"Yeah, imma need to pull the curtains down for what's about to happen to you!"

*The curtains dropped with a bunch of cartoonish words written on them*

ChaPter 31: I am famous:

[Drizzle!]

[Boom!]

[Crackle!]

A heavy downpour of rain descended on the battlefield, drenching the soil in water, and forming mini lakes in the potholes as it flowed.

As the torrent happened, a middle-aged man with brown hair slowly turning silver and gold reptilian eyes that seemed to stay despite his best efforts.

He sat on a rock while looking at a giant figure kneeling before him.

"It's funny how you had no ill-intentions when fighting us, I could feel it from the way you held back! So what made you fight so hard? So desperately that you would pay even the price of death?"

Derrick said as the rain drenched him, causing him to lower his head and just look at his feet.

[Boom!]

A lighting strike hit the ground making the dirt rise while the rain grew stronger.

"You did an excellent job, mane! You defeated the giant, thank god I didn't have to fight you." Said Bash as the water flew upon his fiery being, turning to steam and flitting into the dark night.

"An excellent job would be me giving him a fight without killing him, considering the fact he did not have malicious intent, but yet my blade struck his heart and tore it apart." Said Derrick jumping off the rock with a [Thump!] upon landing.

"The God he worships will have his soul, not that I personally care in anyway, whatsoever, considering we could have died as a result of his 'merciful bout' which on the contrary didn't seem so merciful." Bash complained, shaking water off his body,

"Why must you always act so hostile?" Replied Derrick, looking at Bash with his head slightly tilted. "Always causing a fight."

"I-"

"You defeated him…? How? You were never this strong!" Said Klide, interrupting Bash mid-speech as her mouth was slightly wide open with confusion reflecting in her eyes, her steps slow and unsteady.

"It seems me defeating that giant was not good for your mental M'Lady Klide, but as you see I am quite… strong," said Derrick, flashing his aura slightly, causing the ground to cave inwards to a crater and the storms to intensify.

"You are cheating… it's not fair!" replied Klide, falling to her butt and eyes wild open.

"Why is she acting like-"

"Oh, stop it, the speed you crossed ranks is enough to make someone lose confidence," Said Bask looking at Derrick up and down before going to Klide and patting her shoulder.

"You two sometimes scare me with your weird ant-" Derrick said before trailing over as his adrenaline went off.

[pain!]

Everywhere in his body was on fire, caused by the excessive use of Dragonborn magic. "It hurts so…"

[Bam!]

"Much!"

Derrick fell on the wet floor, causing it to dirty his face and cloth with his eyes blurring as he watched Klide walk over to him and shake his shoulder with the forest in the background. Derrick then closed his eyes as unconsciousness took him.

.

.

.

"Where am I?" Said Derrick, opening his eyes to see large blue-black bushes that covered everything.

"What happened to me!" Then memories of the fight flooded into his brain.

"I fainted from overload? That is quite embarrassing and disappointing."

Derrick then looked down and saw he was in a carriage, then looked up and walked forward. On seeing Bash, he asked, "Where are we going?"

With a boisterous laugh, Bash answered, "We have even been kicked out of the Empire, It would seem the Emperor is not too pleased having a ticking time bomb! Can't say I blame him."

"That's unfortunate!" Said Derrick with his hands on the bridge of his nose, sitting next to Bash he said, "You didn't still tell-"

"It's a secret, can't spoil the surprise now can we!" Said Klide, looking at him with a smile.

"Oh, I hate both of you!"

"Hahaha-" Bash laughed and pulled the reins of the horse, causing it to take off into the air.

The librarian

In a room with candle lights emitting blue flames, a bookshelf adorned with ancient-styled books, and a few sparrows in golden cages embellished with white runes.

An old man with patches of purple hair, strode into the room, touching a globe of the continent on the way and trod to the young man who sat on the stool next to the table, fidgeting with a tiny red pearl.

He sat down on the chair before the man

"My son Fernando, you have been acting off lately. There have been very unfavourable rumours about you lately. They talk about your cruelty and savageness, it does not help that your marriage with the Emperor's daughter got annulled with her saying you vio-" Pope Vexillum said, his face frowning and his eyes slightly closed.

"Why do you believe in the Minor God of Order: Zen?" Fernando said, directly looking at his father, his tone emotionless as the shadows of the dark room covered half his figure.

"What nonsensical questions do you utter, young man? I never raised you to doubt our ways, but to preach it, to spread it, to enlighten people not… this!" Vexillum said, swiping pen holders off the table.

"Hmm, I see, so just blind fanaticism! Well, that's a shame… I will really miss you."

Fernando said, getting a cigarette from the table, and lighting it.

"Miss me? What do you-" The pope paused and looked at his hands, he saw that it was blurry with a tint of red. He looked up at Fernando, but he was no longer in the seat.

"You see, chaos is invisible, you can assign a sight, feel, sound, touch, and even smell to it! Well, I like to make mine red, but it doesn't change the fact that it's formless," said Fernando walking around the room as he touched a rune.

[Spirit | ᛋᛈᛁᚱᛁᛏ]

Vexillum fell off the chair as he lost his balance but managed to catch himself before he fell.

"So when you put in… I don't know a drink, food, and even… the very air you breathe." Fernando then touched another rune.

[Power | ᛈᛟᚹᛖᚱ]

Vexillum's hands lost strength, making him fall face flat to the floor.

[Thump!]

"It was not easy pretending to like you, father, but it paid off, don't you think?"

Activating the rune, Fernando Flashed a wide manic smiled

"Fernando, who influenced you? The you I once knew would never do this… it's almost like you are an entirely different person!" Vexillum said, looking at Fernando's eyes from the ground, then his eyes widened. "No. It can't be!"

Fernando frowned and raised his finger to the sky. "Goodbye, old man!"

A huge red energy sphere appeared above him, causing a mini energical red storm.

The runes suddenly flickered rapidly as Vexillum mana surged, threatening to destabilize.

"You are not Fernando | Jarrice… you stole his body, otherworlder!" Vexillum said with a scowl and vengeance in his eyes.

Vexillum's face brightened with red light as the large sphere came towards him, in the process of gaining back his true memories.

The light then struck him, causing him to slowly disintegrate into the air. Vexillum then gave up and closed his eyes. "To think, I didn't notice such a cruel man in my midst! I really have become too old."

With that said, Vexillum ordinis disappeared from this world.

Fernando frowned and said, "it seems Adrian's power is not as omnipotent as I thought!"

While flexing his hands, his eyes then fell on the runes, and he suddenly thought in shock. "Wait! It's not the power of the pope! It was chaos!!"

.

.

.

Then Fernando's teeth shone with deviousness.

"So, even gods!"

.

.

.

"Have weaknesses."
