Chapter 2 - I'm the devil.

The young man exhaled and nodded, giving her his undivided attention. "Let's break up." Savannah made a declaration.

Jayden nodded his head again. "Is that what you want?" He asked her, and his voice took on a cold tone. "Yes. That's exactly what I want." Savannah declared.

Jayden's lips formed a smile. "Okay, then." Jayden's declaration was heard by her.

Jayden despised the idea of forcing a woman to be with him. Since he had already pleaded with Savannah but she had not fallen for him, all he could do was let her go.

"Aren't you going to grovel to me." Savannah inquired because she was taken aback by Jayden's sudden behavior.

"What's the point? You stated that you want to end the relationship, which is fine with me. You are aware that I have always been a playboy, so it won't be long before I find a new girlfriend." Jayden declared with certainty.

Savannah became enraged by his statement and landed a heavy slap on his cheek, causing Freda, who had been watching the scene between the young couple, to place her hands beside her ear because she couldn't bear witnessing something so violent.

"You're such a jerk!" Savannah yelled and turned around as she walked through the rain.

Jayden gently caressed his cheeks with his right hand.

Freda slowly removed her hands from behind her ear. She exhaled and considered her options.

She had intended to simply walk past the young man, but after hearing Ms. Savannah said that Jayden was an orphan, she felt pity for him.

She exhaled as she worked up the courage to approach him.

When she got to his front, she couldn't see his face because everywhere was dark. "How may I help you?" Jayden inquired of Freda.

"Do you know that going through a breakup and feeling emotional pain can have an effect on your physical body? It can cause dietary changes, decreased motivation, anxiety, and depression. Maintaining healthy eating habits and participating in social activities may help reduce health risks." Freda declared, causing the young man to arch his brows in surprise as he stared at the young lady.

"What the fuck are you saying to me?" Jayden was irritated when he asked.

"Ohh. When we break up, our brains lose their regular supply of neurotransmitters, and we experience neurological withdrawal. This is how broken hearts break brains. Subjectively, a lack of these chemicals can cause us to feel anxious, depressed, and isolated, leading to…"

"Who in the world are you?" Jayden inquired as he interrupted Freda's statement and he sounded so annoyed.

Freda smiles warmly and bows her head slightly as she arranges the puzzle game in her hand. "Hi. I'm Freda Rowan, and I have autism. Reading and coloring are two of my favorite hobbies. My favorite color is whi…"

Jayden cut Freda off yet again before she could finish her sentence. "Are you trying to say you're disabled?" He inquired, and she nodded.

"Autism may appear to others to be a disability, but being disabled can make you unique." She said this with pride. "Well, that's good for you, and if you don't mind, I have some business to attend to." Jayden stated coldly.

He was about to excuse himself when Freda called out for him. "Caring for others fosters empathy and the ability to connect with others, even in difficult circumstances helps a lot. Furthermore, 77% of working caregivers say being a caregiver has brought them closer to their parents and/or in-laws, which means that if I have to care for you, it can also help me because I have autism." Freda declared, causing the young man to turn around as he stared at her.

Thunder struck the cloud, allowing Freda to see the young man's face. He has a nice chin curve, gray eyes, and a man bun with a low undercut.

The lightning lasted for only seven seconds, but it was long enough for Freda to capture his entire facial expression.

Jayden, who had came to a halt, moved slowly towards Freda, his lips curved into a devilish smirk. "Young woman," Jayden said after a brief pause.

"Woman refers to an adult female person, but it is preferable if you address me as a young lady because that is the proper way to address a woman." She declared quickly while staring at the puzzled box she was holding.

Jayden exhaled because the lady standing directly in front of him was giving him a headache. "Hey!" Jayden yelled, which surprised Freda because she hadn't expected him to yell.

Jayden looked down at Freda, because he was taller than her, before whispering coldly and devilishly. "You shouldn't talk to everyone, Okay." He declared, and then took a step back from her.

"Engaging in conversations with strangers has numerous positive health benefits, including increased mental sharpness, decreased feelings of loneliness and isolation, and improved trust."

His lips curled Into a devious smirk as he amusingly stared at Freda, who was confident even when she shouldn't be.

Jayden declared coldly with a deep voice that showed how serious he was right now. "I'm a guy, and you're a woman, or whatever you want to call yourself. I can easily do things to you that you had no idea existed, and no one will ever know. Be cautious because you only know my first name." Jayden said, and his words sounded like a threat to Freda's ear, but she wasn't scared.

Freda nodded and stared at him despite the fact that she couldn't see his face. "Are you saying you won't hurt me?" She inquired confidently.

Jayden exhaled as he reached his hand into his hair, making sure that his bun was still intact. "Young lady," he whispered, his voice trailing off for a few seconds.

"I'm 99% an angel. But, oh… that one percent turned me into the devil." He declared seductively, his lips curved into a brief smile as he shrugged and walked away, leaving Freda motionless.
