Charlotte Bancroft is back at the Bancroft family mansion after killing off the Xavier sisters.
She felt no remorse when she killed off the two sisters.
They deserve what happened to them. It is perfect and fitting revenge because the two whom I once thought were my close friends and allies. But they abandoned me at a time when I needed assistance the most. They also knew too much, and they had to be eliminated.
She thought to herself while drinking a goblet filled with blood.
Her family lived in Fayetteville for as long as she could remember.
She was born rich and privileged to a family of vampires.
She went to Fayetteville Academy from preschool up to Senior High School.
She's a popular girl on her campus, always active in extracurricular activities, aside from being a top student in her class, always getting flat A every semester.
She's hot, sexy, good-looking, cute, flirty, tall, smart, upfront dangerous, and athletic.
She's also rich, which is why she has many admirers among the guys both inside and outside the campus.
She's a snob by nature and only hangs out with the popular students of the school.
She likes to flaunt her hot, sexy, athletic, and clear-skinned yet pale body through her clothes.
She's also quite nice unless she's provoked.
She's also an avid traveler and has already been all over the U.S., and Canada either by herself or alongside her friends and family. She also travels overseas.
But not everyone who knew her knew that she is a vampire.
She kept that secret from most of those who knew her, except for the werewolves, the witches, and other vampires in Fayetteville and nearby counties.
Any sane vampire, witch, or werewolf knows that if they go about revealing what they really are to the humans, they'd be fair game for hunting, as the residents have a deep-seated fear of the three, which they consider supernatural monsters.
If they disclosed what they really are, they have no choice but to neutralize the person to whom they disclosed their true identity, or make that person one of them, before a hunter shows up.
And it's all because of what happened in the past.
Back in 1783, when Cross Creek and Campbell merged to form what's considered a large town, a small group of friends who turned out to be vampires, werewolves, and witches arrived to settle there.
Not long after, they assimilated into the town, and everything seemed to be peaceful at first until two omega werewolves, a male and a female, lost control of their primal urges, one night when it was the full moon, transformed into their wolf forms, and went on a killing streak.
The townspeople went into a panic. The visiting soldiers who happened to be at the scene when it happened, and the sheriff sent to contain the situation ended up getting eaten.
Word eventually spread to two traveling vampire hunters, and a messy fight occurred when the friends of the two omega werewolves rushed in to rescue their companion from a life-or-death situation.
One vampire hunter died, but not before taking down with him two alpha werewolves, one high-rank vampire, and one high-ranked witch.
The town was in disquiet for a few days, and the remaining vampires, werewolves, and witches had to stay off the radar to avoid being killed.
Ever since the incident, the town mayor paid the surviving vampire hunter a huge amount of cash and negotiated with the vampire hunter to visit often.
Since then, the vampires, witches, and werewolves took extra care that what they really are won't get disclosed to the humans.
She had her fair share of bullies before when she was still in junior high school, and she tried her best to ignore them until a time came when they got too obnoxious
They tried to dunk her head in the girl's toilet one time.
Charlotte, being an elite vampire with future sight as her main ability, and being a swift vampire at that, pried herself free the moment she was about to get her head dunked inside the toilet.
Then she got out of the toilet as fast as she could before they tried anything funny.
She'll find an opportunity to deal with them later.
Sure enough, they barged into her classroom to cause more trouble while she is seated, minding her own business.
They barged in carrying a pail of water, meaning to drench her wet in public, but their plan backfired.
Charlotte mind-controlled the bullies to pour the pail of water into their own heads, and they ended up becoming the laughingstock of everyone in the classroom.
Her revenge didn't end there.
While the bullies stood right there completely in shock, Charlotte mind-controlled a few other classmates to push those bullies outside the window of the third-floor classroom.
The bullies ended up with serious injuries and got sent to the intensive care unit of the hospital for a few months.
They developed such a trauma that they never approached Alice again and eventually got themselves expelled.
The school did nothing to punish Charlotte as she is a top student and berated the bullies, then had them expelled.
Word eventually reached her parents, but they didn't interfere.
After that incident, no one dared to annoy her anymore.
She's also involved in helping manage the blood banks, butchering, and cold storage facility for livestock that her family owned since she was thirteen.
She's also active in the vampire-werewolf war, which is actually staged by the witches.
She's a high-ranked vampire in the Fayetteville Vampire Coven as a council member who represents the interests of the Bancroft family.
She also agreed to be a spy for the witches.
Her family had a mixed reaction when they found out, as most of the members of the Bancroft family more or less stayed neutral and focused instead on doing business.
But she had her reasons for agreeing to become a spy.
She suspected right from the start that the ancient war isn't a simple war between the vampires and the werewolves, and there is someone masterminding everything behind the scenes.
She still remembered the time someone from the Witch Coven approached her, and asked if she could be the spy for the witches.
She was still 14 back then.
That someone is 20 years old back then, a handsome warlock, tall and muscular, has fair skin, nut brown eyes, a sharp nose, kissable lips, and a loud booming voice.
He wore a t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of sneakers.
His name is Alastair Fletcher.
She still remembered how Alastair approached her, and the conversation that immediately happened afterward.
Alastair walked up to her in the mansion garden while she was busy minding her schoolwork to submit for the day.
He cleared his throat, and his loud, booming voice caught her attention.
"Hello, sorry for the interruption, miss."
Alice put down her pen, and the paper she is answering, then looked up at Alastair.
"Take a seat. You must have heard of me already, so I believe I don't have to introduce myself."
Alice said while extending a hand for Alastair to shake.
Alastair shook her hand, then sat down, and began to speak.
"Hello, Miss Charlotte. I'm Alastair Fletcher or Alastair for short. Since I didn't come here for just idle chatter, it's best if we get straight to the point, yes? I've been sent by the lady of the Witch Coven, to ask you to be our agent. You've suspected that the vampire-werewolf war that raged for thousands of years isn't just a simple war of dominance, right?"
Charlotte got taken back at first by Alastair's words, then recovered her composure and spoke up.
"You mean this war is masterminded by you witches? And your so-called Lady of The Witch Coven sent a representative to talk to a preselected werewolf spy as we speak, correct?"
"Before I agree, what do I get out of it? What do you expect me to do? You should be aware that I hold a high position in the Vampire Council."
Charlotte cut in.
"Always a blunt talker. You have that trait from your father. Here's what you get for being our agent. You get access to the information you want from our archives, both online and offline, no questions asked. You also get to learn any witch power you want, if you have the skill to do so. You also get to talk to the important leaders of the Witch Coven, and that includes the lady herself."
Charlotte thought about Alastair's words in silence while letting him continue speaking.
She felt the benefits are too much, and it will backfire on the witches someday.
It only shows that the witches are prepared to make such a huge and risky gamble.
"In exchange for those benefits you get, what we want for you to do is simple. We want you to push our agenda in your Vampire Council since you're someone high-ranking in there, but don't make it obvious that The Witch Coven are the ones behind it. We'll also arrange for you to meet and greet with the Werewolf spy in the Witches Coven, of course."
"So, will you accept it or not? We also took into consideration that money means nothing to you since you are from a rich family. So, we thought about some other incentive that might hook you in. If you accept, sign this letter with your blood."
Alastair rummaged inside his bag and brought out a knife, quill pen, an empty ink jar, and an ornately designed letter with a black pentagram in the upper center of the letter with the words Fayetteville Wiccan Coven right at the center of the pentagram.
The letter is carefully placed inside a folder.
He placed the items he brought out on the table.
Charlotte immediately understood what Alastair meant.
She took the knife and the jar of ink, positioning her wrist at the empty ink jar.
She slashed at her wrist, and let the blood flow into the empty ink jar.
Then she took the paper and the quill pen, and she signed the contract written on the paper with her blood.
The paper began to glow bright red, and Alice felt something imprint itself on her right arm.
When she looked, it is a blood-red pentacle, with the Latin words "Maga Coven", which means The Witch Coven in English, right in the center of the pentacle.
"Very good, Miss Charlotte. This blood contract shall now take effect immediately. If you're wondering what that mark is for, it serves a double purpose. It's a reminder that you're now an agent for the Witch Coven. If you break the blood contract, this mark will activate and burn deeper into your skin. You may die immediately if you did it. Remember that doing a blood contract is exactly the same as doing a pact with the Devil. You'll only live if you manage to possess someone strong enough to resist the influence of the Devil and nullify the mark of the blood contract if you have the skill. You know contracts can be revoked and nullified, correct? "
Then Alastair stood up, and put the stuff he brought out back into his bag.
He and Charlotte both exchanged phone numbers.
"Let's keep in touch. Expect frequent visits from the witches anytime.'
He said to Charlotte before he got up and left.
Charlotte got frequent visits from the witches since then, and she also visited the Witch Coven, and the werewolf agent discreetly.
She got to know Alastair, and the other witches better as time passed by.
She got actively involved with the matters regarding the vampires in the Fayetteville Vampire Coven, while at the same time being an agent of the witches, and representing the interests of the Stewart family.
It was a tough balancing act, as she had a lot of rivals who did everything, they could to undermine her and remove her from power.
But she fought on and survived all attempts to remove her from power, and eliminate her, and she will continue to fight on to the present day.
She remembered how she met the Xavier sisters. They were introduced by a common friend at a party.
The three clicked and became close friends over time, so close that Charlotte confided in the Xavier sisters that she is a vampire.
And Charlotte had to turn them into vampires or run the risk of getting hunted by a vampire hunter.
Charlotte took them under her wing, and let them do whatever they wanted, as long as they proved valuable to the war between the vampires and the werewolves.
The duo of Charlotte Bancroft and Elyse Xavier proved formidable and hard to beat both on the battlefield, and in the meetings of the Fayetteville Vampire Coven, giving their opponents a hard time, while Lauren is content to stay as an ordinary vampire.
Things went on smoothly until the fateful day Lauren spotted the witches who were careless enough to put on their witch hats when they visited the Stewart family mansion.
Ever since that day, Elyse had Lauren return to their house and abruptly cut off relations with Alice.
Charlotte pleaded with them to stay when she met them by chance, practically in tears, saying she had her reasons for allowing herself to be used by the witches and that she can explain.
However, Elyse always cut her off with the spicy and scathing remark "Shut up, you unprincipled traitor. I don't see sense why you should be allowed that seat on the Vampire Coven. Get lost!"
Elyse didn't even reply to her pleas for assistance, either online or through texts and calls.
From that point on, she didn't bother the Xavier sisters anymore, and managed things solo, until she found a perfect opportunity to get rid of the Xavier sisters.
