As the trio woke up, their minds went back to the dream. For the other lady, it was more of why she would have to be forced to do such a thing. For Rex's lady, it was why they had to go to the most blessed lake. For the man of honor, it was why it always lead back to him regardless of what transpired.
"Have I done anything wrong?" The other lady asked in depression.
"No you have not. That dream is a reality that would have happened regardless of the past choices that would have been made. Take it with a grain of sand that it was worded that way." Rex replied in a cheerful manner.
"Really?" The other lady was still depressed.
"Of course. Why else would I be trying to cheer you up?" Rex gently rubbed her head while talking.
As they walked, the other lady knew that she was the one who held the Nature Qi to actually form the Qi ball. She still considered herself almost nothing to the other two. To her, the other two seemed to be bigger than the Realm itself.
The trio walked into the reception area and the receptionist bowed her head in gratitude. As she was unable to complete the journey during the night.
"There is no need to lower your head to us. It was all just a massive misunderstanding that we did not understand ourselves." Rex told the receptionist.
"Truly?"
"I mean, taking our Qi could have led to multiple scenarios that we did not and could not afford. When the lady from the arena told us how it was going down. It seemed much easier than what I was expecting and the consequences were not even there." Rex told her saddened by the fact that all of the arena journey could have been neglected.
"I wish she could have just entered the room instead and taken the Qi." The receptionist spoke.
"It is not that she cannot but that she does not have the means to anymore." Rex replied.
This begged the receptionist to wonder why she could not.
"She has either the control of the Demon King of Annihilations of the past or she can summon them and use them. More than likely it is the second criteria. The only way for her to be able to come out is if I am breaking her out or there is someone with the Full Blood of the Faerie to break her out." Rex spoke volumes to the receptionist.
This made the women wonder how strong Rex truly could become when he is maximumizing his true state.
"I am the current Demon King of Annihilation and the most powerful. I am sure that I could break her out if I wanted to. That does not mean that she needs to. Besides, if I do decide to break her out. She will be using the other demon kings to their max to protect the Nine Realms and the Demon Realm.
Although, she will get broken out and sent to the Demon Realm to protect it. She will not be used or summon the Demon King of Annihilations.
"Now that the night is passed and we are looking toward to the future. Do you where the most blessed lake is or know who might know by chance?"
The receptionist turned cold hearing the question. She was truly upset that they would have to either find someone or find it themselves.
"Honestly, the best choice to either ask about it or leave it for now and the lady who you need to talk to is the elderly Lady of the Lake."
Hearing this, both of the women frowned and were deeply depressed hearing that.
"Who is the elderly Lady of the Lake?" Rex spoke because he already could tell that the other two were not going to speak.
"The oldest living Lady of the Lake and is said to be either the Second or Third Generation of the Lady of the Lake." The receptionist whispered.
This was to ensure that no one else knew that she was being spoken of. To the Lady of the Lake anyone who was caught talking about her either good or bad was punished. Even children could be punished, this was how much they held her in a position of untouchable.
Rex was upset but then felt the eyes of someone on him. He looked around and saw nothing. He tried looking for anyone through his Qi. He even tried forming a Water Ball and without a second to lose.
The side of the door was busted in. At least twenty women were stationed in front of the doorway.
"You wanted to know about someone?" This lady seemed to be a beastkin to Rex.
"Yes. I am looking for the most blessed lake. How either one of you lead us to the woman who can talk to us about it or lead us there yourselves. Either way, I honestly do not care how we get there." Rex replied.
An angered face came upon the woman who talked. Rex immediately slammed her down into the ground and wiped his feet off with her back.
"Anyone else dare to show me their anger?" Rex replied angered.
"Follow those women. They will lead you to the answer you seek." An elderly voice spoke.
"Now then, lead us." Rex replied.
The woman who got slammed was even madder now. Not only was she humiliated in front of her militia, but also the people inside the place where she did not belong.
"Fuck you. Come on before I lose my temper." She replied storming her way out.
"That was unexpectedly bad." The receptionist thought.
She made sure to keep her thoughts to herself. If she did not, who knows what punishment she could receive.
As the group left, an elderly woman appeared before the receptionist.
"I am sorry for the damage to your place. I will restore it for you. In the heat of the moment, all who think that I am truly above them all get too angry." She spoke and vanished.
The damage to the inn was gone.
"Next time, just talk inside your office. That way, I know who you are talking to." The elderly woman's voice whispered.
Sweat rolled down the receptionist's face at this moment.
