I wasn't able to win the fight. Not a single fight I've been winning at all. All I did was scratch all of my enemies. In fact, I believe I'm not damaging them in the slightest. I still remember all the encounters...
Vatherion made sure that I will be a burden for White. While I may have lived through it, I was kidnapped and killed by Kitsuneki. I was only able to distract Silverbite for moment before White and Fitz was able to do the finishing blow. And then, I was kidnapped once again but this time by Crescendo. Why do I always end up on the victim side of things? Am I really the damsel in distress. Will I remain this way until the end? I think...I am...useless.
While I would continue to contemplate about my existence, I felt a very strong tremor. I was able to turn my head to see that White passed out. Just a few moments later, the tremor gets even more stronger. White's passed out body suddenly began to squirt out blood like a fountain. It wasn't just one small hole. But it was like White just got punctured by dozens of spikes. The fountain of blood continues to go out, I couldn't continue to watch until I notice that there was too much blood for a human to have. This isn't his blood...
I looked up and saw red clouds. It looks like all of the blood that spurted out was quickly vaporized into the red clouds. Strong wind started to pick up. Thunder strikes have struck the land. Droplets of water have began to fall down. The temperature was getting cold. This combination of weather reminded me when White decided that he wanted to train with me. He asked me to teach him about ice manipulation. I didn't teach him yet and I'm not sure why he wanted to try. I honestly don't know how could he be able to manipulate ice. It has to somehow be related to his dragon.
Speaking of dragon...the red clouds started to be absorbed by something way above it. All of the red blood clouds have sucked by a single entity. That entity slowly floats down as it finally reveals itself.
"What the..." I quietly said that.
It was a dragon. And I don't think it was any other dragon. It was White's dragon. The so called King of Dragons. The leader of the bunch. It was way larger than any other dragons that I have seen before.
"So here it is..." Error claimed. "The Dragon of Space-Time."
The dragon finally landed on the ground. It roared toward the sky. It roars was so loud that I'm sure the entirety of Virtue heard that even without the help of Error's broadcast. As the huge dragon stood proudly before us, Error was already overwhelmed by its enormous strength. I feel like Error was a bit agitated because Azreal and I had already done several damage to him despite feeling like he wasn't hurt at all.
Then, I heard a running footsteps. I turned my head to where it was coming from and saw a neatly sharp dressed girl running towards me. She then got to me and tried to get me up.
"Are you alright?" She asked me.
I asked her, "Who are you?"
She then answered, "A friend of White...we were classmates during high school."
"You...?" I was still dazed after what Error had done to me.
She shakes her head as she brought out a roll of white cloth from her pocket. She started to cover my wounds with it.
"You'll be fine. You did enough." she sounded very caring despite her stern looking face.
While the girl tended my wounds, Error finally said something, "And all it takes was a gentle push..." He laughed. "Now, to put my experiment into its breaking point...we'll see how long this nanomachine can last."
Error creates a nanomachine trampoline as he jumps up into the air. Error flung way up high as he begin to create two huge great swords and threw it to the dragon. Hoping that the swords would dive deep into the dragon's skin, disappointment fills his mood. The scale of the dragon was completely thick that the sword just breaks itself into pieces.
Error landed safely and said, "Interesting, it can negate Infinitum Energies. Almost like the medallion that Yumiko girl has. Only this is a large scale version of it." He sounded happy, "I wonder what other properties does the scale has."
The dragon then looked down and slowly raised one of its front leg. It tried to stomp Error. Error did not try to run away from it but instead he began to create a large shield and used it to prevent himself from being crushed. The force of the dragon's foot was too immense that Error even began to create a bigger shield.
"Excellent!" He started to become more frantic.
The dragon then finally decides to step away. Error somehow survived from being crushed. But he has not saved himself yet as the dragon finally began puff out a small meteorite. Mind you, this 'small meteorite' was as huge as a double storey house. Error braced himself for impact but suddenly, the dragon begin to create a lightning speed globe, entrapping all of us within range. Everything has started to become black and white. I couldn't do anything at all. Even the girl has stopped herself from moving.
I could only think for myself, "White...?"
Then and there, still having vision of what I've been staring at all this time, the dragon uses its front leg and strikes the meteorite like a volleyball. The meteorite remain in its place. The dragon then does it for a second time, and again, and again. I realized what it's intention was. I know I must find a way to run as far as I could but this time stopping ability was proven to be too effective. Just as expected to lose all hope, Azreal, the girl and I was teleported back to the rooftop of Sam's castle.
"White..." I began to understand.
Then, the inevitable happened. Time resumes and the black and white globe goes away. The meteorite, crashes down straight first toward Error. A huge rampaging blast began to clutter up our vision.
What surprise me though...Error was lying down and has not yet disintegrated by the massive blast. He was however, started to lose his avatar data. Since it is a virtual world of some kind, his real body in the real world hasn't been destroyed yet. But, he has indeed, defeated. The Chaos Champion, falls.
To think that a celebration was in place for all of us. But there was no celebration that can be called as the dragon continues to puff out meteorites from its boundless bowels. It crashed into all over the place. The entirety of Virtue has been struck by a meteor shower.
"White! That's enough!" I tried to call for him.
The girl tending my wounds hugged me and said, "It's no use. He's out of control!"
It was a dire situation. The Dragon of Space-Time continues to rampage despite already defeated its foe. It was trying to destroy the entire landscape of Virtue.
Then suddenly, "I'll take control..." Sam Maximus steps in.
"What are you doing Sam?" the sharply dressed girl asked Sam.
"My job..." she said.
"What?"
Sam then walked toward the edge of the roof and loudly said, "I've been a horrible person to my classmates all this while. Honestly speaking, I was blinded by my own talent. I have only begun to see once Yumiko shattered my dream. As annoying as she is, there is indeed a bitter rivalry between the two of us. But it is a healthy one."
I tried to say something, "Sam..."
She continued, "Just this once...let me do this to all of you."
She closed her eyes as she shouted to the sky, "ABSOLUTE ORDER: GLOBAL!"
With all that was left of her, Sam took control of everyone's conscious. All of Virtue was now under her command. I looked far into the field and saw the dragon's eye glows golden. It looks like Sam was trying to suppress it down. Not too long after that, the dragon immediately turned into red blood clouds. The clouds then got suck into a small entity.
The entity this time, was White. He had returned. But he looked a bit different. His hair...was silver. And his eyes...were pristine blue sea, just like I do. White falls down from the air but he was immediately saved by Error who was able to drag his entire body to create a nanomachine safety net.
Sam has done it. She did it. She stopped the dragon from continuing to be more chaotic. However, the meteors were still coming. We don't have much time left before Virtue was destroyed.
Sam then commanded, "Everyone! Log out!"
Suddenly, my vision started to make a glitch effect. A text that reads 'logging out' can be seen in my eyes. Once more, another glitch effect ensues but this time, it felt forever. The next thing I know, I see darkness. Not the usual kind of darkness. But the darkness of the Full Dive lab. We have returned to the real world.
