The front of Renekies had the built of an old saloon, but instead it was made of creme color cement. Stones and rock type parking lot. The sand jumping in the air, celebrating the incoming spinning rims of trucks pulling up. Big D had arrived.
" Ahh, it feels like a holiday. Don't it feel like a holiday? Get all the family back together. See who has been up to what." - He laughed.
Julie was looking out the back of the SUV for any signs of Lugar. Her door was opened, and she exited with a strike to the groin of one of the goons before another quickly handle her, getting her under control.
Big D couldn't help but laugh - " Do you see this bitch?", he continued while standing in the lot. "Alright, where is he? Where is my man?"
Nina had come out of the bar. - " Put him downstairs."
Heroically, John bust through the door after Nina, pushing forth Lugar, whose hands were still bound. He nudged him the whole way until they both were standing in front of Big D.
Big D, while smiling, took a hard look at John before addressing his most wanted man. - " So, we finally meet. After all this back and forth chasing, with all your disrespecting and stepping out of line. I was starting to think you wanted a part of the business and for a minute, I was interested. Curious about your charisma and obsession with me, but then I said no, no, it's something else going on. He don't want the business. If he did, he wouldn't be able to have it anyway. Then it hit me, this man has no idea who he is messing with!"
It was a silence as Big D spoke. Everyone standing in the headlights. Big D had turned around looking for Julie, bringing her to her knees. Leaving Lugar's eyes to water out of frustration and leading him to try to break his hold. They had it figured out and tased him constantly to keep him in check.
" Yeah, I got yours now. What you think you can run from me. After invading my personal comfort and space. After not minding your god-damn business." - Big D was looking down right at them both, while Lugar was inching closer to Julie.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry…" - He croaked.
"What you want to do with him?" - asked Nina.
Inspired and fueled, John walked up to Big D, " You know, somehow, some way, I really would like to do this own my own. You can trust me with this. It's nothing." - he desperately whispered.
Once upon of time, John was the Ace to Big D, always side by side and growing the territory on the streets. They found each other in foster care. John was also trafficked from Sweden and went through many psychological trials and test before meeting Big D. Two vampires experimented on after being sold in the black market and smuggled into America.
Then one day, while doctors and scientist ran multiple programs and attempted DNA modifications, a man with a leopard coat walked in. A transaction took place to purchase the then boys and take them to a facility in Chicago; a vampire ward, but Big D at the time had other plans.
They had made it through intake, being stripped naked and searched like an inmate; before briefly being put in holding rooms to eventually meet the other children. Nina was already there, fussing and fighting the guards in an attempt of her defense.
She was placed next door to them, and before she knew it, Big D was explaining to her via the slit in the door about his exit plan. He was much stronger than he appeared and even in the short time of being there, witnessing her struggle for freedom was enough for him to gain the courage to do what needed to be done.
Though a young vampire, he was easily able to breach the conjoined doors, and they all trotted down the hall. John and Nina following behind him. He took a big step and lunged at the much more matured guard, hitting him with a jumping kick. Big D fought off many more white clothed guards, Nina as well.
They were being trampled by the number of men, and in that moment John was born. His speed was unleashed, and he sprinted down the hall and on the walls, swiping and clawing at the guards, assisting and enabling Big D and Nina to regain control.
Memory served them well, and they found themselves back at the intake. Word had not gotten around that there was a break-out in progress, so no one was alarmed. Big D peeked around the corner and there he was. Standing on the other side of the door was the dealer who had bought them from the doctors, he was there still signing entry documents for the two boys he had found in the underground.
John had jumped on the neck of a guard who was faced opposite of him and Nina joined him stealing the keys off his waist. As John continued to strangle the guard, she skipped to the door and while flaunting her own ability, squeezed through the bars before unlocking it allowing Big D to walk through.
He marched straight to the dealer, hopped on the counter before grabbing a handful of the dealer's hair and man handling his head into a steady position. Big D then started to make chirp like noises and purred as he bit into the neck and got his first taste of blood. John and Nina followed him, and they tore on the remains of the guards they had already defeated.
Big D standing at their heads, grinning as they ate and bathed in the moment. He took the leopard coat from the dealer and walked away while it dragged on the floor. They all entered the city that night, fumed and inflamed. Remaining at the sides of each other ever since.
