["Hey buddy, long time no see my friend. Or hear? Whatever..."] replayed Arelean in a somewhat robotic tone.
'What happened, I... I thought I died,' said Christopher with his inner voice as he internally sighed in relief.
He was glad that someone was with him in this place.
'But, what happened to your voice?' asked Christopher in a worried tone.
["We are going to talk about that later, but now, you wanted an Adventure while you were shoping with your wives right?"] Ardelean spoke while excitement could be heard in his voice.
Christopher raised his eyebrows 'Well yeah. I was full of energy and shopping was pretty boring for me, why?' the last word came with great hesitation.
["Then, here we are! Welcome to Aragos, the world of Adventures and the home of the Darkness of our Universe~"] spoke Ardelean, and a white sign saying 'Aragos' appeared in the middle of Christopher's field of view for a few seconds.
Christopher looked around, but everything looked similar to Earth.
An empty field with a forest nearby, a blue sky with few clouds, bright sun, but the only thing that stood out was not the nature of this place, but Christopher's clothes themselves.
He looked like a medieval adventurer.
A white shirt with dark brown, leather pants and pair of brown leather boots.
His black hair had grown to his shoulders and on his back was hanging a western greatsword, hidden in a leather sheet.
The same type of sheet, but smaller and empty was hanging on his waist and from his wrists towards his elbows he had leather armor.
"Heh very funny, but these clothes are a little old for me, don't you think?" Christopher spoke with a wondering tone but in the next second, he heard a response.
A response carried by a young and sweet female voice with a mysterious tone, "I think you look beautiful Adventurer~... What's your name?"
Christopher looked around to find the place from where the voice came but he couldn't find anyone.
"Did you get my gift Adventu- ohhh I see, you didn't take it huh." was heard from another direction, but this time, the voice was somewhat sad and contained a little disappointment so Christopher got up and pulled out his sword, "Who are you? Show yourself!"
The only response he got was cute laughter that started echoing around.
"Hahaha, no need to be so harsh on me dear Adventurer~. I'm not going to hurt you."
Christopher started getting impatient and tried to use his special vision but for some reason, it didn't work.
⋘ ! Ability is Locked ! ⋙
"What?" he looked worriedly at his hand and tried to use some of his powers, but nothing worked.
Looking at his hand, his attention was suddenly piqued by a small golden circle lying on the ground, so he picked it up and carefully examined it.
"What is this?" he asked and Ardelean immediately responded, ["This is a great rune of reviving. Use it to respawn yourself, but it can be used only one time."]
After hearing the explanation, a ⋘ Picked-Reviving Rune (1x) ⋙ sign appeared on the right side of Christopher's field of vision.
'Respawn? Is this some kind of 'game prank'?' thought Christopher and Ardelean just stayed silent, wishing it was the case.
Looking at the rune, a soft female hand suddenly appeared and touched Christopher's.
"This is my gift for you my sweet Adventurer," spoke the girl.
"I can clearly see that you are Maidenless," she added and Christopher's blood-red eyes widened.
"Let me become your Maiden, Adventurer~."
Christopher looked up and saw the face of the most beautiful girl he ever saw in his life.
Don't get me wrong, his wives are incredibly beautiful too and all but, *ahm, dude, this girl was another level, you know what I mean?
It's like Christopher's wives are all Tier 3 weapons and this girl is a f*cking Tier 5 man!
She's just another whole level!
Her grey eyes were staring at Christopher's face while her hand was gently caressing his left cheek.
"You are somehow different than other Adventurers that are here..." she spoke and her voice, and touch sent shivers through Christopher's body.
"H-How am I different?" Christopher asked nervously.
The girl blushed and looked down, "You are more... gentle and patient. You are reminding me of those good old adventurers who always protected us, until-"
She bit her lip in hesitation, while placing her other hand on her chest, looking at him again with pleading eyes.
"Let me become your maiden, please. I will guide you to the core as I should."
Her silver hair was falling on her light white dress that was hiding her beautiful and sinful body.
Christopher was now 190cm tall and the maiden was only 170cm tall and was looking at him with pleading eyes.
With just one look on her body, Christopher blushed and his heart started beating widely as he slowly lifted his hand and wanted to place it on her cheek.
The maiden closed her eyes, but when Christopher's hand almost touched her face, the sound of someone approaching was heard.
The problem was, that the girl was for Christopher just too beautiful and it was hard to let his eyes leave her face to check what made the sound.
A fireball the size of a baseball ball suddenly flew towards him from a side and because of the girl's beauty, he didn't have time to register it.
It crashed into his stomach, dealing fire damage and sending him a few steps behind, away from that girl.
⋘ ! Fire damage ! ⋙
Christopher fell to his knees and started screaming from the pain as a small orange-colored line appeared below in his vision.
"AAAAHHHHHH!" he screamed while thinking, 'What is this pain?!'
"SISTER?! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" the silver-haired maiden stopped on the ground and shouted angrily at her 'sister' who appeared near them.
She was wearing a light orange dress, the same color as her hair and eyes that were burning with the flames of rage, while she started forming another fireball, a little bigger than the previous one, and with small steps, she was slowly approaching them.
"You disobeyed our queen's orders sister. We are forbidden to help or talk to adventurers and you know that!"
The silver-haired maiden looked at the ground while biting her bellow lip with hatred, "But, the witches are the ones who corrupted them."
The orange hair maiden frowned and rolled her eyes, "Yes, those whores did it! Fucking with the adventurers to the point of dying so they can harvest their souls for black magic rituals."
"They corrupted them to the point that now, the only thing they want from us and every girl is sex and if we don't want them, they just r*pe us! Do you know what that means?"
"No!" spoke the silver-haired maiden.
"Haaah, that means, we can't trust any adventurer anymore! Yes, they should have helped us against the dark but now, we are alone."
"AHHH!" the flaming maiden ruffled her hair, "How many times is the past going to repeat itself? I was in the situation of the helpless maiden and trust me, it's not a pleasant feeling, sister!"
Then she pointed at Christopher, who was now lying on the ground in pain with a little burned shirt while holding his stomach that was injured, "I spoke to you, trusted, explained to you how dangerous Adventurers are, yet you are here with this filth, wanting to be just used!" the word filth came with a big amount of disgust.
'Ugh, w-where did I get myself into again?' taught Christopher, while looking at the maiden with orange hair as the pain was getting worse with each second.
The silver-haired maiden nodded for herself, looked at her 'sister', and shouted, "Yes I want so what! Do you know why I hate everyone? Because you, queen, and everyone are just boring and scared Idiots!"
"We can't be locked forever in that damn Tree!"
Then, she bent to Christopher and placed her hand on his injured belly, casting something in an unknown language, while her 'sister' was looking at her in disbelief.
A faint green light started escaping the silver-haired maiden's hands and after she said the last words of her incantation, Christopher's wound started slowly healing.
The maiden slowly pulled away her hand from Christopher's six-pack with a slight blush and unknown desire.
"That's enough!" the maiden with orange hair frowned, grabbed her sister's hand, and before Christopher could do something, they together disappeared.
But before they left, the silver-haired maiden sneakily dropped a piece of paper on the ground, next to Christopher.
["Well, that was a little dramatic don't you think my friend?"] commented Ardelean as a small red potion appeared in Christopher's hand.
["Drink it and stop acting like a shit Christopher. You choose this so live with it!"] he added and Christopher drank the potion in one row, while he picked up the piece of paper and shoved it into his pocket.
After the last drop of the substance left the bottle, it disappeared and Christopher was on his feet again, while the HP numbers started slowly coming back to the 100.
"What was that?" he asked and licked his lips, while his eyes started glowing with desire for more.
["That was blood and now, back to the business. While you had your little lovey-dovey cutscene here with that maiden, I looked at your stats, powers, and other things."]
["You want to know the good thing or the bad thing first."] spoke Ardelean in a serious tone.
"Stats?" Christopher asked with a raised eyebrow.
["Yeah stats, I am now inside something you 'humans' call system, thanks to your stupidity and recklessness! Now, good or bad thing? Choose!"] Ardelean asked again, a little impatient.
"Y-you are in a system?!" asked Christopher in disbelief, "How did that happen?"
["Shortly? I became a guide in this system thanks to you. I tell you everything later but now, choose finally. GOOD OR BAD!"]
"Fine, bad," Christopher responded and rolled his eyes.
["Your powers, bloodline, skills, everything I thought you about combat, magic, darkness, vampire powers, and dragon powers literally went to shit!"] Ardelean summarized it.
["All knowledge is gone, BUT! The good thing? You can learn it again, but not for free of course. You need points for that and how do you gain points?"]
"Let me guess, killing?" replayed Christopher in annoyance.
["Bingo!"] shouted Ardelean as an animation of clapping hands appeared in Christopher's field of view together with a sign.
⋘ ! Ten points for Ravenclaw ! ⋙.
Seeing that, Christopher rolled his eyes.
"Harry Potter reference? Really?"
["So what? I like those movies..."]
["Now, as you said, you gain these points from killing, looting, and harvesting."] continued Ardelean.
Christopher opened his eyes wide, wanting to ask something, but Ardelean quickly cut him off.
["Wait, later Christopher, someone is approaching you at high speed. You should prepare for your first fight in this new world! Aren't you excited?"]
When Ardelean ended his sentence, a big tree from the nearby forest flew towards Christopher, who quickly rolled to the left.
"What the fuck?!" was all he said before three big orcs with grey skin ran from the forest towards him.
Armored with a club, they launched themselves at him at high speed.
"Let's see if I can remember something," said Christopher, swaying his sword, and trying to get used to his weight, while three health icons appeared above the orcs' heads.
Suddenly female voice saying, 'Scanning the Enemy' was heard as the world around slowed and turned red, directly showing Christopher the weak and critical spots of the orcs.
"This is awesome!" shouted Christopher with a wave of happiness and started running towards the orcs.
The orcs were wearing primitive clothes made from leather and some human cloth, while their big and sharp teeth were decorated with small metal circles, passing through holes in their teeth.
Two of them were bald and the remaining one had a few black hairs on his head.
Their eyes were glowing with determination as they suddenly stopped running and all three of them roared at the same time toward Christopher's direction.
"This is our territory! Leave Adventurer or your body will be added to our soup!'' said the black-haired orc while the two bald orcs nodded.
Christopher stopped running too and pulled his greatsword slowly out from the sheet on his back, holding it with two hands.
"That's not going to happen, my friend."
"Well, we warn you. I'm sorry Lady of Withpoke but he asked for it. You should discipline your lovers," replayed the black-haired orc as his club started glowing with green power and he smashed it against the ground, while a few stones flew into the air.
"YOU ARE GOING TO DIE ADVENTURER!" shouted the black-haired orc and started running with his comrades towards Christopher, quickly closing the distance.
Christopher just smiled slightly and prepared himself for his first fight.
"Heh, you have no idea how many times I heard that phrase from a lot stronger opponents than you."
Then, he launched himself toward the orcs at high speed, jumped, and spun in the air as his blade met the wooden club of the black-haired orc.
