A cloaked Derrick walked among a city full of people. It was a sunny day. Shops were bustling, parades all around town, and different kinds of Demi-humansjust living out their day.

The sight fascinated him, but he had urgent more matters. Soon, Derrick stood In front of an old shack with a falling signboard. On it said [Zenin services]. With a push at the old rusty door. Derrick entered this residence carefully while looking both left and right.

The insides were more massive than they looked from the outside, which indicates the use of a spatial spell.

It was dark and cold, with only light from tiny openings in the walls to serve as lighting. Broken and scattered chairs stained the ground, and little animals ran around occasionally.

"This place surely is… lively!" Said Derrick, walking ahead and clearing cobwebs blocking his path.

[creakekeke!]

A rat ran from the corners, scaring Derrick and causing him to fall to the ground. The ground then shattered, and Derrick fell through countless rooms.

"Arhhh!!!" Derrick's hands waved in the air as he contacting fell through the floors, screaming for dare life.

[Boom!]

Derrick's descent eventually stopped, releasing a groan. He tried to stand up, but wooden debris fell on him and brought him back to the ground.

"Pugh!" Derrick grunted under the rubble, causing in this damp location.

"You are certainly unique in your…entrances!" A voice said from the darkness. Derrick went alert and removed the rubble from above him as he chaotically stood up.

"Calm down. if I wanted to kill you… you would already be dead!!" Said the mysterious figure, like a fist of the North Star character.

The both of them were now in an empty, rocky room made of yellow cobblestone with white dust on its surface.

"Well, are you the guy?" Asked Derrick, staring at the man in suspicion.

"I am the guy," the man answered proudly.

"Well… prove it," said Derrick, tilting his head and looking at the man [suspiciously]

"Why should I prove…? you prove it!" Argued the man. His voice slightly raised.

"I asked first!" Said Derrick with a loud voice, both of them now screaming.

"I… am… the…! Man!!" Said the man, slowly

"Well! Not with that attitude, you're not!?" Said Derrick mockingly. His tone dripped with disdain.

"Why you… Bastar-"

The man was saying while walking forward, but got dropped by a haymaker from Derrick.

"Yea, you like that…? I got more where that came from!" Said Derrick in a boxing stance.

"You…" the man said while roughly standing up and tripping a few times. He quickly retrieved a wand from his pocket and screamed. "Eat mana bolts fool, ᚨᚱᚲᚨᚾᛖ-"

"Stop both of you… you to Bash!" Said a girl that seemed to appear from the middle of—nowhere. She had beautiful green eyes, snow-white hair tied in a ponytail, and bountiful peaks. Dressed in blue leather armor mixed with [Metal[Mithril rank: 1 peak]]

"Sorry, Klide," Bash apologized, bowing down to the woman who was barely even half his height.

"Uhm, who are you people?" Asked Derrick to the duo.

"You don't know?" They said at the same time.

"Gao only told me to come to this location… he was quite—vague, saying 'To catch prey you must first spread a net and a bait'!" Said Derrick as both their eyes widened, and they smirked.

"His planing to make us test you… to see if you are up to that—tactic!" Said Bash in jest.

"What strategy are we talking about!?" Said Derrick before getting hit with a punch to the abdomen.

"Gao said you have a kind of [mysterious power], so today, I, Klide Marinvo, knight of the blade hands, will face you, Dragonborn... Prepare yourself." Steeling ready for battle, Klide assumed a fencing stand and stared straight into Derrick's eyes.

"I don't think you want to do that little-"

Derrick was interrupted by a thrust which he hurriedly dodged, causing him to fall backward.

"Wait, I don't have a wea-" Derrick said but was interrupted by Bash throwing two metal gauntlets.

"Good luck!" Bash said with a mocking smile.

Derrick paused and looked at the gauntlet, then back at Klide, whose blade tip faced him with murderous intent. Her form was shrouded in the dark. He hurriedly put on the gauntlet in fear.

Klide then spun in the air and sliced at Derrick, who swerved out of the way.

[Clang!]

The attack left a deep crevice on the ground, releasing light and heat, revealing more of the room. It contained pillars with torches attached to metals and ancient sculptures

"Can you calm down? I—am not—yet read-" said Derrick in between breaths before getting interrupted with a vertical cut that he blocked with the gauntlet.

However, the force sent him flying and hitting one of the pillars before rolling on the floor.

Derrick's eyes blurred in pain as his blood rose and came out from the sides of his mouth. He shook his head while cleaning the blood off his mouth; with a manic expression, Derrick stood up and walked confidently to Klide.

"Oh…? so you're approaching me? Instead of running away—you're coming right to me?" Said Klide with a sadistic smile as she strolled toward Derrick.

"I can't teach you a lesson without coming closer."

Derrick continued walking with his eyes closed as he looked down, blood running down his lips.

"Kekeke, then come as close as you like!"

Klide then pointed the blade toward Derrick's head.
