"Oh oh ohhhhh that rabbit head mentioned it but I didn't think it was actually true."
Ayo's body was all on high alert. Whoever this person was he didn't need to be informed or to see her abilities firsthand to know that she was an extremely dangerous person.
Although the way she displayed her womanly features–her breast was covered by one black strap which was basically protecting her nipples and holding her breast together and she was wearing a black thong, from her tailbone came a long black tail that coiled at the end.
And although the way she displayed her womanly features could make any man drop his guard, the aura that was coming from her would make a strong man be tensed. Despite all the exposures.
Ayo already had beads of sweat running down his face, his pupils were shaking as his mind raced from thought to thought, trying to find a way out of this situation.
First of all, there should not be a being like this in the tower. At the very least in this part of the tower.
She can speak, if not for the black ears on her head and the tail on her back, she was just as human as every other girl outside the tower. Plus she was even more cute. She had bloody red eyes, the kind that is often attributed to a cute vampire baddie.
Her lips were small and a small canine tooth was protruding beyond the rest every time she opened her mouth or smiled.
She was beautiful but what is this pressure?
The power that Ayo was feeling from her was tremendous. It made the hairs on his skin stand up. He had faced countless enemies, powerful ones but no one had ever made him feel like this.
This young lady was the simplest of all, the most beautiful. She deserved not to be called a monster.
But with the kind of pressure she was exerting, nothing but the word 'monster' filled Ayo's head.
"Aiii, I have never seen anyone in the floorless. Not to talk of the other floors."
"Floorless?"
Ayo managed to mutter.
She had her hand on her lips and her eyes out of focus. She was thinking of an easier way to put it so the stranger before her could understand.
"Uhm, okay let's see. This place that you are in. Is called floor-less in the whole of the many floors of the tower. Every ten floors have its master except this one. So it is called f-l-o-o-r-l-e-s-s"
She talked to Ayo like she was trying to explain things to a five-year-old. Considering how long they might have been existing in this place. That particular notion might not be far-fetched.
'What is happening here Phanes? I knew this was a place native to monsters. But you never told me of superior beings that could talk.'
[I never told you anything]
[But I did tell you... the tower was considered a failure and discarded]
[Since then a lot of years have passed]
[I don't know why it chose you]
[I don't know how much the inhabitants have grown. So I am as surprised as you are]
'So, it would be wise of me to expect surprises?'
[Yes, wise of both of us]
"Hey, boyya. Do you understand?"
Ayo narrowed his eyes before responding:
"Yes, I do..."
"But now I think that is going to change."
She added, smiling. Actually, it came out more like a grin of the devil.
"What do you mean?"
Extremely cautious but unable to forgo his curiosity, Ayo asked.
"What else. You are on your way to becoming a ten-floor master. That means you will receive the eligibility to challenge other floor masters and you can finally move away from the bottom of the ranking, who knows? The tower master itself might change."
"Eroe!!"
"Oops! I must have said too much."
Ayo was startled at where the sudden shout came from. It seemed like it was to caution the young cat lady before him. But the voice had no face to it. Even as it continued to talk.
"Isn't that too many expectations you are placing on a little human?"
The voice sounded like the sky itself was talking.
"But the tower cho–
"Zip it"
Immediately her mouth got shut and she was unable to say anything. She tried forcing them open but it was harder. A second later a rabbit man in a black suit appeared and held her hands to the back, tying them. He cast a glance at Ayo and disappeared.
"Tch... You tower administrators are no fun."
The voice in the sky spoke, sounding disappointed and trailing away. Ayo could tell that was the last time he would be hearing it. At least for now.
His legs trembled and lost their stand as the tension disappeared. Ayo probably did not realize he had been placing so much strain on his legs standing under intense pressure until the whole pressure was gone.
He tried to stand but was unable to. He felt like he needed to lie down and rest for a few more days before he can finally think of what the hell might be happening.
Floor masters, tower masters, tower administrators. He tried to hold on tightly to the words he heard. To him, they were clues about the kind of people he would be meeting. It was somewhat relatable since he himself is a floor master.
And according to the cat chick, he is on his way to becoming a ten-floor master.
Ayo's flow of thought got distracted the next second as he intuitively gave the lady a sexy name. 'Cat chick'
Those were some nice ass and boobs but unfortunately, she was too strong for him to focus on them. Trying to picture it now was hard. Mainly because he kept remembering that humongous pressure and it put him in a very uncomfortable place.
That is just one single person, and if he was to speak on the premise of his past experiences with demons, demon generals, and demon kings. The girl was far stronger than all of them.
Ayo's gaze became a frown.
Someone like that was easily shut and captured by the rabbit man.
'Which means, the rabbit man must be stronger...'
Then the voice in the sky.
He looked up and looked at the vast darkness of the third floor.
"What the hell is this place?"
