of red and black blood covered the ground and houses were evaporating from existence due to the heat of surrounding blazing flames.

"Cheers," said the Ogre as he drank the green liquid flask.

His body lit up with a green light, his aura exploded with vitality, his wounds started healing and the red health bar below in Christopher's field of view was yet full again.

"Bullshit!" shouted Christopher in rage due to the lack of control over his overflowing sensitive emotions as he launched himself on the Ogre.

In mid-air, he shouted the name of one of his newly bought sword skills, "Rappid slash," as his body began to be covered in shadows.

Using all of his mana points, he appeared in front of him, filled with rage.

As his emotions took slight control over him, Christopher started swaying with his sword from side to side, dealing pretty good damage to the Ogre's body.

Pieces of flash and waves of black blood were flying around while he was shouting "Die! Die! Die! JUST DIE ALREADY YOU PIECE OF GREY SHIT!"

His eyes were lifeless, his aura murderous painted with the shadows of death hanging above the Village, and all this time, he was thinking about his mothers-in-law and wives who were now preparing for the ball.

'How beautiful they must be now while, instead of guiding them to the castle, I'm saying a primitive-looking Ogre in another dimension!' he shouted in his mind but was disturbed by the Ogre as his sword swaying didn't last that long.

"ANNOYING!" shouted the Ogre, and dodging the blade of the sword, the Ogre punched Christopher in the face again, who was caught off guard.

The Ogre's fist was glowing green dealing poison damage.

"Not again..." said Christopher as his annoyed face and the Ogre's fist collided.

'! WARNING !'

'DAMAGE CRITICAL!'

'POISON DAMAGE!' the female voice of Christopher's system commented as he flew through the wall and landed in one of the nearby destroyed houses that still somehow resisted the damage.

"How many?" he asked, while getting up from the ground and thrusting his head which was covered in green substance, into a bucket of clear and cold water that was near him.

The substance was a poison that was constantly trying to kill Christopher.

["Good thought with that water."]

*Ahm ["Anyway, only 20HP points are remaining. Wait a minute and you will gain +5 thanks to your regeneration."] Ardelean spoke like this was all just a game.

"Are you kidding me?! And he? How much damage did I make?" Christopher asked as he pulled his head out of the bucket that started dissolving because of the poison while his handsome but pale face was slowly healing.

The area around his eyes turned black, his irises gleamed blood-red and the water in that bucket became pure poison liquid as a random thought popped up in Christopher's mind.

["750HP points. You took him 250HP with the Rappid slash but he took you 60HP points with that poison punch."]

["I suggest you do NOT approach him right now. His body became toxic to... vampires?"] Ardelean narrowed his eyes at that information.

"It's like he was all this time prepared for me... Whatever, I have a plan. Pretty lame plan, but plan nonetheless." Christopher grinned, losing the last remnants of his sanity.

"And with his stupidity, it's going to work perfectly," he added with confidence and teleported himself from the house.

But to his surprise, the Ogre awaited this and was immediately attacked by his axe.

Sending her flying horizontally to cut Christopher in half, he thought he was going to win, but was disappointed when the axe just cut off Christopher's left leg.

"THERE YOU ARE!"

Happy that he dealt at least some damage, the Ogre shouted and jumped into the air, wanting to land on Christopher who was now lying on the ground.

"Fuck! I thought I would never feel this pain again!" Christopher growled in annoyance with a pretty pissed-off tone.

["Only 5HP remaining!"] noted Ardelean with concern in his voice. Losing his leg cost Christopher 20HP points.

"Well, no shit Sherlock!" Christopher rolled his eyes and the comment his brother-in-crime said to him.

["Are you really going to act like dick all of a sudden?"] Ardelean asked.

"Of course, you know why," Cristopher replayed with few hidden motives, but understanding this is probably not good time to argue, he added: "I got it, don't worry. Just waiting for the Mana points to fill."

["Alright, 6 points..., 7 points..."] Ardelean started counting, while the Ogre was quickly approaching the ground from the sky, followed by thunderous explosions.

["8 points..., 9 points..."] Christopher's grip on the handle of his sword tightened waiting for the right time to attack, while he noticed something.

Seeing the golden axe near him which is the secondary weapon the Ogre is using, his smile distorted into a wide demonic grin.

With a light push, he started approaching the Ogre's golden axe's handle with his right hand.

That Axe was lying near him, around fifty centimeters away.

"GOODBYE, LITTLE ADVENTURER!" shouted the Ogre with a wide smile, approaching the ground.

Holding his axe with both hands, ready to slam it vertically at Christopher, he felt pretty happy.

["10 points!"]

"You are so fucked~" Christopher smiled as he wielded the Ogre's golden axe from the ground that previously cut off his leg, which was now already healed, and spun in the air, whispering "Spinner slash."

The Ogre's eyes were wide open and full of questions and as he landed and made a cloud of dust around himself, only pain and death awaited him.

Christopher took that as a signal and immediately attacked the Ogre with the Ogre's golden axe and his sword at the same time.

With a sword in his left hand and the Ogre's axe in his right, he held the handles near his chest using this weapon like a twin-blade, while spinning himself and hitting the Ogre's body.

"AHHHHH!!!" The only thing the Ogre could do was scream in pain, and pray to survive because when he tried to block Christopher, his right arm suddenly fell on the ground.

The same happened to his left arm right after.

"YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR-*COUGH!" he couldn't even end his sentence when Christopher's sword ended in his neck, forbidding him to speak, while his axe got stuck in his chest but slowly began to dissolve thanks to the poison the Ogre was filled now with.

Christopher released the axe and pulled his sword out from the Ogre's neck, then teleported to the house where the poison bucket was and grinned.

Meanwhile, the Ogre slowly got up, armless, and pulled the pieces of his dissolved axe from his chest with his mouth.

As his arms began to slowly heal, he immediately started holding the wound on his neck.

Tearing a part of his cloth, he tied his neck with it to stop the bleeding, but quickly got attacked by Christopher and the Bucket who somehow gained a painted face made from Christopher's blood.

In a swift motion, Christopher slammed the Bucket against the Ogre's head and quickly pulled away.

The Ogre looked at him like he was the biggest fool on this planet while holding the Bucket's face, crashing it with his hand.

"HOW PATHETIC, THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK ON ME! MY SKIN IS NOW MADE FROM IT," he spoke with difficulty thanks to the wound on his neck but his voice contained zero concern.

Christopher smiled again, "You are as stupid as you look. What about your eyes dumbass?"

The Ogre's little chicken brain froze and when the wheels started working again, he understood and looked at Christopher like he now knew the concept of the entire universe.

His eyes, full of that green, slimy shit widened from unknown fear as he immediately started washing the poison out from his face but it didn't help because it already found its way into his eyes.

It was like the poison was alive and actually, it was.

Christopher just grinned as he unconsciously controlled his blood inside that poison to attack the Ogre's eyes.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" the Ogre began to scream from the pain as his eyes started slowly dissolving into a white liquid and Christopher gladly used this time to attack him with all he had.

He came a little closer with a blood-thirsty smile, calm expression, and whispering "Rappid slash" while throwing his sword from his left hand into the air, spinning, and catching it with his right hand.

The Ogre fell on his knees while holding his face like a baby wanting to cry from that pain, but he had no eyes so only sobing sounds were coming out of him.

Christopher started swaying with his sword, dealing satisfying damage, and with each slash, his body was filled with pleasure and a feeling of fulfilled vengeance for the dead and used women inside the Ogre's house.

With each slash, a ghost of a woman left the Ogre's house and entered Christopher's body, embracing him like her savior and entering his soul like it was their safe haven.

But Christopher, too much deep in his revenge didn't even consider looking at them.

After thirty-nine slashes, Christopher stopped and looked at the Ogre's health bar.

The Ogre had remained only twenty-five HP points.

"Last words?" Christopher asked with glowing blood-red eyes as he grabbed the Ogre's throat and wielded him into the air.

The Ogre just 'looked' at him and smiled, "The four Lords will come for you."

Christopher narrowed his eyes wanting to ask more, but was surprised when a spear flew near his face and pierced the Ogre's head exploding like a watermelon.

The black blood spewed from his face as he looked around wanting to know from where the spear came, but he couldn't see anyone, the gate was still closed.

Christopher then turned his head back at the Ogre, waiting if some badass thing would happen or if he would get up again, but the Ogre just dissolved into dust and didn't fulfill any of Christopher's high expectations.

The only thing that remained was a weird grey coin and when Christopher took it, it disappeared in golden light.

'Enemy killed. Rewards: ???, 6000 XP, Level up = 1000 XP, all attributes except for blood were refilled, Death in her purest form!'

'Death in her purest form? What type of shit is that?' Christopher taught but ignored that right after another message appeared.

'??? = New weapon gained: Spear of Armageddon!'

"Spear?" Christopher asked and wielded the spear that killed the Ogre and was thrust into the ground.

'Spear of Armageddon and her powers are now available' spoke the female voice of his system while the spear transformed itself into a small pipe-like object that disappeared in golden light too.

"Show me that spear again," said Christopher as the object appeared in his hand, and transformed back into the spear, so he hid his sword and started 'fighting' the air in front of him with his new weapon.

The spear had a wooden body with a golden handle and that had a lot of ornaments with the same golden color.

The tip of it was a big blade that looked like it was from a small sword and thanks to this, the spear's length was almost two meters.

While fighting, the spear was releasing a wave of red lightning horizontally and vertically while when Christopher pierced the ground with its tip and pulled it out towards someone, it sent a small wave of stone-like shards that way.

The shards were holding together because of the same red lightning that the wave contained and was constantly covering them, dealing more damage.

"Interesting, I'll keep it..." spoke Christopher when he suddenly felt a gentle touch on his left shoulder.

"My savior," a sweet voice spoke and when Christopher turned, he saw Melina, the merchant's daughter, with fifty men, armed with primitive pipes, rocks, and sticks.

One of them came closer and spoke "We came to help you mister but... heh, we can see you already killed that beast."

Christopher smiled and bowed a little.

"Thank you for your concern guys. Are you all alright?" he asked in concern.

All of them nodded, especially Melina who clinged herself on Christopher's left arm with a wide smile, sniffing him a little.

'Ahhh, his sent, and look is so good hehehe~' she thought with a dreamy look.

"Do you want to come to our town? We may not have much but we can pay you for saving us," suddenly spoke the man that stood near Christopher and all remaining nodded.

Christopher looked at them and nodded, "I don't need money... but a rather place to stay, if it's okay."

All of them nodded and thanked me, while Melina whispered something into Christopher's left ear, "You can stay in my bedroom if you want?"

"Sorry, I'm married," Christopher responded without hesitation and started walking with the man that he talked with before.

Melina snorted and crossed her hands, following them.

"What is your name?" asked Christopher as the man responded "Jack, Mister."

"Nice to meet you Jack but stop calling me Mister, I'm Christopher," he spoke and shook his hand with Jack who smiled rather broadly.

Jack then looked at him a little closer and noted, "Red eyes, white fangs, little pale skin, you must be a vampire huh."

"Yeah, is that a problem?" Christopher asked back at which Jack just shook his head "Sorry to make you feel like that, that was not my intention."

"Someone from our town may be scared of your kind, but vampire is always better than Orcs or Ogres. At least I think that..."

Then, Jack's eyes turned lifeless.

"I don't think you would come to our town to rape our women until they die and then rapping them until they dissolve into dust or eat them... right?" asked Jack with a rather creepy, possessive smile.

"Nah don't worry friend. I don't want to hurt anyone." replayed Christopher in a calm, friendly tone.

Jack nodded, glad he didn't need to kill another Vampire and the group walked towards the town with happy steps while Sex and Wives were the most heard and pretty obvious topic in their conversation.

...

After forty minutes of walking, the group came to the gates of the town, which was covered in... flames.

"What happened?!" shouted the group while Melina started running towards the town with tears, screaming "Father!"

Christopher with Jack started running after her with slight concern.

"Melina! Stay right there!" Christopher shouted and she stopped.

Turning her face towards him, Christopher's heart cracked in pain.

It's always a painful sight for him when he sees a girl crying, it might be the biggest bitch in the world but still, it's painful sight if she is in tears.

Her 'red' eyes were showing how much the thought about her dad's death hurt, and scared her, while her cheeks were covered with her tears that were slowly falling, wetting the ground.

Christopher didn't wait and ran past her with excellent speed.

All the time, his eyes were locked with hers until he passed through the gate using his teleporting powers.

Arriving at the town, the only thing on his mind was vengeance, vengeance for Melina's tears that appeared out of nowhere.

Looking straight ahead, he saw around seventy women dressed in medieval dress in the middle of the town.

Few of them were young girls, but most were mature women with sinful bodies and gorgeous faces.

Looking around, the women were surrounded by ten men who had their backs turned to them, protecting them against almost thirty orcs.

The orcs were using axes, swords, spears, and other equipment, while wearing metal plates, using them like armor.

"These Idiots look pretty evolved. System?" asked Christopher as his field of view was now looking like a mission menu.

⋘ Help the people of this town against the orcs' invasion and gain rewards! ⋙

"Godammit, I knew it! Hmm, but what rewards are you talking about?" his interest was piqued.

["Don't ask silly questions. Just help them"] replayed Ardelean.

"Stop meddling in my business Ardelean! I would do it even without your annoying orders!" he replayed as the Spear of Armageddon appeared in his hand.

"Hmm, I think it's time to see what you can do my love."

"System, show me my stats," he said and hid in a near-dark corner.

"Buy all three available" he spoke and it happened.

["Are you ready now?"] asked Ardelean with a slight hessitation and Christopher nodded with a smile.

["Fine, go there and kick their ass! Let's see what this new baby can do!"] he spoke with determination which formed even bigger blood thirsty smile on Christopher's face.

"I have a really deep proposal Ardelean."

["Yeah?"]

"Stop fucking bossing me around and telling what I should do until I would really need your help!"

["Fine..."] Ardelean replayed.

Christopher started being covered in darkness as he suddenly apeared behind the thirty orcs with his spear.

"Vertical storm!" he shouted and slamed the spear vertically against the ground.

"..."

"Nothing happened? That's weird," spoke Christopher as at least twenty orcs turned at him.

He was looking at the spear with disappointment, "I though that I'm doing it correc-" he wanted to spoke more but suddenly, a blood-red lightning exploded from the ground and hit the twenty orcs that were close to him, killing them on the spot.

Remaining ten that were fighting the ten men suddenly stoped and turned at Christopher too, who was waving at them with surprised face, thinking 'That was instakill?! Nice!'

["I must say, THAT was pretty impresive,"] Ardelean spoke as a clapping gif appeared in Christopher's field of view.

"ROOAAAAR!" the orcs suddenly felt a wave of fear so they roared at him and two attacked him, but what happened made their face shocked.

When they wanted to slash Christopher into thousand pieces, they launched their swords at him but on the way, the blades of their weapons disappeared from existence.

Christopher remained on the spot with the same smile but inside, he was really surprised.

'This darkness shield is stronger than that I used before. The blades of their weeapons litterally disappeared and it's INVISIBLE! HOW CAN BE A DARKNESS FUCKING INVISIBLE?'

His mind was in chaos so Ardelean just remained silent. After all, he was stunned too.

After the silent treatment he got, Christopher woke up from his stuppor and spinned his spear in the air, attacking the closest two who threw away their destroyed weapons and cracked their fists.

"Army of lightning," he whispered, wanting to slash the orcs at half but they dodged so the spear's tip just scratched their armors.

*Tsk, Christopher clicked his tongue, but suddenly, the orcs got surrounded from each side by twelve red portals that started shooting red lightning, frying them on the spot.

Astonished, he thought 'I like this spear!' and launched himself on the remaining eight orcs.

Three of them stayed fighting with the ten man while five started runing away.

"Covards," whispered Christopher as he pointed the palm of left hand at them, releasing a hook that was made from pure darkness.

The hook resembled an arrow and flew at them, acting like alive as it pierced the chests of all of them and Christopher pulled them back.

The hook then disappered and, scared for their lives, they immediatelly kneeled on the ground, begging to be spared.

Looking right, they saw the three remaining orcs being butchered by the ten man, which maked them shudder in fear even more.

But the fear exploded when Christopher in enormous speed appered few inches from their faces with blood-red eyes and blood-thirsty smile enveloped slightly in shadows.

"Please, don't kill us!!" they begged but the main gate suddenly opened and Christopher's group ran inside.

"Thomas!" "Mark!" "Jason!" "Roland!" "Adam!" the women started shouting their husbands' names while running towards them.

Christopher looked at them and smiled, mainly when he saw Melina running to one of the ten man while screaming "Father!!!"

But his smile immediatelly disappeared when he looked back at the orcs who understood their destiny.

"You have five seconds, after that, I'll hunt you all," he spoke and started counting.

"1..." the orcs started running away from him as fast as they can, while holding their wounds from the darkness hook.

"2..." Christopher smiled and waited until the orcs were in straight line.

And when they reached that, he smiled wider "5!"

As if it was a highest order, he threw the spear with so much power, that when it hit them, the first three, closest to him exploded from the lightning that was covering the spear and the remaining two falled on the ground, decapitated.

"Bullseye" he whispered as those corpses colapsed into thousands of golden sparks and entered Christopher's body.

All the nine men just looked at him with little envy about his power and his looks, but then shook their heads and thanked Christopher for help.

"You saved my daughter Adventurer. I want to thank you. Come with me." spoke Melina's father and walked to his shop across th square.

He was 190 cm tall with big muscles and Kkona moustache.

He wore a medieval white shirt, black pants and leather apron while holding a small bloody hammer.

"I never saw someone fighting orcs with hammer haha" laughed Christopher as he looked at the Merchant's hamer, covered in blood and with some pieces from orcs' eyes were still on the handle.

Entering the shop, the air was dim and filled with smoke from a nearby furnance. Only a few rays of light were able to enter due to holes in the curtains that were working as a door.

"Well, you don't have time to think about what weapon you take when an invasion is happening in front of you right? You take whatever you can to slam their skulls with, hahahahaha" laughed the man as he grabbed the bucket of a cold watter and spew it entirely on himself.

His body was releasing a hot steam as Christopher just smiled, and nodded.

'This man is really something,' flew through Christopher's mind.

"By the way, I'm Mark the Merchant, and this is my house and shop. I can upgrade your weapons and help you with enchantments if you want. My hands can do magic if you know what I mean, hahaha," the man chuckled.

"Heh, I'm Christopher. What do you mean by Enchantments?" asked Christopher in confusion.

"The red lightning that you used in the battle was enchantment. Show me that spear." replayed Mark and showed his hand.

Christopher gave her to him rather willingly, and Mark's eyes widdened.

"The spear of Armageddon? Where did you get her?" Mark shuddered and looked at the blade with eyes of obsession.

"Two enchantments, lightning and earth, blade made from the most resistant dwarfs' iron that even dragon's fire can't destroy or melt and handle made from tree of life who's wood is the most strongest and most resistand on this planet! It's a piece of art~"

"I can help you to reach the true potential of this weapon... if you want of course," spoke Mark, pretty exited.

Christopher smiled and nodded "Yeah I want that. And what about this one."

Pulling out his greatsword he hessitated and grip the handle tighter.

Mark saw it and handed the spear to him "Don't worry, you are save here. I don't have evil intentions."

Christopher nodded and handed the sword to him, while hidding the spear to his inventory and thinking what was that feeling he had.

It was like, he feared to leave that sword to someone.

"Thinbladed greatsword, why it sounds familliar? Hmmm no enchantments, basic blade and handle, pretty normal weapon for a... wait a minute!"

Mark's eyes widdened, now because of the crest he saw on the handle's end.

He placed the sword into a hot fireplace he had near him and waited for a few minutes.

Then, he said to Christopher to pull him out.

Christopher did that and the blade was orange, while glowing with slight light.

The blade was slowly absorbing the heat and when Christopher slowly swayed with the sword, the blade covered itself with orange fire.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" the man laughed.

"How much lucky you must be to have a weapons like that" Mark was shaking with his head in disbelieve at which Christopher replayed "What do you mean?"

"I mean what I said! You, my friend, are the owner of the two of four Royal Capital strongest treassures. The Undead King's blade and The spear of the Queen of Armageddon!"

"Queen of Armageddon? Undead King? What do you mean, who are they?" Christopher still didn't understand.

"Meet me later at night and I tell you everything but now, you should rest. Come, I'll show you where you can stay for now." Mark spoke and walked out from his house.

Christopher followed him but when he came out, only then he looked around at the town.

It looked pretty even when it was mostly destroyed because of the orcs.

The town had at least thirty wooden houses, ten shops, church, well, fountain and other interesting things.

It was all surrounded by high, wooden plot with two gates.

On Christopher's right, in the distance, can be seen a small mountain where the sun was slowly trying to hide itself, letting the moon to come and take it's place.

"I heard you are a vampire" Mark spoke which woke Christopher from his stuppor.

"Yeah, I am. But don't worry. I don't kill anyone." Christopher immediatelly noted.

"HAHAHA" Mark laughed "Yeah I know. But still, you need blood and my daughter need husband."

Christopher almost choked when he heard that.

"Don't you think she is beautifull?" asked Mark and pointed to a city's well.

Christopher nodded instantly "Yeah... she is," while looking at the spot where Mark is pointing, seeing Melina in distance, filling a bucked with water.

A slight breeze was playing with her hair while her smooth body was pressing against the walls of the well, letting numerous man astonished by this sight.

"I'm pretty old and I can't forever protecting her. You see, she was kidnapped while I was on my way home. When I came here to prepare myself to find her, this invasion happened and I was stucked here."

Mark sighed and continued "Without you, she would be already raped and dead so thank you again. For saving my daughter, my town and me. That's why I want you to myrry her. You are capable of protecting her as well as love her I think. Please?"

Christopher sighed "Sorry but... I'm already married."

Mark opened his eyes wide, but then spoke with a slight mischievous smile "But is that really a problem? I mean, who wouldn't want two wives right?"

"I mean yes but I already have three..." Christopher responded.

"You lucky bastard," Mark looked at him in disbelieve with a wide smile but shook his head.

"Please, at least protect her. She can give you blood you know. And I don't think you would like man's blood... right?"

Christopher shuddered when he heard that and nodded "Fine than, deal."

Mark nodded in satisfaction and started walking again towards a building with a sign saying 'Tavern'.

"Heey Jackie, how are you friend" spoke Mark and Jack immediately smiled when he saw his two friends.

"Mark, Christopher. Come in, come in. What I can give you guys." he spoke while pointing at near free table.

The tavern looked pretty dim, with a bar and bartender Jack opposite the door, eight tables around and staircase to the first and second floor where were rooms for guests.

"Ussual for me Jackie. What do you want Christopher. It's on me..."

"No! It's on the house Christopher. You freed me from that f*cking village so it's on me. Plus, you can stay here as long as you want. I have few free rooms," spoke Jack while clearing their table and pointing at the staircase.

"Thanks, do you have blood?" spoke Christopher with smile at which Jack nodded "Yeah, we had a donation from... well, from her," and pointed towards the door.

Christopher turned his face and saw Melina with slightly red face, waving at him and her father.

He nodded and ordered, then stood up and walked to her with elegant steps.

When he arrived in front of her, he bent closer to her left ear and gently whispered with sweet 'tone' "Thank you, Melina~."

A jolt of electricity flew through her as she unconsciously huged him, sniffing his sent and melting in his arms.

She looked like charmed at which Mark just smiled and taked a sip from his brandy "Heh, she's just like her mother. Ahhh, I miss you Lin..."

...
