"Where is Aurnia? I rarely see her in the castle nowadays." King Andruche asked Queen Ysmena in the middle of breaking their fast.
"She went to the hospital early this morning. She said Aramis would be discharged today." Thalassa answered instead.
Queen Ysmena raised an eyebrow at her stepdaughter. "I don't understand why you took back your threat of punishing Aramis for his negligence in his duty, Andruche." She complained to her husband as she took a sip of water.
"Aurnia requested for the punishment to be removed, Ysmena. Besides, Aramis saved our daughter from that bullet. He had proven himself worthy of protecting our daughter. After all, don't forget that the young lad is Anderewe's son." The king answered in a proud tone.
"But, still, if it weren't for his leniency toward his responsibility, Aurnia wouldn't get abducted in the first place." The queen reasoned out, obviously irked that her husband was so impressed with Aramis' heroic deed.
