*Gorgor*
"Is she in position already?!" King Radia spoke hoarsely to his lords as he entered his throne room.
He was already very impatient at this point, he wanted to restore his world already! He had waited all these long years and finally the opportunity was here yet time was been wasted?!
What was taking them so long?!
He already did most of the hard work here by going to Triven himself and bringing the Illuminator to Gorgor. Yes, he alone did that, beating all the odds including restraining his own son, just so he could save his world, as a true king he was.
Andreas was still in bonds, Kind Radia just did not trust him well enough to release him just yet, he knew he would try to stop him, stop the saving of Gorgor, so long as it meant keeping the Trivenian safe.
Of course he understood that he loved her and cared deeply about her, but now really wasn't the time for emotions to rule the day. He knew the Trivenian was taking a risk by agreeing to restore Gorgor's light because it might drain her or at most, kill her but he could not careless, he world came first to him and so should it to his son. But until he is yet to understand that, he shall keep remaining in bonds whenever he was to make strong and fearful decisions.
"We are ready to proceed your eminence" lord Ferral, who was put in charge of the whole process reported immediately.
"Really?" King Radia's face finally lightened, "and the Trivenian?" He asked.
"She is already stationed at the core" lord Ferral bowed.
"Good then" king Radia breathed, "begin immediately!"
"Of course your greatness" he bowed again before leaving.
"Bring me Andreas!" He ordered a guard standing beside him.
He wanted his son to seat beside him and experience the beautiful and magical scene of life coming back to their world even if someone he loved was putting her life on the edge to do that. However, that won't make the sight any less beautiful.
The palace was situated at the center of Gorgor itself and his throne room was built in such a way that it had the best view. It's walls were glass and all of Gorgor was visible to him and his lords from in there and there was no better time than now, to appreciate its structure.
He had already called for all the lords of Gorgor, to come watch the sight with him, and there was no way he was going to let his son miss it.
He had not thoughts of loosing his bonds, but he was going to make him sit beside him, and admire the sight together.
"He is your grace" the guard came back with Andreas following behind him with another guard beside them.
"Come son…" king Radia called happily, "come sit with me in this time of merry for we are blood and my joy is never complete without your presence" he smiled warmly at him.
Andreas did not even buldge at his words, he only stared at him with anger and rage, which king Radia noticed very well.
"Oh don't tell me you are still mad at your old man" he dragged his words while spoke, basically in a way to tease him. "Let's put it all in the past son" he urged. "Come sit with me ok? You don't want to miss the view" he winked at him.
Andreas had a lot to say to him right now but because of his mouthless face, it all went down his throat causing a hard ball to form down there, making him subject to more pain. He was not surprised by this father's actions, afterall, he never listen to him and that was reason why they were in this situation right now and now again, he was about to forcefully have his way and there was really nothing he could do to stop him.
"You never wish peace between us" king Radia sighed after getting no positive response from Andreas. "You always make it seem as if I am the worst at parenting" he finally said before using is telekinesis to force him on the chair beside him and bounded him to it.
Andreas struggle between breathes but his efforts were futile.
"I do not care what you think or have in mind to say!" King Radia yelled directly into his ear, "but you are going to sit there and watch OUR world take it's real form once again!"
Andreas finally gave up, there was really nothing he could do now. His father had totally subdued him and he was currently under his control. All he could do now was wish on all the stars of Gorgor that Lilith lives because if she dies, what he was going to do immediately he was out of this bonds would be totally beyond anyone's imagination.
*The core*
The bonds restraining Lilith were finally loosened by one of the guards that brought her to Gorgor's core. Her glow was no more, as her powers were in no significant use. She stretched herself a bit as she had been sored from the whole rumbles at Triven plus, the bonds were a bit too tight.
Before she was done with stretching and breathing properly for the first time in a long time, the guards already left her alone with the core.
It was a crystalline cave, it contained labyrinthine network of supposed glittering crystals but all light was lost at the death of the core. Looking around her, Lilith concluded resurrecting core's energy and amplifying its power was going to bring light to this majestic world and it was going to be more beautiful than her storybook could ever paint.
She took a breath immediately and place her hand on the celestial orb directly before her. It's stood on a defined alignment of crystals and it served as extra protection for the core it held within. It was imbued with the essence of the stars and the celestial harmonics. 'This world was just too magnificent' she thought to herself.
With her hand on the orb for quite a while now, she finally decided to start process.
"This is all for you Andreas" she breathed through her mouth and immediately began to charge up the core with all the light that came with her mutation.
Her glow was very radiant immediately she began. She shut her eyes so hard just so she could be very focused, she believed she needed all the concentration she could get right now. As the light left her for the core, they flowed through her veins, with visible cracks on her body, showing its passage with the velocity at which it was moving and the pressure it caused on her newly mutated being.
"Arghhhh!" She let out a very loud scream, while hot tears ran down her cheeks with the struggle of which gets to her jaw first.
Now the pain began to kick in! She could feel every part of her body going numb bit by bit, and all she could here was a man's voice, coming like echos in the cave, telling her how charged the core was.
"It's 49% charged….58% already! I appreciate your speed but you have to take iy easy so you don't die before the core is fully charged, it's energy is very powerful and drawing light from you will be like sucking your life out. 67%…"
The information the man was passing unto her was not something she did not already know. She knew what she signed up for, this was a core that brought light to a whole planet and it's inhabitants. So death happening to her right won't come as a surprise to her, Infact she was already feeling the warmth that came with its presence, but she could not go yet, she shouldn't! She must finish what she started and at least make Andreas happy.
"78%…."
That was her only wish, to see him happy and she was going to fufill it.
"Please father" she managed to whisper, "help me"
"87%…. Almost there! 93%…"
' know you would not be mostly proud of me right now for what I am doing' she continued the plea within her. 'But please grant me your strength and endurance' her tears kept flowing freely but now they glowed too with the essence of her light so did her hair, down to the tip of it.
"99%…."
'Please father' with this final plea, it was as if the pain became unbearable too unbearable that her endurance failed her. She let out a loud gasped and dropped on the floor like a piece of clothe, with total absence of life in her being.
