It was about noon now, and Luo Yuan was still sitting on his chair behind his office desk. A note from last night that Li Xia left for him was in his hands, he was reading it for the umpteenth time already. He was still thinking about the note.
"What does she even mean by I ruined her night? "Did I----," he vigorously shook his head in decline.
"No, no I can't do that," he tried to convince himself. But somehow he wasn't convinced by his actions.
He placed his elbows on the table and rested his head on his palms. Meanwhile, his secretary entered his office again with some files and stood beside the desk. He cleared his throat.
"Your mother wants to talk with you," Muchen informed Luo Yuan.
Luo Yuan lifted his head from his palms and looked at his secretary who was standing with some files in one hand and a phone in another.
"Tell her, I am busy," he ordered coldly and a scolding voice came out of the phone.
"Little brat, you dare to say that to me! to your mom?" Her shrill voice rang from the phone and echoed throughout the entire office. He was startled by hearing her mom's voice and gave his a death glare to his secretary.
"You put it on speaker!" Luo Yuan asked angrily but in a low voice so that his mother wouldn't hear him.
"Sorry, Mr. Luo, your mom asked me to put it on speaker," Muchen apologized in a low voice and handed him the phone.
"Mom, you wanted to speak to me," Luo Yuan asked in a calming voice and massaged his temples.
"Do I have to make an appointment now to see my son!" His mother shouted in an angry tone.
"Mom, you can talk with me whenever you want to," Luo Yuan replied calmly.
"Then come for dinner tonight," his mom ordered and hung up without listening to his answer.
Luo Yuan sighed and shook his head. He placed the phone on the table and rubbed his temple. His secretary quietly walked out of his office after putting the files and papers.
Luo Yuan stood up and took his jacket before walking out of the office. He was going to his new apartment to get changed as he was still wearing yesterday's clothes. And he even had to attend the dinner which he is not fond of.
He drove in his car and headed towards his new apartment. Arriving at his apartment he stepped out of the car and went straight to his apartment. Unlocking the door and entering his apartment he closed and locked the door behind him.
He then removed his coat and shoes. His apartment was designed according to his taste. It had white walls, dark blue, orange, and grey furniture, and a white marble floor. Everything is clean and organized. This apartment was a gift from his grandfather when he graduated after he passed away.
Luo Yuan entered his bedroom, as he had to get ready for dinner later. He went inside the bathroom to get a shower. As he finished taking a shower he dressed up in a black shirt with the top button open and pants. He had folded his cuffs, exposing his veining arms and his wrists.
After fixing his hair he fixed himself and took his phone, and wallet, and headed outside.
He got in the elevator and pressed the button for the garage level. When the elevator stopped, he walked out of the elevator, heading directly to the parking lot where his car was parked. He opened the door and got inside the driver's seat. He started the engine and drove away from the parking lot and headed towards the restaurant.

After ending the live stream she left her apartment and took a cab to the company where she works. She is a blogger under J.X Entertainment. Some other fashion bloggers worked there. But she was the first and most famous beauty blogger of J.X Entertainment.
She entered the building and walked up to the lobby. On her way, she was greeted by several staff members of the company. Some of them greeted her with 'hello Miss Li', and she greeted them back with a smile on her face. She took the elevator to reach the top floor where Xiao Xian's office is located.
She arrived at the floor and entered Xiao Xian's office. Xiao Xian was sitting in his chair, immersed in reading files. He looked up after hearing footsteps.
"Li Xia can't you knock at the door before entering my office," he asked annoyingly. Hearing his complaint she frowned her eyebrows.
"Have I ever done before," she said while raising her right eyebrow at him. Xiao Xian stared at her blankly and sighed.
She placed her purse on the table before sitting on the chair in front of Xiao Xian, who had been seated on his chair, and leaned forward resting her elbows on the desk.
"Anyway why did you call me here?" she asked curiously while crossing her leg over the other.
"Take this," he handed her a file and told her to take it.
"What is it?" she asked as she received the folder.
"Your shoot with LovaLOga is scheduled. The photoshoot will start tomorrow at 9 AM," Xiao Xian said while closing the file. She just hummed and placed it on the table.
"Okay, anything besides that?" Xiao Xian inquired.
"Your package for promotion has arrived that you will use for the next live stream," he told her while leaning back in her chair.
"Okay, send them to my apartment, as I have something to do later," Li Xia replied while looking at the clock.
It was already 6 PM and she had made plans with her best friend Jing Xing to eat outside today.
"I have a dinner tonight with Jing Xing, she said she wants to talk about something," Li Xia asked one eyebrow raised. "Did you get into another fight?"
Xiao Xian looked at her for a few seconds before responding.
"She fought with me first," he confessed while looking straight at her and crossing his arms against his chest.
"I knew it, she is going to get drink a lot today, '' Li Xia presumed as she let out a sigh.
Li Xia, Jing Xing, and Xiao Xian were best friends from university. They are almost inseparable. Jing Xing is Xiao Xian's girlfriend. They started dating each other in university, then broke up before graduation and again decided to date each other.
"It was not surprising anymore. Why did you fight with her anyway?" she asked with interest.
" Li Xia, are you even my friend?" he asked, irritated.
"I am both of your friends," Li Xia shrugged and got up from the chair, and started to walk towards the door.
"I will talk with her," she added. "Bye!" as she waved at him and closed the door. Xiao Xian stayed in his chair staring at the closed door. Before leaving a long sigh escaped his lips.
