"And your brother is always thinking of solving that incident?" Alex gave his guess.
Monia nodded her head, confirming Alex's guess. She hesitated but eventually told Alex. 'He wants to kill our parent's murderers.'
Cough
Alex, who took the last sip of tea, choked when he heard that. He stared at Monia, dumbfoundedly. 'Did I just enter a revenge story!?'
"Does your brother know who the murderers are?" Alex asked.
Monia shook her head, indicating that Yuki didn't know.
Alex asked Monia with a little bit of concern."Do you want to take revenge too?"
Monia answered immediately. 'No! I want to earn money to help my brother's dream get fulfilled.'
"You mean to fulfill his revenge dream?" Alex raised his eyebrows.
'No, that is not his dream. His dream is to be the strongest being in the world and protect me from anything.' Monia showed her phone with her chin raised high.
"The strongest.....Hahahaha.." Alex rolled on the ground, laughing like there was no end to it.
Monia slapped his leg to stop it. Alex halted his laughter and wiped the tears from his eyes. "I didn't want to ridicule your brother but he has to do a lot of hard work to take that position."
Alex was talking about himself Because he thinks there was no way that a revenge fanatic could take that position.
Monia spoke with a firm expression. 'I believe in him.'
Alex nodded his head, encouraging Monia. "Yes, you have to believe. Maybe one day it might come true."
Alex stood up and picked up his bag. "Okay, I will leave now. It is already so late."
However, Monia didn't let him go. She grabbed hold of his arm and pulled him back.
Alex asked in confusion. "Why are you dragging me back?"
Monia told him. 'You can not leave now. It is already very late. You are an ordinary man, you might get robbed by someone stronger than you.'
"That-" Alex wanted to explain something, but Monia cut him off.
Monia glared at him as she held her phone up to his face. 'You will stay here tonight. Did you hear me? You will stay here!'
Alex put his hands up and surrendered. "Okay, okay, I surrender. I will spend the night here."
Monia's face instantly grew bright when she heard that. She then told him to take a shower before she went to sleep.
Which Alex simply complied with.
After a short bath, he wore Yuki's nighties, which were too short for him. But it will somehow manage one night for him.
Lying on the futon, Alex wondered. 'Today was some day, huh.'
Then he slowly drifted off to sleep, announcing the end of his day.
.....
ChirpChirp
The sun peeked through the horizon, and the birds also woke up to get their morning food.
Alex also woke up along with them. He slid open the door and walked through the hallway to get to the toilet.
Suddenly, he came to a halt. "Where is the toilet again?"
He did get to take a shower yesterday, but it didn't have a toilet in it. Which means the toilet is separate.
Luckily, he met Yuki, who just came down the stairs. He asked him. "Hey, kid. Where is the toilet?"
Yuki used the bamboo sword in his hand to point toward the toilet. "It is at the end of the hallway."
"Thank you." Alex walked in a hurry, paying no heed to Yuki's face, which was filled with annoyance.
Coming out of the toilet, he went towards the kitchen. There he saw Monia was almost done making breakfast.
Monia seeing Alex peeking through the door signaled him to get dressed as breakfast would come shortly.
Alex went to his room and got dressed. He was about to go to the room where they eat but he suddenly stopped.
Because he heard the sound of someone slashing with a bamboo sword.
He slid open the door to his backyard just to see Yuki doing strong strokes with his bamboo sword.
Alex wouldn't care about this but he saw Yuki's stance was wrong so did his swings.
"Put your left foot a little forward," Alex said with his arms crossed. He didn't know why he gave advice, but he felt something after hearing this kid's story yesterday.
Yuki stopped in the middle of his practice and glared at Alex. "Why would I listen to you? Are you some kind of big shot?"
"So, you won't respect anyone other than someone who is stronger than you?" Alex smirked at him.
"I don't respect anyone other than my sister." Yuki had his head down. "But, I won't mind taking advice from someone who actually has the experience, not like you and when will you leave our house?"
"Listen, kid. I am not staying here, your sister forced me to stay. But don't worry, I won't come anymore." Alex wiggled his finger about not staying here, then he tilted his head at Yuki and gave an evil smile. "Also, do you think some bigshot will give advice to someone as useless as you?"
Yuki's anger rose through his head, and he gritted his teeth, making a clattering noise. "I have enough- ."
Thud
The door beside Alex's room opened, and Monia came out from there. She pointed them to come inside as the breakfast was ready.
Alex went inside, not paying attention to Yuki anymore, while Yuki buried his anger deep inside, not wanting to show it to his sister.
While Alex and Yuki sat across from each other, meanwhile Monia went to get herself ready. They both ate their breakfast silently without looking at each other.
Then Monia came shortly after and sat down with them.
In a couple of minutes, they finished their breakfast.
Alex and Monia came outside with their bags in hand.
Monia turned back one last time, waving at her brother and through sign language told him to not be late for Academy.
Seeing it so easy, Alex made up his mind. 'I should take some sign language lessons.'
Monia walked away as Alex was about to follow behind her, he turned in Yuki's direction and told him. "You should try my advice a little."
With that they left the place, leaving Yuki contemplating all alone.
