As the trio walked the soldperson, they noticed how much these women were Beastkin. This startled the ladies and Rex really was not worried about them.
The one who Rex had humiliated was in the forefront. She had her curved ears pointed towaras the front slightly twitching.
Her face full of anger from the humiliation in the inn. She was not going to let Rex get away with it.
"Stop!" She ordered.
Her ears noticing something amiss began to try and focus on what was causing the issue. Even though she was angry, she kept her job a top priority. She began to transform into a what looked like a Siberian Husky.
She turned her head and began to sniff the air. Something was not right and something dangerous was close. As the other Beastkin began to transform into smaller versions of the woman. Rex noticed that they were not completely dog nor completely wolf.
The clothing they wore became the color of spots on the fur. Their faces the same color regardless. Their noses black as if to show their canine side. Their tails a mix of straight and pointed and fluffy and curved.
As the two ladies of the lake got surrounded. Rex was squeezed between the canines as if they were not trying to help protect him. This saddened Rex but he could not help.
"Just surround all of us." His thoughts during the squeeze.
All of the canines upfront jumped back and growled. Their fangs bearing as they watched a group of women come out. This was another group of the Beastkin.
The two groups growled and barked at each other. Rex walked up front and glanced at the woman who he had slammed.
He glanced at the other side. He found the one who looked like their leader. He was able to walk up to the canines there and grab it by the throat.
"Either you all allows us through or this one dies." Rex spoke with his Demonic Qi.
Sensing the urgency, the other group angrily transformed back and made way for the group.
"Thanks." Rex said as he was the last one to advance.
The two ladies made sure to walk arm linked together with Rex. This was to ensure that none of the canine would get between them again.
This angered woman up front felt the power that Rex commanded through the sheer way he handled the other leader.
As they walked, she transformed back first. Slowly but surely all of the other women transformed. As they reached a black wall, they all began to walk through it. To of the Beastkin made sure to walk behind Rex to ensure that he could pass through.
As they entered through, a sky view of the Seventh Realm came upon them. Walking on clouds was not really new but it was a enjoyable experience. As the group came forward, rain started to fall from the upper clouds.
The rain would never reach the ground. As the group found an elderly lady sitting on a rocking chair enjoying some of the rain. She glanced at them and motioned them to come closer.
"Greetings, Grandfather Rex. These two little also need a good greeting. I cannot actually give you the proper name just yet.
My mother spoke highly of you, Grandfather Rex. She spoke how you went and fought against the Dark Abyss. She drew a picture of your greatness in the weirdest way for you to imagine. For these two women, they will understand the meaning behind it.
So, I heard that you need to visit the most blessed lake. That will be tricky because it is a place that not even I am allowed to go near. As for you, Grandfather you should be able to. I pray that you give me a good drawing of the lake. I always wanted to visit that lake."
The Beastkin were shocked hearing the conversation so far. It seemed like that they were the ones in the wrong.
"Oh before I forget, Snowy Wolves we have to tighten security. For those Dark Wolves to be able to enter my home was regrettable and humiliating to me. So before you do anything, make sure to apologize to Grandfather Rex for being angry at him."
The Snowy Wolves all bowed and apologized the leader was first and the rest followed in harmony.
"Snowy Wolves?" Rex asked.
He had not heard of such creatures.
"Yes. There is the Snowy Wolf, Dark Wolf, and Hidden Wolf. The Snowy Wolf is one that is completely loyal to me and is quick to anger and humiliation. The Dark Wolf is an enemy that we have not been able to destroy since the fall of the Dark Abyss. Finally the Hidden Wolf, it is more like a myth. There are very few of them alive but they hunt aggressively and viciously. They are willing to listen to me if they can get a reward."
Rex was curious about learning more. The other ladies seemed to want to ask questions.
Rex allowed them to talk to her in private. Rex went over to the Snowy Wolves. The women eyeing Rex like he was still a threat.
"I always enjoy a good challenge. Why don't we make a bet?"
The pack of Snowy Wolves all turned their heads in disagreement. This saddened Rex. When he turned around to see if they were done. A wolf seemed to be targeting Rex from the air. Rex sidestepped and punched the Dark Wolf that targeted him off the cloud.
The wolf's howl sounded for quite a ways before it died. The Snowy Wolves all looked at Rex. His quickness and deciding to punch the enemy was a good decision.
"How do we also get them that strong, Grandfather Rex?" The woman asked from her chair.
"It does take years to get to this power but if just follow their natural instincts to the max. Their fighting abilities should increase even if it slightly during each fight from here onwards."
