Chapter 42 - Chapter 6.16 - White - Sassy Silver Streak

Let's go back by about...moments before the intended part...

So basically, Azreal and I just used one of our best spells fighting against the never ending numbers of AIs. Best of our current limitations, of course. To be perfectly honest, after weeks of getting used to Virtue, I finally remembered that most of my abilities are far weaker than the times I had or felt whenever I use it in the real world. I guess I can assume that Virtue kind of suppressed our magic to certain degree. Hence why even Sam's Absolute Order was fairly weaker that it couldn't even reach me, Azreal or Yumiko.

That being said...Having most our ''suppressed' best spells being exhausted toward the endless amount of enemies, we find ourselves once again breathing exponentially a lot.

"There's too many of them..." Azreal was catching his breath.

Same goes for me as I slowly replied to him, "You're...right...even the other guys have...tapped out from the looks of it." I looked over the kingdom's walls.

Most of the rest of Goblin Gang were resting, lying on the floor. Even with a solid strategy, we still don't have the right amount of number to actually secure this battle. The enemy kept sending us an endless amount of AIs towards. It was as if they are still being manufactured at this very moment.

And so, another waves has reached upon our vision. Being the only two people left standing against the waves of uncontrollable AIs, I prayed to The Great Will for whatever is about to come. And just as did that, it either could be divine intervention, deus ex machina or even a mere coincidence, my prayers were answered.

Multiple laser beams strikes down like lightning all over Virtue. I was able to notice that it was even striking down as far as Violet Empire, which was at the furthest end of Virtue from here. The beams demolished a huge chunk of the AIs. It was way bigger than the beams that Danielle have been using all these times. It was comparatively destructive as it annihilate the enemy.

Then the dark cloud begins to open up as a shining bright light as if an angel had come to save us all. Except that it was not an angel. But it was just a little silver streaked girl that goes by name of Zenith Feathers. Looks like she finally found where we were hidden. I also noticed that there was an 'admin' word above her head which means that she probably has some strange powerful abilities at her disposal now because I'm quite sure Zenith could never launch a nation-wide laser strike.

She slowly glides down toward our position. From down here, I could already see her face starting to melt up as she tries to stop herself from crying. Zenith gently falls to my arms as we finally hug each other and reunited once again.

"What took you so long." I joked. "It's been months inside of here..."

"Months? It's only been a eight hours for me." She told me.

Then I told her, "I think that's about right. Haven't seen real life for eight weeks already."

"We don't have much time, White." she pushes me.

"What is it?" I asked.

She explained to us, "the server is overloading with too many request of creating more new AIs. The more you destroy them the faster it overloads."

Azreal then joined, "And what happens if it overloads?"

"The entire server will crash. It also means that the plug will be pulled and there will be no way for us to live any longer. The Full Dive technology have been sabotaged so that it won't even save any of these data inside a backup storage. We have to stop fighting!"

"But you just destroyed a bunch of them just now..." I told her.

"That?" she explained, "I wasn't destroying it. It was a delete program. I merely deleted them, slowing down the process of overloading the server."

"I see." I nodded.

She continued, "Right now, I'm broadcasting myself to the entire Virtue so that all commanders and Pantheons can listen and understand the situation. Everyone must stop killing the AIs now!"

Meanwhile, somewhere in Violet Empire. Yumiko also hears Zenith's voice from the sky.

"That shorty...it's been a while since I heard your annoying voice." She smiled. "I'll gladly do what you want for now. Let's see how you are actually going to pull this off, Snow Phoenix..."

Back at the kingdom, Zenith had just told me that the leader of these AIs are actually a human as well. He was the other Chaos Champion that I have been looking for all this time. She said that his name was Error. He doesn't seem to have any fancy title as of now but he might be saying something about that once he makes his appearances before us.

Just as mentioned that however, Zenith's broadcast was interrupted. Before we know it, The Chaos Champion himself appeared in the sky. It almost felt like he was projected through a holographic machine. The champion dons a pristine metal armor. He covers his face with a futuristic looking face mask. The eye insignia of The Chaos Champion can be seen on his left shoulder.

"Greetings and salutations, commanders and Pantheons. I am Chaos Champion Error. I am the leader of the AI forces. Just as Zenith Feathers have told you all. That was indeed my original plan. Until it was disrupted by her." he announced.

Zenith looked at him sternly.

Error continued, "Now then...what will you do? Will you listen to what she said or not?"

"Enough!" Zenith shouted. "Enough of all of this. This was all your plan was it? This Conquest of Virtue...I've looked at the console...you were the creator. So how did Sam found out about you?"

Error laughed and told us, "It's quite simple really, I was trusted with an experimental device that we have tried to recreate. It was a recreation of a mind controlling artifact. I honestly don't know if it was working or not but from I've seen so far, Sam Maximus have been following every single plan of mine just as I expected."

"So even Sam doesn't realize that she's a puppet." I said to myself.

Then all of a sudden. A rocket launcher blasted into the hologram.

"What the?" Error was surprised. "What was that?"

It was apparently Zenith who shot that rocket launcher.

"Enough of your speeches. You're wasting our time!" Zenith was relentless.

Error then brushed it off and told us, "Impatient, aren't ya? Well you caught me there." He then nodded and announced, "Very well, I'll stop requesting more AIs. But here's the rule. Do not attack the AI."

"Easy." Zenith quickly replied.

Error continued, "And one more thing...defeat me. Only by defeating me will I be able to unlock the log off feature for all of you. You will all be able to get out of this horrible world."

"Really? No other surprise catch?" Zenith was making sure.

He promised, "Not to worry. That is the only thing I request of. A fair fight against any of you..."

"Then I'll just-" Zenith was then interrupted.

"I'll do it!" Azreal wills himself up as he walk forward.

"Azreal! You're already ran out of energy..." I told him.

"Ran out? You must have forgotten who we are." He reminded me.

I think for a second until I remembered about the dragons inside ourselves.

Azreal continued, "You may rest easy, White. Zenith. I'll handle this. I can also show you guys what I've been keeping to all of you all this time. I'm not just a funny guy. I'm also strong and capable. I'll show you guys."

I couldn't really say anything else to stop him. He can be a bit stubborn at times. Azreal walks and gets ready as he stood in a plain and flat area. A perfect place to duel. A few seconds later the hologram glides down toward Azreal and stood against him. The hologram then transition itself as the real Error takes its place. The Chaos Champion was smirking after all this time.

Azreal then stomp the ground as he begins charging up for all of his innate energies. Small rocks around him began to float.

"It's time to let it rip, Sepulchre." Azreal was speaking to his dragon.

He blinked his eyes and as he opens it, his eyes are now glowing golden and both iris is shaped like a dragon's iris. The battle against Azreal and Error is about to begin. Everyone is watching with anticipation as Error continues to broadcast himself to the entire land of Virtue. Everyone stopped and watched the upcoming battle and prayed for the success of Azreal Azmuth.
