Hours slowly passed by while the returned and began searching for the truth. After four hours the beginning of the story came.
'The orphan man who wanted to be a strong man'. This was the book Rex was given to read.
The boy named Matthew was given up for adoption almost right after birth. 'He was birthed under a weird moon. To this day no other moon as appeared.'
"Weird." Rex announced.
"What is wrong?" The shortest man asked.
"So the man's name is Matthew and this book is the start of his life. It says that he was birthed under a weird moon. To that day, that moon has not appeared."
"Weird moon?" The Ancient Zuggurant mumbled.
He was told that he was birthed under a weird moon as well. He did not know if that was a good sign or a bad stroke of luck.
"Can we figure out what moon he was born under?" War God asked.
"Not in this book." Rex announced.
War God went to search for different moons that people could be birthed under. As she looked at the book with different moons. The book she found was very thin.
She opened the book to find four different kinds of moons in total. The first moon that is weird affects Beastkin. The moon will be black with a red dot in the center.
"Well that is not what we want, probably."
She flipped three pages to the next moon.
This moon was green with a gold outline. This moon was to be when Nature is restoring itself after a major destruction.
"That is definitely not what we want."
Just two pages over was the next moon. This moon was just plain weird. Only when people looked at it would it look like a beast. That animal represents which beast will always love you.
"A possibility but still weird."
As she flipped to the last moon, it was this one that she found the most credible. This moon would allow death and resurrection but only when the moon is red.
"I believe that we have found the moon." War God stated.
Everyone stopped and listened to the moon that she believed was the moon. The Ancient Zuggurant knew that this moon was not the one that he was born under.
"What other kind of moons could possibly he have been born under?" The Ancient Zuggurant asked.
"Depends. If he was a Beastkin, there is a moon for Beastkin. The next one is weird in on itself that the moon will represent the type of animal that person will always be loved by."
The Ancient Zuggurant did find that the original could have been the most likely as well. None of the said moons could fit him.
"Maybe later."
Before he could actually finish what he wanted to speak about next. War God decided to speak about the final moon.
Everyone agreed that the last moon was not any kind of fit for the man. The Ancient Zuggurant knew that moon was the one he was born under.
"Well, I want to say this now. I believe that the last moon was the one that I was born under." The Ancient Zuggurant told the group.
"Marvelous! We can try to narrow down the moons by figuring out which people were born under them and how the moons restart." Rex told the others slightly excited.
"How can we research those people?" The shortest man asked.
"Simple. There are going to be stories or other significant places with those people." War God could already tell what Rex had in mind.
"Great! Give me a little time to search." The Ancient Zuggurant said.
He left to visit some Beastkin towns and villages to see if they had any books or landmarks about someone born under a weird moon.
"What will we do now?" The shortest man asked.
"We need to figure out the difference between the stories from the spiders and the books. Once those differences have been made, we can find the pieces that can either connect them or see why the differences are there." Rex said.
"So the first piece of information that we need to figure out is the killer woman who could be his sister and him correct?" War God asked.
"That would usually be first. I already have ideas of my own about that. For starters, when a young child thinks that someone is older than them that makes them think of them as a protector or someone to be with them.
In the orphanage, the girl could have been there with him and called herself his sister or he called her his sister. It could also be that they are actually brother and sister. That is easy to figure out.
What we need to figure out is who the other two women are. Once we find out who they are and why the man traveled with them. It will help in figuring out what actually happened during the time the duo were away."
As the began trying to search, one of the spiders came to see how they had fared so far.
