"Frank Losa aka "Big D'', John Baccalieri, and Nina Palmice. These are the figure heads of the organization we failed to take down last week in our Rico case. As you all know Alexis, Nina Palmice's best friend and Baccalieri's girlfriend came in and confessed to the saturated enforcement and crimes committed over the past decade by the crew. We had everything we needed to put them under the table but someone in this room took it upon themselves to give us up and screw us over; leaving Big D free to obliterate the streets. That's right you are hearing it from me, we have a mole. Since then we have lost all contact with Alexis and her whereabouts and I think it's safe to say we can consider the informant-op a dead issue. It seems all functioning parts of this thing has come to a complete halt.``- The chief of the FBI was marking up the board filled with names and theories.
" What now, should we try to send an undercover in?" - Asked a detective.
"Let's go after Nina Palmice instead, she just lost her friend; I think we should bring her in directly. I don't want to waste anymore time. " - The chief had a new plan to insert himself but he still faced the problem of the mole in the department. Who decided to warn Nina after the case briefing.
"We need to talk." - The mole said over a secured line.
" Okay, come to Renekies, I have a shift to work there later tonight, I'll let Big D know."- Nina responded.
"There are eyes all over that place. Meet me at Wrigley's Field tomorrow at 1p.m. I'll email you your ticket and it's better if you come alone and tell everyone later." - Instructed the mole.
"Okay, yeah, sure I can do that." - Nina confirmed before the line clicked off.
Subsequently that night, the crew were all at the bar. Nina had filled them in on the scheduled meeting she had with the mole who was on their payroll , directing most of the details to Big D. Things were really disconnected and everyone was trying to amend situations and cut loose ties.
" And what about this Lugar, has he been found?" - Big D requested to know as he twirled around his drink.
" Not yet, the guy definitely skipped town with the girl after we hit his cabin, at the moment he is no longer an issue." - John said nonchalantly.
"Find him." - That was Big D's edict.
Lugar had been sure to prevent any harm from inflicting Julie for the time being, by securing a small villa north of Bali, Indonesia. She was expecting some sort of explanation for who he was.
"Why did you decide to chase our guy out the bar that day?" - She asked.
" People were being hurt."- Lugar was brief.
"Yeah, but out of a club full of people; I don't get it. Why you?"- She was persistent and becoming frustrated.
Things were kept silent between them for a time as they sat on the floor while looking out the screen door of the room, allowing things to resinate.
"I mean, your scar totally healed on its own." - Eventually she was back in her mind, filled with reasonable doubts.
"I've hurt a lot of people." - Lugar was hesitant.
"I deserve to know something!" - Her temper flared as she stood up and walked out to the sundeck.
"I am a werewolf Julie." - The vulnerability barely escaped his lips.
She turned around and Lugar was standing right in front of her. Julie lift up his shirt to rub the area where the wound was previously before taking a step back.
" Do you love me?" - She embraced her insecurity, that was the only thing she feared coming from him.
Luagr nodded his head.
" But it's a full moon, aren't you supposed to, werewolfs are supposed to like, do something. Maybe kill me." - She said.
Lugar aggressively grabbed her and picked her up over his shoulder. Out of self defense he was scratched and smacked as she yelled for him to let her go. He then slammed her on the bed, in that moment she turned around to reach for a gun on the dresser. Unable to gain possession before he pounced on her back pinning her down and gently placed his hand under her throat.
" I love you." - He spoke softly.
Julie laid on her stomach pushing her hair out of her face as he began to undo her belt buckle and pull her pants down half way before an intimate penetration. He grabbed her neck again and arched her back towards his chest as she peered back into those eyes while they made love and he pumped all of his manhood into her.
" So what do we do now?" - Julie asked after the interaction, rubbing her feet together.
" I have to return. I have questions that I need answers to." - Lugar explained to Julie as they admired each other's presence and beauty for the remainder of the evening.
Back in Wrigley's Field, Nina had taken her seat in the stadium. It wasn't until a homerun in the bottom sixth inning when the mole appeared at her side from out of the cheering crowd; pulling her down into the seat.
"Their on to me." - he spoke quickly.
"It's something we expected to happen right, handle it." - The words came from the corner of her mouth.
"I'm not alone in their suspicions, they want to bring you in." - he continued in his hasteness approach.
" That can't happen. What do they have, why am I just hearing about this?" - Nina was already fed up.
"They have some but without subsequent evidence they won't be able to bring him down."- The mole said enthusiastically.
"You mean us. Why isn't Big D being informed about this? Why come to me directly?"- Nina was skeptical.
"Strrrrike!" - The umpired bellowed from the field.
" I wanted for you to hear me out. We both know Big D isn't capable of running things anymore, he lost sight and turned greedy."- Said the mole persuasively.
"You want to bring me in don't you?" - Nina was beginning to get out of her seat but the mole pulled her back down.
"Wait, Nina, it's time for us to establish a new leader, our kind can't even live in peace and with Big D drawing more attention and hate rather than attending to business, it's putting more pressure on us from the inner city gangs and neighborhoods. How long until they find a way to expose and destroy our industries and markets." - The mole was making points from his own desires.
"Strike!" - The umpired snapped a call again.
Nina sat there in the midst of his concerns and falsehood. The smoke was rising to the surface and people were losing faith in her boss. The one who gave her the power she had and kept her in the position of said power.
"I've heard enough. You better watch it."- She examined the mole before getting up and walking through the gate.
"I'm so sick of this hussy." - The mole mumbled under his breath following her into the concourse area.
"Striiiiike three, you're out!" - The umpire gave his final call of the exchange.
The mole had caught up to Nina and there were few people in the concourse to witness their argument. He was trying his best to convince her of the downfall of Big D. From his perspective there was enough to put their boss away for life and he believed Big D would take people and the organization down with him, including himself.
