"Scream that loud again and I will personally drain out all the air in your throat" Thygas threatened, sending chills down Rains spine. She was just getting to realize that she was not alone and not just that, she was in an unknown place too!
Thygas slid his fingers beneath his long shiny black hair and gently rubbed his hearing chip basically to ease all the stress Rain's scream put on it.
Rain was so confused. She looked to the side of the room where his voice came from and was greeted with what she might, to the best of her knowledge call...the most beautiful being on Omania.
His perfectly toned arm and trunk muscles utterly failed in hiding under the black shirt he wore and his long powerful legs seemed like they had bonded really well with the black pants he wore beneath.
The two upper buttons of his shirt were not fastened and she got the lease of savoring over his exposed perfectly white skin and right on his well built shoulders rested deep black hair. She suddenly felt the urge to run her fingers through them but something more interesting caught her attention and that was his face. She could literally say that this man was beautiful! His perfectly shaped brows and well crafted nose just brought more harmony to his really cool facial features. His jawline was everything and his lips were surprisingly pink even with all the darkness he emitted.
"Eh eh mm" Thygas cleared his throat loudly, jolting her back to reality. He could see very clearly that she was checking him out but was not surprised at all, of course he was very good looking and Rain herself was not an exception to girls who check him out.
"Who are you? And where is this place?" She manage to ask, tucking her loose curly hair behind her ear. She did that basically to hide the blush on her face. There was seriously no better time than now to appreciate her dark skin tone, at least she was sure her cheeks were not all pink and flushed but the blush did tickle her a bit.
"My name is Thygas and this is Gorgor" he answer calmly.
'Gorgor?' Was she dreaming right now?
"Gorgor?!" She looked very surprised.
"Yes Rain" he breathed out of frustration. He was actually too tired to answer her, just like earlier but sadly he could not knock her out again because this time around, she might never wake. He knew Trivenians were weak generally so he did not want to take chances. "This is Gorgor"
"Wait" she widened her eyes, "you know my name? How?"
"Andreas told me" he simply said, finally making himself comfortable on the couch beside him other than standing like he did earlier. He needed some comfort at least to not loose his mind while answering her questions.
"Andreas?" Her shock cusions were really having a hard time in taking all these surprises in. "Isn't he like Lilith's boyfriend, prince of Gorgor?"
"Yes he is" he nodded.
"So why did he tell you my name and how did I get here exactly?" She asked again, pat the bed she sat on, to emphasize how much she wanted to know of what happened to her.
"What is the last thing you remember?" Thygas asked, rubbing his temples. He was really running out of patience.
"Oh well…" she paused a bit to think. "I remember going to see the grand sensei in his office, he had called me for something I guess…but that was in the middle of our mutation roll call right?…" she bit her lower lip, rolling her blue eyes as if the answer was in the room with her and she just had to find it.
"Absolutely" Thygas answered finally. "But here is the thing, the supposed grand sensei who called you was me"
"You?" Rain furrowed.
"Yes" Thygas immediately took the looks of grand sensei Velskud which made Rain let out a loud gasp. "Me" he turned back to himself.
"Omg!" Rain could not believe her eyes. "How were you able to do that?"
"It's my ability naturally" he said casually.
"You mean you can be anyone you like and you were born that way?" She wanted to understand more.
"Yes Rain. I can do other cool stuff too but lets just continue with how you got here" his voice remained stern.
"Oh yeah" Rain could not believe she almost forgot about that, she was very mesmerized by what he just did and the most amazing part was that he was actually born that way, what could be cooler?! Where she and the people of Triven get to undergo mutations in order to possess cool abilities but she was not sure she has ever had of someone who could take on other people's looks.
Wait! Was she even listening to Thygas? She was lost in her thoughts that she forgot he was talking.
"Andreas suspected that you were going to be the light illuminator so he asked me to help him save you, for the sake of Lilith. Apparently, according to him, Lilith would die if anything happens to you. So, that's how I got to get you out of Triven and brough you here in Gorgor, in my house, on my bed" he stressed the last word.
However, Rain decided to be nonchalant about the emphasis he made and went ahead to ask another question.
"Where is Lilith now?"
"She is with Andreas" He answered. "Or should I say her corpse is with Andreas"
"What do you mean her corpse?!" Chills ran down Rain's spine.
"Look out that window" Thygas pointed at the vast window situated at one end of the room. He cleared the illusion of darkness he had placed there and told her to look at the view. "Do you like that view?"
Rain seemed confused but decided to obey him. "It is extremely beautiful but still does not answer my question of Lilith's whereabouts" she glared at him, nurturing a tiny spark of anger.
"Well, its not been more than 24 bourse since your friend Lilith sacrificed her life to bring back Gorgor's light and turn it into this beautiful place you are seeing right now" he said coldly before bringing back the illusion to make himself feel comfortable.
"She somehow turned out to be the illuminator other than you who we thought was destined to…" he continued speaking, definitely sure she was still listening even though he paid no attention to her which was why he did not notice how tears streamed down her cheeks. "….and we ended up not saving her. She was forcefully brought here by king Radia and eventually, she sacrificed her life to lighten Gorgor's core.
"I need to see her right now" Rain finally spoke, sniffing her nose and wiping her eyes. "Where is my friend? Take me to her!" She was beginning to loose it.
"Lilith is fine"…
