On his way back from the mansion after his encounter with his brother, Evans couldn't believe all the shocking intel Eric revealed to him.
He couldn't help but wonder if the tragedy of losing his Nanny in the past affected him so much to the point, he couldn't even stop for a moment to think straight or had any doubts about Rachel's choice in living them.
Or maybe, about the actual reason why she left. Did their father somehow have a hand in it? Since Evans realized his Dad used to wonder why they were so attached to Nanny Rachel instead of their stepmother Clara.
This was the question that mostly had him thinking and needed confirmation.
All the lies his Dad told him and made up could prove he somehow had a hand in it, that was why he and Eric couldn't return home after they left.
He needs to know!
Should he consider meeting Rachel Sanders now?..... Will she even agree to meet him? And Would she be able to sincerely confess to him about what happened that made her leave? No way!
These confusing thoughts run through Evans's mind as he sat behind the wheels to return back to the hospital.
"No! not yet... I should wait until Eric finishes his investigations and know exactly what went on." Evans uttered to him sounding convinced.
He realized he shouldn't let this curiosity plague his mind, then maybe, end up messing things up with the steps he was planning to take.
Anyway, It's was too late for him to approach Rachel now. Why now!
After all the years of hatred Evans had for their Nanny, as well as the spite which ate deep into my heart until he couldn't recognize himself anymore, he surely hope there would be a very good convincing explanation for Rachel's choice to abandon them....for leaving them when they needed her the most.
The trip down memory lane was now over for Evans.
But concerning his problems of the past, Evans realized he should leave the past in the past and focus on the present. This was a piece of advice he wanted to abide by, but it seemed it wouldn't come easy...but maybe it would soon be over when all the truth finally comes to light!
So for now, he needed to look ahead and concentrate on his profession and his patients who needed his full attention at the moment.
Especially with Tom Carter's case. He was still in coma with no sign of response to any treatment, while the investigation was still ongoing about how his accident occurred on his way back from the camping trip with his schoolmates, and who was actually behind it.
Even though Tom's father...Todd Carter, halted all the investigation when the cops followed their investigation back to Tom's schoolmates hoping to nab the culprit amongst them, with the excuse he wanted to concentrate solely on his son's health and recovery, which seemed kind of strange for his influential reputation as CEO of White Entertainment, his brother's agency.
In any case, his duty was to take care of the patient, not to carry out investigations.
As Evans's confused thoughts a while ago faded into calmness, he reached out for his phone to call Sarah...his assistant at the hospital.
He needed a distraction from all the confusion in his head so he wouldn't ponder over it again.
Meanwhile, Sarah picked up Evans's call after a single ring.
"Did Mr.Tim come for his appointment?". He asked when he heard Sarah's voice at the other end.
"Not yet, sir...I was about to check whether he changed his appointment. Since you were living for home this morning, I decided to cancel all your appointments. And you are aware Mr. Tim mostly prefers to be examined only by you. Where are you?" Sarah asked.
"I am on my way! Call his secretary to confirm our appointment. All other appointments should remain canceled. Unless it's regarding anything critical that needs my immediate attention. I don't want to be disturbed right now." Evans's thoughts were on Mr. Tim because that man was a good distraction away from his sour mood right now.
"No problem sir...I will keep that in mind! anything else? " Sarah inquired.
"No! I will be there in a few minutes so make sure you call...
Sarah suddenly interrupted Evans before he could finish his sentence.
"He is here, Doctor! Mr. Tim just arrived..."
"Okay then! I am on my way." Eric dropped the phone and increase the speed of his car to make his way back to the hospital in a hurry.

Back the Mansion...
After Kristine went back into slumber all thanks to his doctor brother, and Jeff also left him after all his baseless mumblings about Sophia, this time around, instead of rejoining Kristine on the bed for his short nap, Eric went toward the sofa instead, to prevent another assault of Kristine's countless push.
He woke up after an hour since he didn't feel too relaxed on the sofa and it was almost twelve noon.
For the first since Eric could remember, he realized he missed his morning workout sections, all because of the insanity of this strange girl.
He had completely forgotten about his strictly everyday morning routine.
Well, the wild chase he had with Kristine around the house a while ago seemed to make up for it but not enough. Even though It didn't come close to his normal workouts.
But strangely, even though it was crazy, he enjoyed every minute of it.
Eric's room was quite spacious, with a huge glass window facing the garden, with every decoration neatly in place and a simple touch of a Men's taste here and there. On the wall were unique paintings and posters of himself from photoshoots..
Almost everything in his room was white, including the curtains, sofas, and the floor carpet which made everything spectacular.
Eric Kurt had everything he could possibly need in his room. Starting from his own personal gym for his workouts, filled with all kinds of the latest workout machines to stay fit and charming, and a royally spacious closet with all the luxurious clothing from all kinds of designs and colors famously designed.
His closet was like a clothes store warehouse, you could get lost in it as a first-timer.
As well as his huge comfortable king-sized remote-control bed, to help with a comfortable sleep throughout the night.
The bed was designed with the same features as an electric massage chair. It comforts and controls its user with the right sleeping postures to prevent any discomfort or body ache after a night's sleep.
Eric stared at the girl sleeping in his bed before he entered the gym for his late-morning workout.
Ever since this strange girl invaded the privacy of his room, she has interrupted his peace of mind. He could barely concentrate on anything worthwhile.
After an hour, Eric returned to check on the sleeping beauty in his bed. She was sleeping so peacefully as if free from all the world's problems.
Eric was sweating profusely after his exercise but felt vitalized. It was the kind of feeling he loved about his workouts. He was glad he didn't miss today's workout even though it was late.
Moments later, Eric heard a silent knock on his door as Mandy called out from behind the door.
"Superstar...I made you breakfast. Should I bring it to the room?
Eric opened the door to find Mandy by the door with a tray of different mouthwatering food. Superstar was the first name she called him after he signed his contract with White Entertainment and she still calls him that.
Mandy Lee was the twin's housekeeper for a long time now. She was a plumpy older lady with chubby cheeks, older than the twin's stepmother, Clara, who hired her into the Kurt Mansion shortly after Rachel Sanders left the house ten years ago.
"Eric dear, you didn't come down for your meals today so I thought you didn't feel like having breakfast. I came to ask if I should bring it over." Mandy uttered when Eric stood by the door.
"This isn't mine?" Eric asked eyeing the food tray in Mandy's hand.
Mandy wouldn't have brought a tray of food if she wanted to ask him first. So that meant, the food in her hand wasn't his in the first place.
Eric stared from the tray of food Mandy was holding then back to her face in question..
"Oh Yes! Jeffery told me you had a girl here who is very sick, so I decided to bring her some breakfast." Mandy answered as she pushed past Eric and entered the room before she was invited in.
"So you first thought of a stranger before me? I can't believe this!." This was what bothered Eric the most as he exclaimed, seeming upset.
Mandy ignored him and placed the tray on the bedside table when she saw Kristine deeply asleep.
She turned to finally pay attention to the grumpy guy beside her.
"Oh, don't give me that! you have legs to come down for food but you didn't, so don't blame me for thinking of the poor girl." Mandy replied mockingly.
"Poor girl? Her?" Eric pointed at Kristine in disbelief! That's because you didn't see how she behaved a while ago." Eric couldn't believe Mandy felt sorry for Kristine.
But Mandy ignored all his complaints. She laughed at Eric's childishness, then excused herself before she left his room. But not without calling out to Eric to come down for his food!
Eric was surprised his housekeeper suddenly favored Kristine over him. Even though he knew his behavior was petty and childish, he yelled back to answer Mandy's statement about telling him to come down for his food.
"I won't move an inch from my room until you bring me the same tray of food you brought her....exactly the way you served her." These were Eric's petty threats as he called out to Mandy who was already halfway down.
The Older lady couldn't help the wide smile on her face at the jealous tone in Eric's statement.
Sometimes, Eric behaved the same way even with his twin brother, if she seems to give Evans some extra attention since he mostly spends his time in his private room at the hospital than here. To Evans, his patients came first.
At least that was what she thought and scolded Evans most of the time, while Eric whines whenever she gets more worried about Evans. He made it seem like he wanted her only for himself!
"This boy will never change." Mandy chuckled softly, surprised that Eric took his whining on a poor sick girl now.
Although Mandy sometimes wonders when Eric would finally mature from all these childhood tantrums and grow up! Even though she wouldn't blame them.
Both boys were always in need of a mother figure to care for them since their mother died and left them to be raised by their father's fiancee, Clara Johnson whom their father married later on so she could take care of them. But Clara was a selfish woman and only cared for herself.
All she ever cared for was luxury and more luxury, and the status she could achieve as Nichola Kurt's wife. She never had time for the boys!
The only one thing Clara ever did worthwhile, was to hire Rachel as their nanny.
Rachel took very good care of the boys since they were five years, so they grew so attached to her. The twins even treated her like their real mother.
Well, until she took lots of money from their father and left them when they needed her the most...That was when they just completed High school.
It was around that time when Mandy was also hired as replacement to take care of them but it was never the same as their time with Rachel.
Mandy always did her best in taking care of them, but Rachel still held a special place in their hearts until today. It was a connection she was fully aware of, even after all these years.
Meanwhile, Mandy cleared her thoughts from the events of the past and got ready to fix Eric's breakfast. She planned to make it exactly as she did the girl's tray...with the exact same foods and finishing touches.
But what amused Mandy was the reaction on Eric's face once he found out that, what she made for the girl was edible for only a sick person.
Eric's whining and jealousy knew no limits, even with a sick innocent girl. But she liked it anytime he got too possessive of her...It flattered her. So cute!
Most often at times, Mandy regretted she wasn't with them since their childhood days...when they were tinny winny. She had only seen their cute pictures from when they were born.
Who wouldn't like those cute intelligent handsome boys anyway?
A knock on the door had Eric hastily move to the door, he opened it wider for Mandy to enter with his special tray. He noticed the extra touches Mandy added on the Tray to please him and he kept smiling here and there.
"Thanks, Mandy...That's more like it!"
"Finish everything on the tray, okay? I will come back after an hour to check. If you don't finish it all, you're going to get scolded, remember that!" Mandy left satisfied with the smile on Eric's face.
His smiles always affected her, not only his fans precisely.
Eric closed the door after Mandy left and entered the bathroom to prepare for a shower before he touches his food.
His mind went back to his reaction a while ago and he couldn't believe he acted so immaturely regarding Kristine in Mandy's presence.
"How embarrassing!" Eric scolded himself as he closed the glass to have a soothing shower.
The door to the bathroom later opened at the sight of the girl who was unconscious a while ago, already up and about.
However, the tray of food Mandy brought and placed on her bedside table was completely devoured, living an empty tray!
Eric stared from Kristine to the empty tray in front of her and wondered.
"Where did all the food go?" He breathed in shock!
